**GOAT ALERT** First time multiple items GOAT Status at any restaurant I've ever been to $15 French Onion Soup $15 Iceberg Wedge Best dining atmosphere in America Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ate here a few nights before we did. This is the best restaurant you're going to find in Ohio and really lives up to the hype as a classy, eloquent, and one of a kind experience that you literally cannot get anywhere else. I'm so glad I got a reservation here and took the time to enjoy a night here as it was totally worth it. We were staying at the Hyatt Regency and it is a 4 minute walk to get here. The restaurant is inside of The National City Bank of Cleveland founded in 1845. The old bank vaults are still in tact inside the restaurant. Today they are VIP and private suites for celebrities and those that want a private room. Walking into the restaurant you are immediately greeted by the couple hostesses, coat guy, and maître d'. Everyone is in their best suit, sports coat, dress, high heels, and are dressed to impress. I absolutely love that and they are serious about their dress code. One step into the restaurant and there is a "Marble Room Steaks Raw Bar" LED light that shines onto the floor from above. This is a great spot to get a photo. Once into the giant atrium this restaurant is huge. Tons of tables and there are some TV's at the bar. Another super plus of this restaurant is that none of the tables are close to one another. You will get a private experience almost anywhere you sit. The ceiling, decor, and attention to detail is breathtaking. Up first, the free bread! Don't sleep on this, it was actually pretty good as I am an anti-free bread person unless it is at a super expensive steakhouse like this one, then it is usually pretty good. To drink, I started with the $17 Marble Room Martini (Classic Dirty Martini). This was one of my few gripes of the night, the taste was fine, but this martini is definitely shrunken. I would have preferred more than 1 blue cheese olive. Solid drink, just small. The other cocktail I tried was the $17 Espresso Martini. The Espresso Martini was better than the Dirty Martini, but both are shrunken. I'll come back again next time I'm in Cleveland and check out more cocktails. Neither of these blew me away, but both were solid. Both of us started with $15 French Onion Soup. It was absolutely perfect and I am awarding it GOAT status (Greatest of All Time). It really was that good. We loved it. Not overly cheesy, perfect broth, not too salty. Then, we had the $15 Iceberg wedge. Holy moly, just how I love it. Heavy on the blue cheese, while being covered in bacon. Absolutely perfect. We decided to share the $65 12oz Filet Mignon. The steak was cooked perfectly. A perfect medium exactly as requested. The steak was on the plainer side, but super juicy and lightly flavored. As a side, we had the $16 Potatoes Au Gratin. We thought they were a little too cheesy. We prefer the ones at Fleming's Steakhouse. For another side, we also got the $18 Kabob Sword. Loved this thing. All of the meats and veggies grilled together was excellent. For dessert, we got the $17 Fruit Crisp. We absolutely demolished this thing, even after ordering all of that food. This was a borderline **GOAT ITEM**. And for fun the restaurant gives you free cotton candy. We had a lot of fun taking pics and being goofy. Overall, an absolute 5 star experience from food, quality, and service. Came here under a reservation for 2 to celebrate a birthday. Booked a reservation 2 months in advance. For entrees we shared the dry aged delmonico and spicy shrimp and for sides we got the potatoes au gratin and kabob sword. Dry aged delmonico ($88) was good, though since I'm not a steak fanatic, comparing the taste:price ratio makes me wonder if other options would be better for me. The spicy shrimp ($42) was definitely the favorite for us. The shrimp was perfectly grilled and tender. The potatoes au gratin ($16) definitely was a rich comforting dish--can see why it's a popular choice. The kabob sword ($18) was alright and had a fair variety of vegetables but would probably have me opt to try something else. The baked alaska ($20) was fun to eat--interesting concept that the liquor was separate, which was a good palate cleanser after the popcorn flavored ice cream and popcorn, which were a little too sweet for me personally but still good. Have to commend the service. Their attention to detail was great, even bringing a stool for my bag. We were wished happy birthday by at least 3 different staff members and we did get their complimentary cotton candy on a light stand, which was unique. And the complimentary bread is good as well. Parking is available as street parking (pay with phone), paid garage parking, or valet. Overall this place is great for its above and beyond service and unique ambience. The interior is gorgeous. It lives up to the hype in that aspect. We had a reservation for 8pm and didn't leave until around 10:15pm so very slow service. Lots of other tables had the same experience as us. We ordered the lobster sushi roll, the dried aged steak, sea scallops and the seafood platter. The prices here are actually not too bad considering. They also had free bread which was super good because it was warm and fluffy. The butter isn't that great though. My favorites dish was probably the lump crab cake and the salad. My mom said it was the best crab cake she's probably had and that's a very high compliment. I thought it was very fresh and fried nicely and paired well with the veggies and sauce. 9/10 Salad was nice and fresh. 8/10 The sea scallops were solid because they were big and juicy and had a nice sear on it. A smidge salty though. 8/10 Lobster sushi roll was just okay 7/10. Aged steak was a little funky tasted although I think that's the intention. It tasted like old meat but it is aged I guess. Pretty tender. We got a free dipping sauce that just tasted like bad bbq sauce so maybe avoid getting a sauce. 