[[HIGHLIGHT]]My experience with this company was fantastic, and quite a relief after receiving a quote from another Yelp highly rated plumbing contractor in Issaquah.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The first quote I received was the price of a small, used car to repair a freeze damaged underground water line to my shop. The break was within 1 foot of where it daylighted from underground. At the price quoted, I was debating whether to repair it at all. I then got a quote from MV Plumbing, and it was 15.8% the amount of the other. That is not a typo, or 15.8% discount over the other quote, it was literally 1/6th the amount of the other company. Not sure if they used a different approach to the work or not. They showed up at 8:00 AM, and left at 8:50 AM, so you know they did not misquote the work to be done. I had installed a water meter, so could immediately verify the repair was proper and not leaking. Anyway, this is my 'Go To' plumbing company for sure, and another lesson in why we all need to get more than one quote whenever possible. read more

Texted MV plumbing for a quote on garbage disposal replacement. He quoted me $250/hr in labor saying it would take two hrs. So $650 + tax. Outrageous! (Cahill plumbing quoted me $450 & said it would take about an hr.) When I told him no thank you, he told me to "move on." (See text pic). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They got back to me very quickly and put an above ground bypass in place the next morning to restore main water line service to my house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was worried they would damage my paver walkway but Dave assured me they would be very careful. They were and there was no need to remove and replace the pavers. Even protected them with cardboard. Cleanup was awesome. They pulled a little extra crummy top dirt and moss and replaced that with top soil which the compacted and smoothed. Very happy with their work and look forward to my next job with them. read more

I texted Dave again on 1/2/24 about a leaky shut-off valve. He had a crew at our door in half an hour and the valve was replaced within about 1.5 hours. I'm am disappointed. I called for an estimate on replacing a simple toilet flange. The person on the phone said she would have a plumber call me. I did recieve a text from Dave asking to clarify what I needed then asked for my address. After several days and a follow up text from me no response either by phone or text. I was ghosted. Maple Valley Plumbing is great and the owner is my new hero! I was attempting a DIY bidet install and had a pretty bad water leak I couldn't figure out. I was very stressed out when I called them. The owner himself took the time to come out on a Sunday morning, found the main water shutoff which was not at all where I thought it was and was in a place I never in a million years would have thought to look for it, so no doubt has probably saved me from a crisis at some future date. He replaced the broken bathroom water shutoff valve and made everything right with the bidet installation, plus went out of his way to make sure everything else was squared away, plus gave me some good advice about some other things I need to get taken care off. Overall a great guy who you can tell genuinely cares about his customers and goes above and beyond. And his prices are reasonable! Would highly recommend. read more

Sunday afternoon my husband and I were replacing an old kitchen faucet. We were almost finished, connecting the supply lines to the water valves when the cold water PVC pipe broke off. There is a $350 minimum charge that they didn't disclose. They did removed a small piece that they weren't quite sure what it was and put the wires back together. The two stars is solely because we have now have hot water. But I have never felt so scammed in quite some time. read more

Had a problem with the intake pipe from the house to the septic tank. My septic tank pumping company recommended Maple Valley Plumbing. I called and was able to get help right away and they fixed the problem. I paid and asked for a invoice/receipt for our records I was told they will e-mail it to me. A week later I still did not have the receipt. Called and got no response for a call back from the owner Dave. I called today (4-12-21) talked with Dave who said they sent it. I told him I didn't get it. He basically then told me too bad and eventually told me to "Get F**ked"and that I communicate like a f*****G zombie.
