I have been not only satisfied with my experiences of automotive service at Maple Garage, but truly feel like their service and quality of work is over-the-top. I've always received fair and even sometimes under-market pricing, efficient turnaround, and great communication. I feel like they especially watch out for my old/steady sedan so I can keep it going well beyond 200k - so important to me and my finances! The management appears to go out of their way to sustain high quality in their parts, and in their employees. While sometimes it's inconvenient that they are closed weekends, I think this attracts better mechanics that enjoy their job and don't get burnt out such that quality of work drops. The place used to be called Motion Automotive and has since changed ownership and name - now Maple Garage. I liked and trusted the people at Motion Automotive, particularly Mike, who has since left. On the folks at Maple garage - I don't trust them and will not return. 1. I was quoted $19.99 for an oil change which turned out to be $26.xx. When I went to pay, they wanted some $39.xx. 2. Their labor rate is high at $105/hr while $91/hour is standard for a good, reputable and trusted mechanic. 3. They scratched my hood when my 35 yr. old classic car was in their possession. 4. The guy in the office, Terry, became passive aggressive when I confronted him about the oil change price difference. 5. The estimate they gave me was an outrageously high price for what needed to be done, and addressed things I did not need address, yet they left out things I did ask them to address. I really have nothing but awesome things to say about Maple Garage. When a local shop on a busy intersection not only happily helps you with your tire, but does it within an hour, as well - you know you've found the spot for you. Having made an appointment for my first visit, the process was as smooth as butter. So, when I managed to puncture a tire just a day later (literally...a day later. I really shouldn't be allowed to drive) I walked in unannounced thinking they would whip me for not having made an appointment. I had a feeling they preferred call-ahead visitors; however they were just as accommodating as the first visit and just as quick. I came in to Maple Garage to get my washer fluid pump replaced. The guy working the front told me that I had to get it inspected first before he could determine if it needed to be replaced or repaired. The useless inspection costed $55.00!! And he effectively did nothing except tell me that I was right in that I needed it to be replaced. The cost of the labor ($55.00) and new part ($50.00) was about $105.00 total which was justified. What was not justified was the useless inspection ($55.00) that did nothing except tell me what I already knew! So I ended up paying $160.00 (not including tax). I definitely overpaid! And it doesn't end there. To add insult to injury, when I went in my car to test the new washer fluid pump, one of the nozzles wasn't even spraying properly! It sprayed out like 2 inches. Did the mechanic even check the quality of his work? Apparently not! It turned out that there were particles clogging the nozzle that needed to be flushed out. And then I leave to go home and after driving for 20 minutes, the engine light turns on!! I had to drive back to Maple Garage to get them to fix the issue that caused the engine light to turn on. It turned out a fuse was blown due to a poor electrical connection they made in the in the replacement process. If you're going to overcharge me then at least give me quality service. Very disappointed to have experienced this poor service from Maple Garage. My first experience with them was great! Not sure if I'll come back to Maple Garage. read more

I bought a decent Groupon to this place, seemed like a fair value. This place is not open on weekends, and as a professional in financial services I need weekend service. I had to use vacation time, and then they require an appointment, "due to high volume" despite the fact that it was 9:00am and totally dead. This, to me, is sub-par customer service. Really happy with my oil change service here. The price couldn't be beat for oil change, filter, inspection, AND tire rotation. I called to try and sneak in an appointment at the last minute but they were all booked up. No problem, made an appointment for the following weekend. They book up, so recommend planning ahead. Showed up a bit early. Gentleman checked me in and let me take advantage of Yelp deal. Told me they'd have the car in just as soon as they finished the other car and that it would be 45 minutes after that. My appointment was for 10, car was pulled into the shop at 10 and done at 1045. Seriously, best oil change ever. I hate oil changes because at most places, even with an appointment, they take hours. Even once your car is pulled in. Not here. Fast, efficient, and dedicated to your car during your appointment. I could see the mechanic through the lobby window and it even appeared that they do the full basic inspection. I've seen more than a few places half ass it. AND they rotated the tires. Hard to find places that will do that without charging an additional $40. Here it was part of their standard oil change. And again, for their Yelp checkin price this was a ludicrously inexpensive oil change. Permanent home for basic maintenance now. Will consider them for larger maintenance when those times come. read more

