The food itself is good. Marco's is my go to for quick pizza. My only pain point is that they NEVER include the sauces I PAY extra for. There's something seriously wrong with the grilled chicken at this place. It has only gotten worse over time. I have been consistently getting the chicken club sandwich and a pizza, and the pizza is great 95% of the time, and the sandwich used to be amazing. But over the last year or so, the sandwiches have been very inconsistent. Missing ingredients,added ingredients that weren't ordered, varying amounts of everything. It's wildly different every time. That's not even the worst part... There has been a random taste of absolute hell in these sandwiches as well. It tastes like rotten meat, or chemicals. It tastes like if I left an unsealed piece of chicken in a cooler in a hot car for a week, then tried to eat it. I thought maybe I got unlucky, like a bad tomato or something, but it just keeps happening randomly. Most of the sandwich will taste fine, but then you get a bite that makes you like you just licked the inside of your toilet. Idk if some bad employees are tampering with the food, or they aren't cleaning things well enough, but last night was the absolute last time I will try it. I literally had to run to the sink and throw up. I was dry heaving for five minutes. I am absolutely never ordering from here again. read more

How can a place screw up an order so bad? We ordered two Calzones, (1) Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Green Olives. Simple right? NOPE.. It came with hardly any Pepperoni, a ton of mushrooms, NO Green Olives, and had some sausage on it. Really. Now on to (2). Chichen Classico. Chicken was downright nasty, a TON of onions, and guess where they put the Green Olives, yep, you guessed it on this one. It doesn't even call for Green Olives, but hey I guess they figured we wouldn't notice. Just downright nasty meals. One of the worst meals we have ever gotten from them. Seems like the quality of food from them is going downhill fast based on the other comments. Might have to find another Sunday go-to. read more

Well follow instructions, now 30 minutes past when they said they were ready for curbside pickup and called and they said 5 minutes more and now it's another 15 minutes later as I watch about 20 delivery people pick up up orders for other people. When I want pizza I order Marcos. I ordered Marcos on 10/11/2024, order placed waited for order. Order came a hour later. Problem was only one pizza showed up and was left on door stoop and was cold. The delivery guy wasn't even from the pizza place and said he didn't know what was ordered that's what they gave him and he left. I called Marcos and I didn't even say anything but I order pizza and I only received one pizza. The guy says was it was such and such and I say yes. He says oh the other one is here. I said yeah and it's suppose to be here what am I going to do with the pizza being there, he responds oh I do not know let me get the manager. Manager gets on the phone nonchalantly and says its friday and we had more orders than what was expected so some orders were sent through doordash. He says he will replace the order and see when he can get someone to deliver it and reads the order back. I told him no the deluxe is thin crust not thick, he says yes ma'am I see that (but that isn't what he read to me). Anyway the order comes and the order is messed up agai. This time the deluxe shows up but it is just what the manager said thick crust not the thin crust I ordered. Just the entire experience was horrible and I will never again order from them. read more

I have ordered from here about 4-5 times. Each time I have enjoyed the food. The delivery is fast and have never had any issues ordering online. I have tried several pizzas. The White Cheezy is especially delicious. The Italian Sub, while not the best I have ever had, is more than passable with fresh tasting ingredients. The cheesy bread is good. I suggest pairing it with the garlic dipping sauce for a better experience. All in all Marco's is a solid choice for pizza night and is one of my go-to places for good quality food. read more

Yummy. Marcos has great pizza and cheesy bread. They're pizza sauce is perfect. Not too strong, not too bland.

We had a taste from pizza. But where does a NY'er go in Virginia? Well I heard that Marco's pizza was descent. So you know I had to try it out. They don't sale by slice, did I think i was in the city....a slice! In ordered a medium pepperoni/sausage. 12 bucks. In walked over to Kroger grabbed some beer and the pizza was waiting. Had to taste a slice right out of the box while sitting in the car to get that hot grease and cheese and meat taste. Bam! The pizza was poppin! The sausage was really tasty. I think what really would have made this pizza totally delicious would be if the crust was thinner. They may have thin crust but I didn't ask about that at the time. Next time I will. Excellent pizza and friendly staff. It was not the "best pizza in Richmond" good which is why I give 4/5 stars but still very good and reasonable price. And for this area it's probably the best around. Plus they actually deliver! Which is nearly unheard of in this area. If I could give this place a 0 I would but sadly a 1 is the lowest. We ordered our pizza a few minutes after 6 and it didn't arrive until 8pm. I called the store at 7:40 to ask when it would be here since the store is only a few minutes away and it said it was on the way 40 minutes prior to me calling. The girl on the phone was so rude for no reason. As frustrated and hungry as I was I know what it's like to work in customer service so I wasn't going to throw a fit I just wanted to know. Her response when I asked how soon it could be here was snippy and passive aggressive. She didn't even ask for my name to find out what order I had. I actually think their pizza is ok for the price but I would rather spend double then to deal with these people again plus I'd actually get quality. After getting my family dinner last night, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the drop in staff quality. I wasn't feeling anything homemade so I ordered our favorite pizza. However when the pizza girl eventually arrived and left I overheard my 2 youngest talking about her. The conversation involved them questioning if that was the girl that would do anything with you behind the store. This is apparently common knowledge. They started daring each other to run to the store and ask her for the "Subaru special". I expect better from Marcos especially after hearing why they thought it was ok. Apparently, the girl in question has a reputation for doing things at the store while on shift and the managers actively don't care since "no one knows outside the store". I don't want that anywhere near my kids or anyone in my family. The attitude degrades everything women have worked for, most importantly I don't need my kids being corrupted because some young lady has no selfrespect. read more

Yuck. Just Yuck. We have ordered from here before and got the Chef Salad and the Italian sub. That was ok.... but I did end up with gastro issues the next day. Two years later I thought I would give them another try. It took about 45 minutes to make two Steak subs and they were cold and dried out when they arrived. It was a sloppy mess. This pizza place recently opened in Chester so we decided to give it a whirl. We settled on a meatball pizza, veggie topped pizza and a side order of their cheesy bread. The meatball pizza was tasty and their meatballs were more in line with something you'd expect on top of a stack of spaghetti..score! The veggie pizza was loaded up with veggies..another score! Lastly, the cheesy bread..average and nothing more. So in closing, Marco's delivers a tasty crust pizza that's light on the sauce and worth a try but I'd pass of the cheesy bread as its just average. read more

Haven't had Marco's pizza since I lived in OH 10 years ago, but it's finally made it to VA. I think it's very good pizza, and they have several good specialty pies. They do a really good job with the crusts (both thin and classic are the best) and they are not stingy with the ingredients. Glad to have them in the neighborhood! read more

I ordered online a pizza to pick up and I chose a medium Hawaiian to get home and have tomatoes and mushrooms on my pizza. I love this pizza and their cheesy bread! Even their wings are good! We order at least 3 times a month
