We had a nice breakfast today. DH had the half order on Eggs Benedict. They actually used Canadian Bacon which he called a win since he didn't have to work hard to get a bite that included all layers of flavor. The hash browns were suitable crispy and tasty. I had the oatmeal. I have to say first that I like old fashioned oats where you can see and feel the oat texture. I was afraid that these oats were going to be "mush" so was pleasantly surprised to find some texture in the bowl. Served with toast (I'm gluten intolerant) and milk (no dairy for me) but I was offered oat milk along with brown sugar and raisins. Service was generally attentive DH did have to request a refill of his good coffee later in the meal. If you have been to "The Chuck Wagon" in the past you will now find an updated facility. With new chairs, some new smaller tables, nice flooring along with a mural and new art.

Steak and Chicken Kebabs, super delicious. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. No pictures of the ribs but they are also the best ever! A must try!

    French dip. Was excellent.

I ordered the French dip with the onion rings and a side of coleslaw. Everything was excellent. The drinks were good and the the service was excellent I'll be back

I had never been to First Watch before, but I expected a wait. I checked in and was quoted 25 minutes for a party of four. After 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told I was second in line. A few more minutes went by, so I asked again, and now I was fifth in line. I was confused, and they explained that people checking in online could jump ahead of me. They also said they were unable to accurately quote a wait time, and that it could end up being much longer. I know many other places use a hybrid check-in system, and I've never experienced an issue like this. I understand when things simply take longer than expected, but tables were being turned over and people were being seated. I must have just been incredibly unlucky with the timing of people checking in online. After finally being seated about 45 minutes later, we put our order in right away since we were now going to be cutting it close. I'm used to breakfast places being pretty quick, but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up being 15 minutes late to the movie. I expected the opening credits to still be rolling, so I wasn't too stressed, but we definitely missed the first five minutes or so of the movie. The food was pretty good, but my eggs were over hard when I had ordered them over medium. What disappointed me the most was that nobody seemed to care that the quoted wait time was so far off. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Our waitress was okay, but she avoided our table like the plague while we were waiting for our food, probably because she knew it was taking so long. Empathy and kind words go a long way.

We ordered a glass of wine to start off and then ordered the main course. I had the Friday special which was fish and chips with homemade coke slaw. Cathy had the lamb dish which was exquisite. This is a scratch kitchen so everything they serve you is made fresh by their kitchen staff. I highly recommend reservations as the facility is small and gets busy quick. We will definitely be back!

When we walked in, we immediately loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is small, intimate, casual, and relaxed exactly the kind of place my husband and I enjoy. We were seated and told that Patrick would be our waiter. A wonderful young woman came by to take our drink order, and she was so polite and sweet. It did take a little while for Patrick to come over and take our food order, which initially made us feel a little uneasy and somewhat neglected, especially since the restaurant wasn't very busy. But once we got our order in, things completely turned around! The fried calamari appetizer was a 10/10 seriously, so good! For dinner, we ordered the shaved beef sandwich with cheese on a baguette, with rosemary fries on the side, and it was SO delicious. The mocktails we ordered to celebrate were also really good and made our little celebration even more special. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend The Toast! If we're ever in the area again, we'll absolutely be back.

Where do I begin. I…read moregot to the restaurant a little early and noticed that this gentleman who had just parked as well had a big smile on his face and was humming a tune as he walked towards the entrance in his nice black slacks and shirt. I walked in at 3:16 pm and was at the hostess desk for maybe 7 seconds when the same gentleman came up, greeted me and seated me. He was by the bar and we got talking about the weather, Texas, NY and life. Still early so he pulled up a chair next to my table and we continued our fun dialogue. Turns out this down to earth and very sweet guy is the owner Emilio Kimble. His wife Maria, also a sweetheart and he have brought this same natural love, care and service to their beautiful restaurant. The restaurant is big with indoor and outdoor seating, a gorgeous bar and tv's galore. My friends Barb and Luci arrived and they got their " usual" Tito's and soda plus a Cab. My Diet Coke was refilled constantly by the our very attentive waitress Emily. The food was stupendous. It had to be as Emilio's and Maria's love was contagious- Luci loved her Diamondback burger( photo). Barbara got really quiet ( a rarity)as she chomped on her tremendous pulled pork burger(;photo) and I got a special tuna salad on wheat with grilled peppers and onions and fresh avocado( photo snapped before I inhaled it). It was a beautiful sandwich. The fries were hot, crispy and tasty. It was a great meal. Big portions too. The regulars poured in and the laughter and fun continued as we moved to the bigger room for the Thursday night trivia. I love that they have a Jazz night, fish fry and shrimp Friday specials, a Billy Joel tribute night, a $16 Easter Buffet in 10 days( sadly I will be in Europe) and so many fun events on the calendar. ( photos). The restaurant is immaculate and bright. There is lots of parking up front. They cater and they deliver. They open daily at 9 am except for Mondays( closed). I am here for a racquetball tournament about 3 miles north and will absolutely bring the guys for the undisputed best meal of their trip. Thank you Emilio, Maria and your lovely team for your kindness and a memorable evening.

I didn't know that. I called the number to speak to somebody to open the gate and the guy told me I had to go around. I tried to explain the guy I didn't know how to go around because I'm not from this area. He then stated "well if you didn't cut me off, I was about to tell you". That was enough for me to tell him don't worry about it. I'll figure it out. I pull up to the other gate and it's him that standing there. He asked me where I'm going and I tell him then, he rest his elbow on my car, tries to look me in the eyes and says "it was really rude of you to hang up on me like that" I explained to him "I didn't like the tone of your voice that's why you got hung up on". He then says "well, what's the address of the place you're going to" like he doesn't know where I'm going You don't need this kind of trouble just to try to go somewhere to get a bite to eat. Let the retirement home people have this place because you're not missing anything.
