Cream cheese don't know how many oz $3.00 for extra one..

Today 04/18/25... I guess I must the missed memo or something.. Did y'all know that if you order a bagel wanted to get it toasted you MUST have cream cheese on it.. but you say it on the side.. it's $3.00 extra.. crazy and they don't take requests either..it's either their way or the highway.. but I say " that's a highway robbery" and when your sick y'all know you can't have dairy.. and if you don't toast bagel it don't taste good.. your just eating bread that all.. and I learned new things every time I go in there.. I try not to.. but when you have a little munchies you got to do it for them.. till next up I guess..

Yum! I was craving a sweet treat, so we got some donuts from Maple Leaf Donuts. This is a convenient location between Saratoga and Los Gatos. Even though it was around noon, there were still plenty of fresh donuts. I got a classic glazed and a sprinkle donut. The glazed was soft and fluffy. Totally delicious! The cake donut was also soft and fluffy in a more cake-like way. Frosting and sprinkles on top were tasty. Both donuts weren't oily at all and left your mouth tingling with a happy sweetness. I would definitely come back here again! The donuts are about $1.50 each, so it's a lovely, affordable pick me up.

I'm so happy this place is nearby to me! I highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches. great for lunch, service is quick and so friendly, and the glazed donuts are really good too. Definitely try it if you're in the area!

    thai tea. mostly ice :(

average donut shop. i asked for thai tea and the lady at the counter convinced me on the crystal pearls. there are hardly any pearls, it's mostly ice. def not worth $8.

    #5 Croissant breakfast sandwich

I got the #5 breakfast sandwich, Really like this mom and pop store and the kids also like their donuts and bagel and croissant sandwiches as well, Location is right across from the DMV

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.

Hey there Party People…read more I had heard of this place from friends so I decided to try it. I confused this place with another restaurant when I did my first review. So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. You can order lunch at any time as well as breakfast. We started with Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes. Holy smokes they were the bomb. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite. So going to add this place to the frequent flier list. Be kind to one another

I think you know what this is by now, so no need to repeat the ingredients. Got this with a salad and sandwich deal. The problem is that there isn't enough seating inside nor outside. So once you order your food, you have to eat in your car. The guy next to me was talking so loud my colleague I ended up getting super annoyed. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The place is so small, I'm unsure if there are even restrooms in there.

I ordered the Thai Turkey sandwich which came with a side salad. I'm not sure what made the sandwich Thai other than the name but it was toasted and tasty. The salad was served directly on parchment paper on a tray - not my favorite presentation. And it was literally just greens with some shredded carrot and basic dressing. Price was okay but a little more than I would expect for a sandwich and bare bones side salad. I'd stop by again to sit outside and enjoy a lite bite.

I was there last time for their freshly cooked paella and it was impeccable. Recently we came back…read moretwice, once on Sunday as I forgot that the paella was a Friday thing, so the staff told me that they usually have paella and clam chowder freshly cooked on Friday. They happened to have a small tub of Friday clam chowder left for sale, for a whopping $16! That price dropped my rating to a 4 star. Service is still 5, but man, the value proposition isn't as high as before. The clam chowder tasted good, creamy and all, but $16 for that is really hard to swallow. The store itself is clean and sells a variety of meat products and imported goods such as from Italy. We came again on Friday evening, at 5pm exact and saw the paella pan laid outside with some amount of paella piled up. The pan felt cold and we were confused if they haven't started cooking or those were the left over. So we went inside to ask and they said the paella was available starting at 5pm, so what's on the pan was cooked. We bought 1 portion, which feeds 2-3 and it came in two 16 oz tubs. For $35, it fed my husband and myself just right. The smoky flavor was on the rice with meat and lots of clams and mussels (but not those fatty mussels that you saw in the Belgium style dish). $35 for dinner of two is not as bad value as the $16 bowl of chowder. So overall, 3.5-4 stars for food and value, 5 stars for service and friendliness.

The moment I walked in and saw all the Aunties cooking and prepping bánh mì, I already knew I was about to get some authentic Vietnamese deliciousness. I ordered the beef pho and let me tell you--it HIT THE SPOT. For a place known for sandwiches, I'm not gonna lie, my expectations for the pho weren't that high. And being Vietnamese myself, I can definitely be a tougher critic when it comes to Vietnamese food. But this did not disappoint! I'm not sure if he was the owner, but Thai was incredibly welcoming and greeted every person who came in so warmly. You could immediately tell how many regulars they have, and I can see why. It honestly made me smile because it reminded me of something I love about our culture: it's not just about blessing people with amazing food. There's so much heart, hard work, and care behind it--and food has always been one of the ways we build community and make people feel welcomed. The gentleman at the front has come across as rude on both occasions. Most recently, I called in an order and he answered with noticeable annoyance in his voice, took my order, told me it would be 20 minutes, and hung up. I arrived after about 10 minutes and the sandwich was already ready. Had I followed the full 20-minute wait time, the sandwich would have sat for another 10 minutes and likely become soggy. I ordered the tofu banh mi, which has historically been very good. However, this time and the last time, it tasted like some of the ingredients may have been refrigerated for too long. I know that may sound picky, but at $13.99 for a sandwich, I think freshness and service are reasonable expectations.