6/10 Seafood platter was very meh. 5/10 Don't come here if you are looking for a quick ish meal. We waited a pretty long time for everything to come out. The history and beautiful building helps a little but that's seemingly the main focus of this place. What an amazing dining experience. I can certainly see why it's so hard to secure a reservation here. We ended up with the private room in the basement with access to the cool vault. So much history in this building and the staff is so attentive. We enjoyed our tempura cauliflower, 42oz tomahawk steak, cotton candy treat, and the sides that accompanied our entrees. This place is amazing, from the way it's decorated to the food and the service. I made our reservation for the wrong night but they still squeezed us in. While we waited we went to the bar and we each had the best old fashioned we have ever had. For appetizer we had the cauliflower and some sushi they were both amazing and the sushi tasted very fresh. Me and the wife had the filet and it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Our table also got the chicken and pork chops and both raved about how good it was I also had the wedge salad and that was amazing. The blue cheese was the fresh big chunks and probably the best I've had. Someone at our table didn't even like blue cheese but liked this. My wife and I put a New York strip steak, which was cooked medium it was perfect. We started with a wedge salad that was maybe the best wedge salad ever had. Very crispy iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing bits of bacon some egg whites. I was at least a half ahead of lettuce. It was super crispy. Disappointed. I'm planning a very special birthday party for my husband, and wanted to book one of the private spaces. However, prior to booking online I sent an email inquiring specifically about the availability of gluten free options. I have celiacs and if a restaurant doesn't have any GF options readily listed I always inquire ahead of time, for my sake and the restaurants. It's been 4 days and not a word. I could book online and pay the $500 deposit towards the $600 or $800 minimum but if I don't know if I can safely eat there that would be silly. I sent my inquiry through the restaurant's "contact private dining" option. Every other restaurant I inquired with responded within 1 or 2 days, sadly this had been my first choice. I know everyone thinks people with Celiac's are a pain or it's a made up disease but it's real and we have family's we want to celebrate with just like everyone else. read more

I had a spectacular dinner at Marble Room. It was my first time at the restaurant and won't be my last. My friend and I went to Marble Room around 5pm. She and I were trying to get reservations for this time slot a couple of weeks in advance but were unlucky. We took the chance of getting seats at the bar, and they were easily able to accommodate us. Loved the elegance of the place. I can see how it was a former bank converted into the restaurant. Our bartenders were great. Friendly and highly attentive. Also appreciated how our food came in a timely manner. I admittedly didn't love my cocktail, but the food made up for everything. We shared the crispy salmon bites, dry aged delmonico, and olive oil cake. The crispy salmon bites were a nice teaser. The delmonico and olive oil cake, on the other hand, were so worth writing home to mom for. The crust on the steak was perfectly seasoned, and the meat was juicy, fatty, and tender. I savored every bite of the steak, and I enjoyed it with their house bbq sauce and horseradish cream. The olive oil cake was probably one of the best I've had. Loved the crunchy feuilletine layer that provided a much needed textural change. I'll have to make it a point to go back every time I visit Cleveland. Visiting Marble Room was truly a grand experience. The restaurant is located in a former bank in downtown Cleveland which retains some of its history with many of the original bank design elements in tact. The decor and overall atmosphere is upscale. All of the fixtures and decor added to the fine dining experience. I was even given a little side table for my purse when we were seated which was a nice touch. Every member of the staff we encountered was very professional and made us feel like the standard was to go above and beyond for each guest. Eating at Marble Room was one of the best dining experiences I had all year. Each item we tried was delightful. I loved our appetizer choices: kettle chips with dip & surf n turf roll sushi. The steaks and sides were perfect. We could not finish it all and got boxes to bring back to our hotel because we wanted to finish every bite. We were able to find metered street parking a few blocks away and were seated right away. The atmosphere is classy but trendy, dimly lit and pretty loud. With the high ceilings and loud live music it was a little difficult to hear across the table. They were nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked.The seafood platter was okay, I don't think it was worth the price, the I couldn't tell if the quality of seafood was worth the higher price tag. The aged delmonico was also very good, I think I would've enjoyed a regular filet more tbh I wasn't the biggest fan of the crust/char on the outside. The salad was good, the roll was solid but nothing to rave about. The only other thing I would note is that it took a WHILE for the food to come out. We had a 8:15 reservation, we got our appetizer at 8:50, then did not get our main entrees until 9:40. So we did not eat our entrees until over an hour and half after our original reservation. They gave a complimentary sauce (the steaks do not come with anything unless you order extra) I'm assuming because of the wait but it tasted like regular bbq sauce. They also gave us cotton candy after which was a weird free dessert but it was good lol. If I went again I would order the crab cake, scallops, and salad, but probably not the seafood platter or delmonico. Nice to try once maybe! read more

My husband treated me to the Marble Room on 10/23/25 for my birthday. It was our first time there. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the host. A friendly and smiling woman guided us to our table. We were stunned by the beauty and grandeur of the dining room! Huge marble pillars! Gorgeous lighting! Dramatic, sweeping curtains! Cool music! Cool people! We were seated at the table and I noticed the gigantic lampshades that were neutral on the outside, but had gorgeous artwork on the inside. The restaurant was full of little details and dramatic, romantic ambience! We ordered Marble Room martinis to start (which were amazing and came with a little extra on the side with ice in a cute little pitcher). We both ordered steaks and chose the brussel sprouts to share. Our steaks were perfect and flavorful. The brussel sprouts were crispy in all the right places and the goat cheese on them was warm and creamy. Definitely a scratch recipe. We finished with the 'gold bar' cake...oh.my.god!
