We are so glad we chose the Marble Room to celebrate our summer birthdays and 19th anniversary. From the friendly greetings of the valet and doorman to the breathless 'wow' as we entered the dining room - the Marble Room made a memorable first impression. We continued to take in the beauty of the room at the bar while sipping a pre-dinner cocktail served by an affable bartender. We were escorted to our intimate booth where we met our AMAZING waiter, Tyler. He described the cuts of meat while learning our preferences. His recommendations were spot on (marbled Delmonico for my husband and a petite filet mignon for me). Tyler's description of how add-ons would enhance each meat's flavor had us immediately salivating. I chose the caramelized onion butter, which was prepared tableside before being poured hot and bubbling over my steak. Tyler's knowledge of wine also guided us in selecting a bottle that again, perfectly paired with our meal. Came here under a reservation for 2 to celebrate a birthday. Booked a reservation 2 months in advance. For entrees we shared the dry aged delmonico and spicy shrimp and for sides we got the potatoes au gratin and kabob sword. Dry aged delmonico ($88) was good, though since I'm not a steak fanatic, comparing the taste:price ratio makes me wonder if other options would be better for me. The spicy shrimp ($42) was definitely the favorite for us. The shrimp was perfectly grilled and tender. The potatoes au gratin ($16) definitely was a rich comforting dish--can see why it's a popular choice. The kabob sword ($18) was alright and had a fair variety of vegetables but would probably have me opt to try something else. The baked alaska ($20) was fun to eat--interesting concept that the liquor was separate, which was a good palate cleanser after the popcorn flavored ice cream and popcorn, which were a little too sweet for me personally but still good. Have to commend the service. Their attention to detail was great, even bringing a stool for my bag. We were wished happy birthday by at least 3 different staff members and we did get their complimentary cotton candy on a light stand, which was unique. And the complimentary bread is good as well. Parking is available as street parking (pay with phone), paid garage parking, or valet. Overall this place is great for its above and beyond service and unique ambience. The interior is gorgeous. It lives up to the hype in that aspect. We had a reservation for 8pm and didn't leave until around 10:15pm so very slow service. Lots of other tables had the same experience as us. We ordered the lobster sushi roll, the dried aged steak, sea scallops and the seafood platter. The prices here are actually not too bad considering. They also had free bread which was super good because it was warm and fluffy. The butter isn't that great though. My favorites dish was probably the lump crab cake and the salad. My mom said it was the best crab cake she's probably had and that's a very high compliment. I thought it was very fresh and fried nicely and paired well with the veggies and sauce. 9/10 Salad was nice and fresh. 8/10 The sea scallops were solid because they were big and juicy and had a nice sear on it. A smidge salty though. 8/10 Lobster sushi roll was just okay 7/10. Aged steak was a little funky tasted although I think that's the intention. It tasted like old meat but it is aged I guess. Pretty tender. We got a free dipping sauce that just tasted like bad bbq sauce so maybe avoid getting a sauce. 6/10 Seafood platter was very meh. 5/10 Don't come here if you are looking for a quick ish meal. We waited a pretty long time for everything to come out. The history and beautiful building helps a little but that's seemingly the main focus of this place. We landed in Cleveland got to the hotel and went out to the marble room right around the corner. Sat at the bar for a drink and that's some very friendly people on either side. My wife and I put a New York strip steak, which was cooked medium it was perfect. We started with a wedge salad that was maybe the best wedge salad ever had. Very crispy iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing bits of bacon some egg whites. I was at least a half ahead of lettuce. It was super crispy. For the sides we had some mushrooms that were delicious. It's a very well done. French fries with four kinds of dipping sauces. The drinks were great and the place was absolutely stunning. I had a spectacular dinner at Marble Room. It was my first time at the restaurant and won't be my last. My friend and I went to Marble Room around 5pm. She and I were trying to get reservations for this time slot a couple of weeks in advance but were unlucky. We took the chance of getting seats at the bar, and they were easily able to accommodate us. Loved the elegance of the place. I can see how it was a former bank converted into the restaurant. Our bartenders were great. Friendly and highly attentive. Also appreciated how our food came in a timely manner. I admittedly didn't love my cocktail, but the food made up for everything. We shared the crispy salmon bites, dry aged delmonico, and olive oil cake. The crispy salmon bites were a nice teaser. The delmonico and olive oil cake, on the other hand, were so worth writing home to mom for. The crust on the steak was perfectly seasoned, and the meat was juicy, fatty, and tender. I savored every bite of the steak, and I enjoyed it with their house bbq sauce and horseradish cream. The olive oil cake was probably one of the best I've had. Loved the crunchy feuilletine layer that provided a much needed textural change. I'll have to make it a point to go back every time I visit Cleveland. I'd be completely satisfied if it was just for the same steak and dessert. read more

