Both sandwiches were super hot, so we ended up eating them open-faced. Styrofoam also melted. The mac and cheese was tasty but light on noodles, and the baked beans were solid. The place is small but quiet. Overall, decent. We'll try it again in the future.

It's a wooden cabin located right in front of a drive thru store. The parking lot has some spaces but it definitely needs some work done - a lot of potholes due to the weather. Once you get out of your car, you can smell the smokiness of the bbq place. Inside, they have wooden picnic tables but space is limited - there are only 4 tables. It definitely gives cozy cabin vibes. They have a screen next to the menu to place your order. There was only one gentleman behind the counter fulfilling orders. Although not many people were eating in, they seemed busy with takeout orders. Due to the lack of workers, tables weren't being wiped down and there was some trash on the floor. Anywho, we tried their kitchen sink and a half chicken. The pulled pork was my favorite. It was so juicy and had the perfect smokiness to it. The ribs were good too. I was excited to try the brisket but was left disappointed after the first bite since it was cold. The mac & cheese also had good flavor but it was also barely even warm. The chicken had the smoky taste too but it lacked seasoning. Overall this place has potential. If they fixed their food temperature, improved the cleanliness, and friendlier customer service, this place would be a 5/5.

City BBQ is one of my favorite spots, I wish there were more locations because it's just that good…read more The food is consistently great, and it's clear they care about their customers. I usually go for the Brisket sandwich meal (around $15), and it's a solid deal for the quality and portion you get. They're also the first place I go on Veterans Day as they offer free meals to veterans, and it's done with genuine appreciation, not just for show. On top of that, they always honor a veterans discount year-round, which is the kind of respect and support that makes me want to keep coming back. Great food, great people, and a business that gives back. Easy five stars.

food. ... pork sausage good. Not great. 2 stars…read more Brisket not good. in fact HORRIBLE BRISKET. . I took one bite and spit it out. Right when it arrived to our table, FIRST I started to cut it with a fork. The brisket was tough. which confused me because in Texas where I am visiting from, I eat brisket all the time. And in Texas it is served up hot and easy to cut with a fork, tender and falls apart . NEXT, I tried using a knife and fork to cut it. I actually started sawing it with force and still couldn't get it to cut. SO THEN I used my fingers to rip a piece off to eat. The brisket was luke warm. Not hot. Not warm. Luke warm and rock hard. I put it in my mouth and it was very bad. Very dense. Not tender. My first thought was that if I attempt to eat this gross brisket, I might get food poisoning. My adult son thought it looked overcooked inside and pale gray. Not a normal smoked brisket color. Not a brisket that is cooked correctly. we ate the sausage which was good. But threw that nasty brisket away. The man at the register who took our order was polite until we asked what type of sausage do you have. He replied in a kind of snippy way 'pork sausage". what we were asking was, is it jalapeño cheddar, hickory sausage or hot link, these types of sausages. And duh......of course it would be pork. The restaurant was clean. So my beef is that it is great to have a clean restaurant and polite staff but horrible brisket at a restaurant that is calling itself BBQ,.... that is NOT ok. Please learn to smoke your brisket and then learn how to reheat it without it seeming like it was nuked in a microwave and then left out to get luke warm before delivering it to the customers table. Disgusting. 2 stars for the sausage only. 0 stars for the register employee and 0 stars for the nasty brisket. You might-could come out to Texas for some real Brisket. Bless your heart.

On to the chicken wings which had a nice flavorful crust to them and still had some moistness to them. Next up were the ribs, they had a nice thin dry rub on them, not super spicy. Next up was the coleslaw that was off the chart, the mixture of the pineapple with a slightly sweet sauce just put it in a different category. The Mac and cheese was made with small elbow macaroni and a nice creamy cheese sauce, Yummmy. The final item was the baked beans which had a slightly sweet sauce to them. Good stuff!!! Oops!!! Almost forgot the sauces. The original was a nice blend of spices and just a touch of sweetness to it. As I am writing this, keep dipping my fingers in it. Yummmy!! The spicy sauce has just enough heat to it, won't burn your taste buds off. This probably one of the best Food Trucks I have visited. Get out and check Lonnie and his crew out. They do around 300 lbs of meat a day. You won't be disappointed. Don't be shut out!!!

I grabbed 3 orders of pulled pork, a full rack of ribs, and 2 orders of mac and cheese. The sauce is okay. A good mix of sweet and spicy. Not too overwhelming for kids. I might ask for the pulled pork without it on it next time (just a preference). Next time, I'll also probably try the spicy sauce on my own. It was good on the ribs, though. The ribs were great. I think they know definitely know their way around a smoker and bbq. The ribs were tender, smoky, and well-balanced with the sauce. I like the packaging, too, because the container can go straight in the fridge. The Mac and cheese was solid. My wife liked it, and we ate both servings between the two of us. For the money, we will be back. BBQ can be expensive to make on your own and buy already cooked. They've done a great job of balancing cost and quality. We will be back!

The bologna was cooked perfectly with a great tasting outside char on it to add flavor. I absolutely loved this sandwich. The beef brisket sandwich was also delicious. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich with Macaroni and cheese, smoked cabbage and baked beans. The Macaroni and cheese was a creamy cheese version that was really good. The baked beans had a really good smooth taste to them. Good stuff. One of the stars was the smoked cabbage, this definitely a must if you're ordering from them. I could have ordered several of these. Delicious!! On to the star of the show. The Brisket, OMG!!! This has to be in top echelon of Briskets I've ever had. It was super moist with a nice tasty pepper crust. It was phenomenal all by itself but you do have some bbq sauce included to add a little more flavor IF you want. Mike is use 3 different smokers for different options for making his products. He is using cherry, maple and hickory for smoking his products. You can really tell that they care about the product they are producing. If you get the chance you should definitely check them out

There are "flames" at the tops of the walls separating the booths that give the place a warm and welcoming yet cool and trendy vibe (safe to touch - it's just fog and lighting tricks). Child-friendly as well. Service: attentive server who was checking on us frequently. He did seem like he was running around quite a bit, but he was hardworking and friendly. Food: There are AYCE hot pot and Korean BBQ options available here. They have a pretty large menu to choose from, including scallops, mussels, a variety of meats and veggies. Their spring rolls were a tasty appetizer to add to our feast. The buffet section also had a tasty crab salad, kimchi, and a variety of desserts to choose from. There was an ice cream cooler with vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate hershey's ice cream to enjoy. One unique aspect was the sauce station - you can still DIY your sauces, but jf your creative side needs a little inspiration, they have recipes to make your own sauce. The house special shacha sauce recipe was my favorite.
