The salon is in a nice area on Merrick Blvd. near shops and eateries. Inside the salon is bright and pleasantly decorated; and has Friendly vibes! Priscilla is welcoming and down to earth, she asks how you want your weave done and/or styled (all pictures are welcome!). I was a bit anxious because I do use 4 colors blended in my weave, but it was NO BIG DEAL to her, she understood and executed my weave beautifully! OMG, my "hair" came out soooo Good!! and I felt newly refreshed. **Warning**: you may get hooked on a particular YouTube series while visiting this salon. I aint tellin, you'll just have to visit.

I had a 10:45 appointment and was started right away. The assistant who started my hair was very friendly, quick and did her job prepping my hair extremely well. I was comfortable and enjoyed the music they played. Petra, the stylist, went above and beyond with my hair. Not only did she hold conversation with me during the process but even remembered my name. That personal touch definitely added to the experience. I say all that to say, I am very pleased and overjoyed with my new look. The salon, New BBS, almost demolished my hair and even, finding out today, left me with a bald spot. But Petra saw no difficulty in taming the beast and executing such an amazing, grown and sexy style for me. 10/10!

What upset me was the fact that i got there on time for my 8am appt but my stylist wasn't there so they had someone else do my braid down. It got even worse because once that part was done I waited over an hour for someone to even acknowledge me. I completely understand that it was a busy weekend but if you have a scheduling system all stylists should be aware which client they are supposed to be taking care of first. Whoever was supposed to actually do my hair NEVER acknowledged me or apologized for the unprofessionalism. I hope you ladies clear up your scheduling system because I really believe all the stylists in there do an amazing job which was why i noticed their instagram page in the first place and my hair did come out good but I just did not like how that day played out. There were a few clients ahead of my appointment time, so Keith kindly introduced himself and explained that his assistant David would take me to the sink to wash my hair. What followed was pure bliss. David was a sweetheart. Highly entertaining and has magic hands. My shampoo scalp massage was a answer to a prayer! He washed my hair thoroughly and used great products. He did not struggle to detangle my hair so my blow out was seamless. He took his time and the service was worth every penny spent. Best shampoo I've ever had. The products used on my hair were great. Not heavy or cheap. Keith silk pressed me and trimmed my hair for the Grand Finale to give it dimension and body. The results were exactly what I desired. I called Jane on Tuesday and I explained to her my situation and she said I could come by. She was very pleasant and accommodating with the short notice I was giving her. On the day of my event I met Jane and she was so nice and a joy to be around. While she did my makeup she played some music and we chatted and laughed like old friends.