Visiting Marble Room was truly a grand experience. The restaurant is located in a former bank in downtown Cleveland which retains some of its history with many of the original bank design elements in tact. The decor and overall atmosphere is upscale. All of the fixtures and decor added to the fine dining experience. I was even given a little side table for my purse when we were seated which was a nice touch. Every member of the staff we encountered was very professional and made us feel like the standard was to go above and beyond for each guest. Eating at Marble Room was one of the best dining experiences I had all year. Each item we tried was delightful. I loved our appetizer choices: kettle chips with dip & surf n turf roll sushi. The steaks and sides were perfect. We could not finish it all and got boxes to bring back to our hotel because we wanted to finish every bite. Make sure to get complimentary cotton candy before you go! I would love to visit again next time we are in Cleveland as this was a one of a kind experience. We were able to find metered street parking a few blocks away and were seated right away. The atmosphere is classy but trendy, dimly lit and pretty loud. With the high ceilings and loud live music it was a little difficult to hear across the table. Our servers were excellent and helpful, and even gave us a complimentary cotton candy and happy anniversary card. The food was pricey as expected but excellent quality. Very nice place with high quality food! The restaurant is inside an old bank, so the architecture and ambiance is very pretty. The free bread is nice and fluffy. We got the lump crab cake to start, which was very flavorful and fresh 5/5. We then got the seafood platter, aged delmonico, some salad, surf and turf roll, and scallops. To be honest, I think my favorite was the scallops. They were nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked.The seafood platter was okay, I don't think it was worth the price, the I couldn't tell if the quality of seafood was worth the higher price tag. The aged delmonico was also very good, I think I would've enjoyed a regular filet more tbh I wasn't the biggest fan of the crust/char on the outside. The salad was good, the roll was solid but nothing to rave about. The only other thing I would note is that it took a WHILE for the food to come out. We had a 8:15 reservation, we got our appetizer at 8:50, then did not get our main entrees until 9:40. So we did not eat our entrees until over an hour and half after our original reservation. They gave a complimentary sauce (the steaks do not come with anything unless you order extra) I'm assuming because of the wait but it tasted like regular bbq sauce. They also gave us cotton candy after which was a weird free dessert but it was good lol. If I went again I would order the crab cake, scallops, and salad, but probably not the seafood platter or delmonico. Nice to try once maybe! read more

The double-smoked Australian Wagyu ribeye is a must-try, and it went perfectly with their rich demi-glace. We also had the Miyazaki sushi roll as an appetizer, and it was a great choice. We stumbled upon this place accidentally but boy were we happy we did. We were a party of six, but they were easily able to see us in the bar area without a reservation. The service was great. It's a little pricey, but if you stick with appetizers you'll be fine. The drink menu is fantastic. They do add extra on for top shelf liquor so again you have to be careful. Everything that we ate was delicious except for the tuna taco appetizer not so good but those in our party who had steaks were very happy side, dishes, delicious, and I highly recommend the duck dumplings. Those were a highlight. I think I would fly back to Cleveland just to eat at this restaurant so if you're in the area, you don't wanna miss it. read more

A big thank you to Andres Waag for stepping in and fixing a problem that should have been handled last fall. While I genuinely appreciate Andres fixing the issue, I'm still really disappointed with the leadership team at the Marble Room. I get that the valet service is outsourced, but they really could/should have taken it upon themselves to get involved instead of pretending there was nothing wrong. read more

The atmosphere alone is impressive. The espresso martini was recommended to me, which ended up being delicious and strong. Because we had never been before, we ordered a LOT of food. They also give you complimentary bread, which I'll never complain about. We started with the teriyaki tempura cauliflower, split a salad, and then I had the sesame crusted big eye tuna bento for my entrée, while my husband had the gemelli alla vodka sauce on the limited features menu for his. By this point, we were STUFFED but still ordered dessert, even though they gave us complimentary cotton candy for my birthday (so fun!). Now, the dessert is what truly blew me away. My husband treated me to the Marble Room on 10/23/25 for my birthday. It was our first time there. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the host. A friendly and smiling woman guided us to our table. We were stunned by the beauty and grandeur of the dining room! Huge marble pillars! Gorgeous lighting! Dramatic, sweeping curtains! Cool music! Cool people! We were seated at the table and I noticed the gigantic lampshades that were neutral on the outside, but had gorgeous artwork on the inside. The restaurant was full of little details and dramatic, romantic ambience! We ordered Marble Room martinis to start (which were amazing and came with a little extra on the side with ice in a cute little pitcher). We both ordered steaks and chose the brussel sprouts to share. Our steaks were perfect and flavorful. The brussel sprouts were crispy in all the right places and the goat cheese on them was warm and creamy. Definitely a scratch recipe. We finished with the 'gold bar' cake...oh.my.god! I used to live in the Cleveland area but relocated to Orlando and never knew this place existed! Came home to visit friends and my husband said I could not go wrong with the Marble Room. Their level of professionalism and friendliness made you feel very welcomed and they are very knowledgeable. The food is incredible in quality and taste. We wanted to make sure we got three courses in, so they even let us split a Delmonico steak so we could. It was cooked to perfection. We got the blue crab and black truffle Mac n cheese special and it was so decadent and tasty. Our favorite though was the shrimp sushi and the cheesecake is literally the best I have ever had anywhere. The crème brûlée was something I want all the time!