The prices are extremely reasonable: $30.00 oil change, 10% discount to Seniors, Law Enforcement, students, military and fire personnel. These guys are relatively new in town, about a year old, but their business is already booming! I found out about them through groupon (great deal by the way) and decided to check it out. I was really surprised at how streamlined everything was, they had nice comfy chairs, time magazine, coffee shops down the street, before I knew it I had my oil and filter changed, all my fluids topped off, tires rotates, and battery and brakes checked. I could really tell that they did a thorough inspection because they even checked and found that my coolant/antifreeze level was low (it was just by a hair but they paid attention to detail) In addition, they suggested that I replace my serpentine belt soon, which I already bought and was waiting for the weekend to do. I was definitely impressed by the quality of the customer service, afterwards, a mechanic even went over everything on the checklist with me to make sure I understood what it meant. They never rushed me, even though their phones were going off and there were other customers in line. They also didn't sell me anything I didn't need! Talk about building a trusting relationship! I snagged a Groupon deal up and couldn't have been more impressed with this garage. During my wait I saw the front desk guy interact with quite a few people and he was polite, informative, and really seemed to care more about the quality of service and being honest with people over making cash. I'm sure that integrity pays off for them in repeat business, but I was impressed because I feel like it's hard to find someone who can say, "You need this, but this can wait..." Fantastic shop. The managers at this shop run a tight ship. They are honest and kind, but most importantly they are empowered to make things right for the customer. I had a situation last month where I needed service done before a work trip. Maple told me they could get it done in time. They needed a part from the dealership, and the dealer said it would be there at a certain time which was not met unfortunately and so my car was not ready in time. Maple made it right for me, they rented a car for me, reimbursed the Uber. I totally understood that they were in a tough position which was not at all their fault but they still went above and beyond to make it right. They do fantastic work. New to Denver from Tennessee. My car needed an oil change, and decided to take up Groupon on a stellar offer. $25 for an oil chance, tire rotation, brake check, fluid top off, and a 46-point inspection. Made an appointment earlier in the week and when I showed up, they were ready for me. No wait - pulled my car straight into the bay. (Chick comment here) walked in the office and was greeted by two damn good looking dudes. (After being raised by a father that works in a body shop himself - there's just something sexy about hard working, filthy, grease stained men. A great conversation with Scott and 45 minutes later, my car was done. Scott went into great detail about the "health" of my vehicle. Not once did I feel pressured to return, pressured in an upsell, or like any of the service I was receiving was anything but with a genuine concern. I live in Littleton.....now a 40 minute drive (with traffic)....but personally that is overshadowed by the respect, the friendly customer service, and the expertise I received. My car was making a crunchy sound when I took it in to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. I asked them to see what it was and to see if they could fix it. They said they didnt have the right parts and try somewhere else. I called Motion because it is so close to my house. I spoke to Mike and he told me to bring it on in. All that was wrong was my splash guard had fallen and i was dragging a corner of it as I drove. I was in and out within 5 minutes. They had tons of cars in the bays so it wasn't as though they were desperate for business. Mike fixed it for free. I would absolutely recommend this place! What a great experience. I took my car by Maple today to get an oil change. Terry suggested I use their "house blend" which was a mix or synthetic and normal oil which costs much less than the full synthetic but performs just as good. He recommended I go grab a coffee at the coffee shop just down the street. When I got back Terry had my car all ready to go. Just then a guy popped in selling boxes of fruit. We ended up buying a box and enjoying some fine oranges together. These guys are super cool and extremely honest. This place is fantastic. Friendly and honest. I took my car in for an oil change ($40), and they noticed a few problems when inspecting my car. They took me out to the garage, showed me the problems, explained what was wrong, gave me quotes on pricing to fix the problems, told me the urgency of the problems, suggested possible alternatives, and didn't pressure me to make a decision then and there. I will absolutely be going back here for future oil changes and any other maintenance or repairs. I finally feel like I can start to trust an auto shop. My brakes had been acting up so I took them to another shop to get a free inspection. The results came back what I expected but the price caught me a little off guard. I found these guys online and decided to check them out since they had a special on brakes. They quoted me a price that was just over half of what it would have cost me at two different shops. Since they had such a high standing with Yelp, I went ahead and scheduled my vehicle to be dropped off. The next call I received caught me off guard. Scott told me that my front brakes are still at 70% and there is absolutely no reason to replace them and that they are not in business to steal from me, so he took it off the order. This ended up saving me nearly $500 if I would have stuck with the other shop. He took a look at a few other problems I was having and even matched the price the other shop was offering to get it fixed. