UPDATE!!! January 7, 2024 I am so pleased to know and have experienced the new and improved The Drink Station now known and rebranded The Tea League. 5 Stars . All the way. It's a whole new Coffee Shop now. After Mr. Mike, the owner, reached out to me offering his apologies and an explanation, I decided to stop by and check out the new and improved. I was pretty impressed at the transformation! All the decor is beautiful and colorful. Very inviting and uplifting. I noticed the shop was very clean. Bathrooms as well. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful. Miss Grace assisted me in choosing a delicious Vietnamese Coffee. She was so nice and super helpful. This Coffee Shop has some very unique Coffee and Teas to try. I was greeted upon walking in and then wished a good evening once leaving. Very happy for these good folks. I love avacado smoothies with Boba. I thought I would try this place out when I was in the area. On my first visit, service was a bit slow, but not horrible. What was horrible was my smoothie. IT TASTED LIKE TEA! I'm guessing they use the same mixers/equipment for everything. BAD IDEA! It ruined the $7.75 smoothies. I thought maybe it was just an oversight and I was in the area again and gave it another go. Sad to say, it tasted like TEA AGAIN! Awful to say the least and a huge disappointment. Also, I walked in and there was only one person in front of me. He had his drink within 3 minutes. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes and people that came in after me got larger orders and left before I even got my TEA flavored avacado smoothie. My advice, use separate blenders for smoothies. Tea sure doesn't enhance the flavor. It ruins it. Or maybe wash the blenders better between drinks. I don't think I will waste another $7.75 for a drink that I will throw away. I was running around League City on errands and discovered this place. There's nothing more refreshing than a good cold drink in your hand on these hot Texas summer days. Very clean and well run business. Staff was super friendly and helpful in making suggestions. I love it when people have high energy in customer service. I can see this place being very popular for family gatherings, chilling spots, studying, or just swinging in as a neighborhood regular as it is very welcoming. I went with the Classic Milk Tea with boba as a tester and it was amazing. I will have to come back and try more of their other offerings and smoothies. I discovered this place back in March. I love their drinks! The staff has always been friendly to me, and although their drinks are a little pricey, they are tasty! Love their phwapaccinos. And their hazelnut latte (hot or iced) is the bomb! Note: they have a small staff (especially during COVID) and take care with their drink creations, so this is NOT the speediest place in the world to grab a drink. Went in for a smoothie. The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted "boba" to enhance the flavor. Smoothie was 6.50 and the boba was .75 extra. I asked her if it needed the boba (by the way... this was my first experience with boba). Should have taken the the boba. The Berry Berry smoothie without the boba tastes like slightly flavored water. THE WORST SMOOTHIE IVE EVER HAD. $6.50 for slightly flavored water. Don't get me wrong, the drinks are not bad. It's the prices and service. I have spent as much or more money for one drink as I do on a whole meal at some restaurants. I've been a few times and haven't been very impressed with service. Last time I went (pre-COVID) my kid went with and even commented on the attitude of the worker taking our order. They are a bit overpriced, but I mean... can you blame them? They're in an amazing location, which probably costs more. So they need to charge extra to cover it. So I don't think you should really be complaining about it... I would've wrote a 4 start review yesterday, because the Tapioca pearls weren't done yet, and I was told two minutes but I waited 10. And the drink wasn't that good... they were probably rushed. It was my first time going, so I wasn't that impressed. But since the girl who worked the register was so nice, I went back today. I then I went a third time and I order a thai tea and the server tells me they can't do it because they made one before and it was horrible so I just left. Never going back. I have to say I really have been enjoying this place and their drinks but today I was very disappointed when I received my order which was a large wide awake and a cinnamon dolce and added an extra shot of espresso in the cinnamon dolce. The cinnamon dolce didn't even taste like cinnamon, it had no flavoring in it and the drink was undrinkable. This is the first time that this has happened and my boyfriend and I go here regularly. So usually this is my go to place but today was where my patience were tested. The customer service is pretty good. Never get any attitude ever. There's a lot of good about this place but there is a bad. The wait time. Being in the drivetru is the slowest. The Chick-fil-A lines go faster than The Drink Station with only 2 cars. I don't know why they go so slow but don't expect to come in and get fast service. I was in the line for 25 minutes and didn't get my drink cause I couldn't take it anymore. If they were quicker this place would definitely get a higher rating. read more
