I went into the restaurant today at just before 1 in the afternoon to order a couple subs. I ended up ordering 3 subs. A person just ahead of me ordered 2 subs and they were made in 5 minutes and the customers were out of the store. Unfortunately my subs took over 35 minutes. Now the clerk did attempt to make up for this by offering me a free item, but the free item was overcooked. The owner of this business has one person working for lunch??? Seriously??? Thats not the smartest thing I have ever seen. So this started off as a 5/5 restaurant. -1 star for taking forever. -1 star for burnt product (cheesy sticks) -1 star for CANNED mushrooms on a steak sub. -1 star for offering NO fixings (lettuce et al) on any sub..... seriously a ham and cheese sandwich for 6 bucks....???? Too many good places (or even just decent places) to eat at for me to waste money here again. Canned mushrooms in an Italian joint ?????? seriously???? I've received delivery from here a couple times now and I am a happy customer. My obsession is with thin crust style crust and I was only ordering that until one time they said they were out of it. It was a Tuesday night so that kind of threw me off but I went ahead and ordered their normal crust due to the sad, hungry look in my S.O. eyes. I am happy to say I was not disappointed, which is saying a lot because I am not a fan of pizza dough usually. My SO who is a fan dug right in and got quite the pizza baby-bump. Meats and veggies are always tasty and perfectly cooked and they always deliver quickly. Although, I can't say much for the employees as I have neither had a bad or good experience getting delivery. My husband had a pizza with pineapple and ham with regular crust. He liked it. I had one that pepperoni and mushrooms with thin crust. I did not like it so much. I have to agree with Alan, canned 'shrooms on pizza, not good. And, when I have had pizza in Italy and Switzerland, they always used fresh mushrooms. This is especially true of pizza con funghi (usually a variety of fresh mushrooms, garlic, cheese, and olive oil. Also, mushrooms, by nature, do not retain a great deal of water, however, they do absorb a lot of it. Back to Marco's pizza, it was too salty and the crust was not great. I do give them points for fast delivery and it tasting better than Pizza Hut (I have not had the latter in years... always under cooked and funky). read more

It's probably one of the better chain pizzas in the area - but I'm knocking it for its price - they way overcharge. A pizza here costs about double what you'd expect to pay. Getting a large pepperoni and a large works pizza will set you back at least 40 bucks - for that price you can get like 4 pies from papa johns. Or go get Yaghis lunch special which is a much better value. read more

They redeemed themselves for offering me a free medium pizza. When I called for it. They passed me down to three different employees. While openly talking on speaker phone.... The pizza arrived. My favorite carry out pizza place! The toppings are fresh, and they don't skimp either. Only thing that annoys me is the canned mushrooms they use. It tastes awful with a slimey texture. If other chains can use fresh portobello mushrooms, surely Marco's can too. read more

The pizza from Marco's is actually really good, so this review is strictly for the Cedar Park location and their behavior. The customer service is some of the worst I've ever experienced ordering pizza in my life. Over the course of a few months, the delivery times have stretched out to around 2-3 hours. What they don't tell you though, is that the website is not clearly in sync with their delivery times. This means that if you order pizza around 6 or 7 pm, the website will say about an hour, but in reality, it's closer to 3 HOURS before you will get your order. We cancelled our order last night because it was around the 2 hour mark, and our pizza hadn't even left the shop yet. (Last weekend we ordered and our food took closer to 2 hours, and our salad looked like it'd been left out in the sun for a few hours, it was not fresh and the lettuce had become brownish and wilted) Last night, when I called the restaurant to cancel the order, the guy who picked up on the other end had no idea how to even speak to me. All he could do was sputter out a series of "Uhhhh" and "Well...." Meanwhile, you could hear phones going off non-stop in the room, which led me to believe they were swamped and the kid didn't even know what was going on. I said I wanted to cancel and he just said ok. No apologies, no offer of a free soda for the miscommunication, not even an explanation of what was going on other than how swamped they were. He tried to tell me about the website saying this or that, but he admitted that unless you call the store, you aren't getting a realistic guage of how long your order is going to take. I wish I'd had it on speaker phone so we could record that bit. Lastly, to add insult to injury, we had a woman call us back who was angry and asked why our order was voided. Apparently they finally sent our order out but of course the driver was confused because it had been voided. She tried to blame US and tried to say that the website said it was going to be up to 3 hours for deliver. Uh, no, we have the emailed receipt that claims 1 hour for delivery. Again, no apology, nothing. I hope she enjoyed our pizza for lunch today, or that she's happy to be out $50. I ended up driving to Target for a couple of frozen pizzas around 9 o'clock at night. My advice, this location needs a new staff to replace the _extremely rude_ people they've got now, they need a couple more drivers, AND they need to update their website software so it doesn't _lie_ to paying customers who are trying to feed their families. We won't be ordering from this Marco's again until they learn how to run a business properly and how to act when mistakes happen. We would have been perfectly fine had they simply apologized for the miscommunication, but apparently that's far too much to ask. EDIT: Upon reading more negative reviews, it seems like the woman who is the manager of this location is a huge problem. If it's the same woman, she seems to be ridiculously rude to everyone. read more

