We each got a side salad with house dressings also very good but the best was the pizza!! My son and I got a Sicilian with half bacon and half pepperoni and it was the best we've ever had! Kaylie was a great server friendly , always checking back she was terrific! The place was clean and loved all the wine displayed! I ordered a pepperoni old world-style pizza with extra cheese, I didn't expect it to be $24.29. It was tasty, but they were stingy with the pepperoni, lucky to find 1-2 per slice. Told us 15 min, sat at drive thru and 25 min from ordering they passed a pizza that had been sitting there while we waited. Menu is nondescriptive, names for pizzas don't tell what on them. Could have gotten 2 16" for a little bit more at Mama's. read more

Marabella was recommended to me both at my hotel and by the locals in town so that is where I went for my Italian dinner. They have been in business for 40 years so that speaks to the quality too. they started in Brooklyn but are now in Washington. Marabella's has its own parking lot and a drive thru as well. Although I am not sure if it is just to pick up orders already placed or if you can order at the drive thru. But either way that would be a convenient way to pick up dinner. I dined here earlier than I'd normally eat dinner as I didn't want to miss the NC State game. I was seated in the enclosed outside dining room. I'm not sure if it is just a sun room or if it opens in warmer weather. Marabella has fresh ingredients and makes their own dough and sauces. I had already looked at the menu so knew what I was going to order as I needed some comfort food as I was in pain from my broken finger. But I was given time to look over the menu which I liked and almost went with the scampi. Warm bread and oil was brought out while I looked through the extensive menu. Another table near me ordered a pizza and after hearing the reaction to that pizza I knew I needed to try that too. So I ended up with the fettuccine alfredo as my comfort dish and then ordered a white pizza so more cheese and olive oil and garlic. I was extremely pleased with their sauce. It was the perfect creaminess and not too heavy. The portion was large too and I almost managed to eat it all as it was so good. The pizza was fantastic as well and some of the best I've had. I only had a slice or two hot from the oven but the leftovers were just as tasty. It was cooked perfectly and all the cheese just melted so good. When it was time to pay, and they take the credit cards at the table, I was told my meals had been taken care of by someone. I'm not sure who did this random act of kindness or pay it forward but I appreciated their kindness. I'm usually the one who does the RAOKs so it was heartwarming to be on the other end of it. I wish I lived closer to Marabella so might have to plan another trip just to eat here again. It is worth the drive. read more

What amazing delicious food. The lunch lasagna was delicious and the perfect portion. The chicken parm sandwich was delicious, and the fries were those good fresh cut fries from a real potato. The waitress, who had been at the table behind us with drinks and silverware, never checked on us after dropping off our food. My cup sat empty as I ate the salty fries. Since I was now salty, I got up to go to the bar to obtain my refill. This was noticed and I was refilled. As a hilarious moment, the table behind us also had to request refills. So, terrible service seems to be par. The decor was legit like something you'd see in little Italy. The vibe and the food were amazing, the lack of friendliness from the wait staff and poor service drop this by 2 stars. read more

Pepper appetizer was great value and had ground beef inside. The only size of gluten-free pizza is 12 inches, but with the enormous amount of toppings it's very filling. If you want good Italian food everything is excellent. My only nit which is outside their control is limited parking. They also have a drive through which I believe was put in during Covid. Marabella was an unexpected surprise! We were passing through Washington and were seeking a place for dinner, and Marabella didn't disappoint. The pizza was excellent, we went for the NY style, and it was the right amount of crispy and chewy, with tasty sauce and good cheese. The antipasto was fresh and large, we shared it around the table. Lastly, their take on wings is original and delicious, with the wings dusted in lemon-pepper I believe with the sauce on the side. Their mild and hot sauces were excellent. If you're looking for pizza in the Washington area, look no further, it doesn't get better than this! We'll be stopping back to try their other Italian dishes! read more