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone as I will be getting all of my future maintenance done here. I chatted with a few of them when I picked my vehicle up and they all seem like a great group of guys trying to make an honest living. A place down the street unexpectedly cancelled on me and thank god they did because I immediately booked an oil change with maple garage. The guys I talked to (2 in the front and 2 in the garage) we all very nice and very helpful. They checked out my car and gave me recommendations but didn't make any judgment calls for me (or add anything to the price). Just called for a quote on a brake job. First was told "I don't work on Audi" told him it was an Infiniti, then he quoted me $600 per axle for pads and rotors. What is your labor rate like $200/hour? The oil change went fine and was reasonably priced. The reason I am lesbian a 1 star review is because they tried to scare me into getting new rotors on my car. They told me the rear pads and rotors needed replacement which made no sense to me because they had been replaced less than 20k miles ago. Maple quoted me over $700 for the job. I took it to a garage that is further away that I trust with my car and that did the rotor replacement. The rotors do not need replacement I need new pads and a free resurfacing which cost about half the price of what Maple Garage was trying to scare me into paying. I'm sure Maple does a good job fixing vehicles but a good mechanic is a bad mechanic if you can't trust them to be honest with you. read more

Tried to send business to a local garage in my neighborhood. Needed my brakes checked as the were making squealing sounds. I was quoted $515. They said I needed pads and drums. I thought that was a lot, so I got a second quote from Big O Tires. After a full inspection from Big O Tires and them showing me my pads. I did not even need a brake job, not even pads. The sound was caused by a missing screw on the shoe! Maple Garage was prepared to replace my entire brake system for no reason but to collect my money! These guys have been great to me since I walked in with a Groupon well over a year ago. Fortunately I haven't needed major service to my car - yet, but my routine maintenance is always affordable and quick, and they're always willing to go an extra step. I even bought windshield wipers from them and they installed them and put the RainX window cleaner stuff I bought on my windshield for me. Totally unnecessary, very appreciated. I had a great experience at Maple Garage and will definitely go back. I went in to get my oil changed; they had a coupon on Yelp that made it a super reasonable price. They gave me a few recommendations, one of which was replacing my air filter. They didn't have the filter on hand so I came back a few hours later and they changed it out immediately. They're more expensive than most shops for alignments, but I do think you get WAY higher quality service here, which can be worth it. This garage, 30 minutes later, showed me the pads and said the front ones still have 80% left in them and the back have another 6000 miles and that I dont need any work right now. This place rules. Absolutely no BS, no up-selling, very flexible. I have an all wheel drive vehicle and got a flat that couldn't be patched. Before they charged me for four new tires they made sure to check all of my tread depth to see if we could replace just the one tire without causing anymore problems. Sure enough, we could! I can't say how happy I am with the experience I've had with Motion Automotive. We've had a very hard-to-diagnose problem with my old Land Rover for several years. The issue was intermittent and defied a simple explanation. Several mechanics have looked at it already and many parts have been installed. I've also posted the problem on several forums and no one has yet come close to finding what is causing the intermittent stalling. Mike spent a huge amount of time looking at all the symptoms, running diagnostics and getting to know the truck. Instead of just putting more new parts on the truck and hoping for the best, Mike kept running tests: hooking it up to the scope, test driving, examining, testing driving, etc. I have to say I am very impressed with his intelligence, his thoroughness and his philosophy of mechanics. Although it's too early to say the problem is fixed, I feel we're closer than we've ever been. Communication has been top notch and the bill is very reasonable considering the time that Motion has put in our vehicle. A+ - very highly recommended. read more