Not to bad for franchise pizza in Austin. We had my friend's husband play delivery man, so we got it hot and fresh. The little ones only eat cheesy bread, so we ordered som of that and a large meat pizza. (Hey, when you're having a dude pick up your pizza you gotta do what you gotta do). The cheesy bread was, well, cheesy. There was all this fake powdered Parmesan cheese on top of it and it was very, very bready. As for the pizza, it was OK, not great but not so bad that i'd never eat it again. The toppings were good, but the sauce lacked that robust flavor that I prefer on pizza. We used to order here all the time. Today was our last order. I'm not sure what's going on with this pizza place but they are woefully understaffed and way too optimistic about their delivery and pickup times. Pickup should NEVER be late - the customer is coming to get it and you know how long it takes to cook a pizza or two. My time was 25 minutes. The staff told me when I got there, after my slotted pickup time, that they were just about to cook the pizzas. That's not cool. I asked to cancel my order and they couldn't provide anything showing they will be refunding my order charge. I will probably get a phone call at 9pm tonight (pickup time was supposed to be 6:25pm) to come and get my pizza. This is the second time this has happened. So absolutely disappointed in Marco's service today. I really don't know why I keep giving them another chance. I recieved an automated text message requesting my business since I haven't been in since October it had a 25% off offer. Why not try again. So I tried placing my order online, didn't accept coupon code. I called my order in they said it could not be used with another offer. The text says nothing about not being able to combine with another offer. Spoke to the manager and he also said no. I'm under the impression if you want my business back you would offer the coupon. Guess that isn't so. Pizza Hut got my business tonight and it was heart shaped for my daughter. Guess there is always a silver lining. read more

Yes, that's correct - THREE HOURS and I could not get an online order delivered. When I called (after the order was over an hour late showing up), the manager actually hung up on me because I didn't answer her fast enough when she snapped at me about how short staffed they were. Treat your third party apps that help you deliver better! We are customers too. I arrived tonight at 6:30pm to pick up for Doordash. I checked in with the name and they said it would be a few minutes because they just put it in. I sat down at a table in front of the cashier, mind you and waited. Several people came in and were helped & the orders were ready or they waited less than 10 minutes and got their orders. They also called out names. They never called out my name that I was supposed to pick up. I then asked for a status update at 7pm (30 minutes later) when the order was going to be ready and the girl grabbed the order (that I noticed that was just SITTING there). The same guy that helped me I asked why the name was never called or no one helped me because I had just been sitting here while others been helped. No apology and I was berated that they call the names and that I should have heard a name called. I heard every name called and they never shouted out the name I was waiting for. Ridiculous! I have been to several restaurants for personal and work use and never been treated like that. I will never spend my money here. read more

I called them only to be put on hold for 10 minutes because the lay on the phone had no clue what I was talking about and if I could give her the exact address of Little Land? Why would you need it if you are contracted with them? Surely it's in the system? She asked if I could call back in 30 minutes and I asked why and to speak to a manager? This is the best party pizza in Cedar Park - the meat-lovers is solid meat, the pepperoni is the right kind of greasy, Good crust, and prompt delivery. Beyond the food, this store also does a lot of good in our Lakeline-area community. They recently donated 50 (yep fifty) pizzas for our big elementary school dinner party. They are always making contributions and chipping in for local charities and fundraising. So yes - earlier this week we had a last-minute gathering of neighbor kids at our house, the choice was obvious. We do not get fancy - one meat, one pepperoni, and two cheese - but for basic pizza feeding this is the solid choice. Check your mailbox fliers for coupons - they coupon a lot. read more

But seriously if you forgot to put in my order the LEAST you could do is explain to me that there will be a delay.