The food here is always amazing. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the pizza is somehow crunchy and chewy. We love Marabella. Mondello pizza is our favorite. The chicken Alfredo is always a treat. We had a bad experience recently involving a server named Angela. We gave her the benefit of the doubt but she continued to prove to be subpar and treated us only as a bill to be tipped on as opposed to diners looking to have a relaxing dinner. She claimed us across a busy dining room when another server asked us why we haven't been served yet then rushed through our orders. No appetizer plates came. No refills came. We had to ask for the complimentary bread. We had to ask for Parmesan. You get the idea. I left 5 stars because I don't want you to think negative of the restaurant.. Found this restaurant in Yelp while working in Washington. Great, friendly service and fantastic food. Good local restaurant with plenty of tables for families with kids. I ordered an ice tea with salmon piccata. More than enough food for two so I just ate the salmon and mushrooms and a little bit of the linguine. The dining area has two separate areas separated by a glass wall. Definitely will be back when I come back here to work again. read more

We had to draft our teams for the fantasy football and needed somewhere near and that luckily put us at Marabella. Delicious is an understatement. We started off with with a caprese salad with their own unique twist. It was laid on a bed of lettuce with black olives and red peppers on top. The bread.. balsamic drizzled over the plate and then filled with oil served with fresh baked bread sprinkled with seasoning and Pam. Simply delicious. Hubs had linguine with clam sauce. He said it was a 10. Everything was perfect. I asked for one word and he said fresh. I would have to agree with him. I had shrimp scampi. It was by far the best shrimp scampi I have ever had. Plenty of sauce. Lots of good sized shrimp cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious. We will make sure to stop when heading to the beach. "Things Change" This place has followed other independently owned Pizza Joints in Greenville. They come in using Roma Grande products but over time they gravitate towards lesser quality toppings. It seams to be a trend to get you hooked and then pull a "Bait and switch" at $2.00+ a slice even a whole large pie just isn't worth it. It not just here it happens all over. read more

My husband and I went there for lunch yesterday. We have been disappointed several times but we keep trying. The salad was terrible - as usual. Romaine lettuce with no green to it and lots of white spine, a few cucumbers and tomatoes and a few peppers. The lasagna was OK but the bread was not. It was a small piece of soggy bread laying on top of the lasagna. It would be nice to have some crackers or bread with the salad. The salad was $9.50. I do not mind the price but please give me something to enjoy. We spent around $60.00 but it was not worth it. We have complained before but to no avail so we just don't eat very much of the salad. This place is so cheap. They advertise bread with their lasagna. The waitress brought bread to the table with olive oil. We asked for the bread with our meal. They said it's extra. It's $3.50 with your meal for a half loaf. I said but the lasagna said it comes with bread. The waitress said the bread I just served you was the bread that is included in your meal. Marabella is my favorite - I love Italian food and this authentic restaurant does it so well. The variety is much appreciated and everything we have tried here is excellent. We mostly order from their menu but we have ordered their pizza many time as well. They offer three different styles and all are delicious. They have a nice wine menu as well. The restaurant is intimate and cozy but with plenty of seating. They have a covered enclosed patio as well. Their to-go service could not be easier - they use an app you can order through and track the progress, and have a drive up window once it's ready. We have used this service many times. Been to this location twice for take out. Pizza seemed hit or miss. For a pan pizza style, was a very thin crust. And the center of the pizza was wet. Toppings the second time were cold on the pizza. Both time the orders were not correct. I'm guilty of not checking the orders before driving away. That's why I didn't rate them 2 stars. The pasta was delicious. I've eaten here many times but have yet to write a review.  Their food is outstanding, and I've had Italian meals all over the globe.  This is by far my favorite.  My go-to is the penne arrabiata with pancetta, onions and hot peppers in a fantastic tomato sauce.  My friend had the chicken basilico in a white wine cream sauce with diced tomatoes and prosciutto, and this might become my new favorite.  The bruschetta was great as well.  This is a gem for Washington. read more

I arrived soon after they had opened for lunch. Judging by how quickly customers started to arrive, coming early was a good thing! The lunch menu included salads, subs, pasta and sandwiches. I ordered the canneloni. It was brought to the table in a timely manner and was a wonderful taste. Ample portion and nice plating. I would guess this building was originally a fast food restaurant, but they had done an excellent job of decorating so that other than the size of the dining area you would hardly be aware of that. Loved the old style Italian music playing in the background. All of the servers were polite, hard working, and had a professional appearance.
