Great ice cream place to fulfill a craving for it. The store is relatively clean. There are lots of flavors to choose from and different cone options. I was so excited they had cheesecake icecream as it was my favorite. I got strawberry with it also in a waffle bowl. The cheesecake ice cream was delicious but the strawberry tasted artificial. Waffle bowl was pretty good now. One person in my group complained their cone tasted stale. I did see they store the cones in the open. Does the trick on a hot summer day when you're practically frying outside. That's exactly what prompted us to pop in here on our last visit to the area. I don't have any major complaints or anything to rave about this location. The gent behind the counter was patient as my son tried to make up his mind and place his order. Guess it also helped that there weren't too many folks in there at that time. This location is very much like other MSC locations. It was fairly well kept up and appeared clean. All the ice cream flavors, toppings, and add-ins were well stocked. They served up a generous helping so major kudos for that (unless you're watching your waistline, that is). Is this place cheap? No, but I won't when you can customize your order and that's really what you're paying extra for. read more

SUCCESS. I finally earned my conehead badge and I can quit eating overpriced ice cream. This place is conveniently located next to Five Guys and sounded good for dessert after eating a huge burger and fries. I didn't need it but like I said, I was "badge shopping." If you have ever been to a Marble Slab, then this one is no different than any of the others you have been to. It is the same ol' flavors with the same ol' mixins. I typically get plenty when I order a small cup. IMO, most ice cream shops are overpriced for the amount you get. This one is no different. Oh well. Was not impressed. The lady asked me what I would like. I told her then she repeated it back to me as a question then pointed to what ice cream that I wanted. I told her yes then said are you sure. Then went to the waffle cones the asked which one. I told her and again she asked me like was I sure. When we sat down there was sprinkles and other candy on all the tables or dirty napkins. Can they not take 5 minutes when slow to wipe off the tables and sweep up. You say you want our business but you don't seem to car about your business. Last 2 times I have been the ice cream is already halfway melted before its put in the cup.

They keep their yogurt in the ice cream container and scoop it out like ice cream. Because of this- the yogurt was gritty and tasted like chalk. I asked for toppings and was just handed my yogurt like I wasn't even heard. Went in to tell them how bad the yogurt was and the response I got was "I just made it." Won't be back. All my cookie cakes for birthdays and graduation are ordered at the FM 646 League City, Texas location. I will NEVER step a foot into this business again as the worker Sneha is rude. Placed an order for a birthday cookie cake last Sunday as she was told to do the biggest circle cookie cake size she can do and when I picked up the order it was a rectangular cake. On top of it, I showed her an image when I placed the order to tell her how I would like some extra icing on the cake, but I WILL show her the day I pick it up and she states, "Okay." and writes it down on her order slip. When I came in to pick up the cake and told her where I needed the extra icing, she kept eyeing me down and looked at me rudely as I stayed nice. After she finished, I told her she needs to lose her attitude and she acted like she did not do anything wrong and said she won't lose her attitude because I should of told her about the extra icing, WHICH I DID tell her the day I placed the order. She has horrible work ethic and etiqette. Definitely I will NOT place my cake orders here and I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I went to this ice cream store today, Thursday at 8:30 pm and I had a bad experience with the server. The schedule says that they close at 10pm but they had cleared the tables. When I took one of the chairs to sit down the server told me with attitude that I have to go and sit outside because she was alone and had already cleaned. I told her that was not the way to talk to a client and she start to argue with me saying that she did not have employees, that she had her children at home and she could not continue cleaning. I told her that was not my fault that she should speak with the manager and, for my surprise, that disrespectful person told me that she was the manager. I can't explain how people like that are managers. Finally I am paying part of your salary. If you can't deal with people close your store, stay at home with your kids and don't try to make others responsables of your problemas. read more

I was disappointed....very expensive and the unlimited toppings are a lie. We were told we were limited to 3 toppings. Two adults and four kids came to $39.50, and no one got more than one scoop. The store was empty when I walked in. After a several minutes, two young men wandered up from a back room, and proceeded to stare at me. I had never been in a MS Creamery before, so I asked how it worked, the servings, etc. They seemed put-off and impatient that I was asking questions. However, they were quick to take my money after placing the order. I ordered two scoops in a chocolate-covered waffle cone, in a cup. The Mint ice cream had NO flavor-- I have never experienced ice cream with no flavor, which was a surprise. The Coffee ice cream scoop was good and flavorful. The waffle cone had NO flavor either. I suspect the cones had been sitting out on the counter for weeks, months.... Can ice cream go stale sitting in a freezer for a long time? Because of the less-than appreciative atmosphere inside, I stepped outside to eat my ice cream at one of the three tables. All three were dirty with ice cream drippings and bird poo on them, like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Needless to say, I don't think I will be going back to a MS Creamery. I went to this location for the first time. I will not go back. The guys that worked there were not very customer friendly. I ordered a scoop of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough in a cup. I went to pay for my two orders with two separate gift cards for my daughters. Instead of paying attention after I mentioned this, the sale was rung up on one card. Then my daughter said she didn't care for the ice cream. It didn't taste like Cookie Dough. Little did I know that the cookie dough pieces were additional and NOT in the ice cream already. Really? It actually tasted like Buttered Pecan. I mentioned this and the employee said "Oh, they may have been mixed up." That was all. Didn't offer to correct the problem. Went for a summer treat. The ice cream was awesome, BUT the restaurant was a filthy mess! The floors were covered with crumbs, gummy bears, broken plastic spoons and who knows what else! All but one table was dirty and still had empty ice cream bowls on them. The counter under the cone area was filthy and probably hasn't been wiped down in quite a while and the windows on the front of the store were covered in ice cream handprints and dirt and needed a thorough cleaning. The two guys who wandered out of the back room to wait on us quickly retreated back to their safe haven as soon as we were served. A few months ago I went into this marble slab for for this first time. It was also my first time ever in a marble slab. Because I didn't know what I was doing I asked the two guys working there how it worked and they happily explained it to me, step by step, making it very easy for me to feel comfortable in a first time setting. The ice cream was delicious and after finding out it is homemade directly from the back, along with all their cones and cakes, it made it taste even better. I tipped them well that day and they were greatly appreciative. Since then I am a regular customer walking in sometimes with a worker I have never seen, but they all are wonderful, nice, and helpful.
