It's not just cause it's convenient, but it truly does have great food great service and great ambience as it sits viewing looking out at the golf course... But the hidden beard is in the staff... My favorite is Cassandra. Who's always got a smile always in a good mood... She is always Grace under pressure no matter how busy she is. Visiting from out of town and found this place on Yelp. It's 8 mins from the hotel so an easy location for us to get to. I didn't realize is was on/near the gold course. Restaurant was nice and clean and there's a beautiful view of the golf course and the little pond. We asked to sit inside since it was over 100 degrees outside, even though they had misters on the outside patio. Service was great! Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming. She also checked on us a few times throughout our visit. There was also another waitress that walked by and complimented me. She was so sweet. The food was good! We stopped in and got brunch. French toast and a loaded hash skillet. Everything was flavorful, but the drink we had weren't so great. The margarita was too tart and sour and the chili margarita was so bland. It tasted to watered down and was not good at all. View was amazing. read more

We've had a great experience with food, drinks and waitstaff. It's lovely sitting on the golf course and the water feature out the window. The only thing last time I didn't care for, is last visit we had finished dinner and were ordering another drink/catching up, when the manager came and started taking things off our table, trying to get us to cash out and interrupting twice. There were tons of open tables so they didn't need ours and we had just spent $150; weeks weren't sipping $2 drinks and holding a table. Just thought it felt rushed. Brunch - RECOMMENDED! Patriot Breakfast is our go-to. As a self-proclaimed bacon and hashbrowns snob .... APPROVED! My sons and I love this breakfast and no longer need menus when we make it in before 2PM. Love to add a margarita or mimosa to give that true brunch feel any day. When not sitting on the patio, love the bar area with the wide, high top leather stools - so comfy! Bar deco is beautiful and TVs always have a variety of sport programming going. Portions are small compared to most places, along with higher prices and if you ask for bread there is a charge for each slice of bread. After a bocce ball game, 12 of us, waited over a hour to pay the bill, as the manager had to ok discount awards. Lacking enough staff, makes for people waiting as tables sit empty, not a place I would recommend even though I live in Grand. read more

I was very disappointed in the cranberry and chèvre salad entree. Do not order this. Lots of greens and stingy amounts of chèvre cheese, cranberries, and candied walnuts. I did ask for more chèvre cheese and they brought me another tablespoon of it. The services fine and the ambience. read more

I had the chicken sandwich and the chicken was extremely small and dry. This was the most expensive lunch with terrible food. It literally cost us $28 each with tip. My wife and I went in this week for their Monday special of Beef Stroganoff and were disappointed to be told that they were out of the Stronganoff sauce well before closing. That's also a bit confusing given this restaurant seems like a place that would make this sauce from scratch instead of just opening a bottle like anyone could do. So why didn't they make some more? Or if they do use premade Ragu style jars, just open another one! Anyway we just left and went to one of their competitors that has it every day on the menu. Also the atmosphere for this beautiful upscale restaurant with a prime gorgeous golf course view was sort of disrupted by their "trivia night" which made it feel more like an average Sports Bar. We also had come here last week for a burger, and their Spaghetti & Meatballs special. Both were okay/average, but their Cranberry Chevre salad was actually very nice. Bananas Foster dessert tasted premade and non-flamed although when we inquired, were told that it was. read more
