Best pizza in Hamilton and the manager Scott is amazing. Love the thin crust pepperoni Magnifico..

Every time I go to this place I never see anybody go in or out. I don't know the full reason but I'm about 90% sure it's because of the manager and his attitude. The guy thinks he's the best person around and his pizzas are pure perfection when in reality you can go down the street to Pizza Hut or Dominoes and get the same quality pizza. Think the manager needs a refresher class on customer service or at least step down from the throne he sat himself on and join everybody in the real world. read more

Delivery forgot our salad and said would be back in 10 minutes! Bag to call store after 40 minutes and was told the driver was on their way! When they arrived after 50 minutes there was no salad dressing in the bag!!! We threw it out as we had no dressing!!! This turned out to be good, despite all the chest-thumping advertising about the founder being born in Italy. That advertising pushed me the opposite way. It's like if I said "I was born in Japan, so you should trust my restaurants because I'm not cooking everything I sell.", at least, in my mind, it is. This was the first time I'd ever been at any Marco's Pizza. In West Carrolton, near Dayton, there is one almost next to a Cassano's and they both seem to be empty, so I never had a good feeling. Today, I decided to try one, as I was in the mood for pizza although that happens often. I decided on the Deluxe Uno in a 10 inch pizza. I was looking for something like those other places' Dexlue/Supreme pies. It seemed to take a while, but they had carry out and delivery business, also. Naturally, I had to wait a while to eat the pizza because it was hot. It's odd how some places have it too hot and others just right. The crust was really brown, so it felt like it was baked too long. Since this was the first time, I assumed that it was correct. After I got started, the manager came over and asked me how it was. I said that it was good but not the best I'd ever eaten. That started a long conversation about the pizza business. He's been in the business 30 years, he told me, starting in 1979. (Yes, that would be about 34 years, but there may be gaps. I didn't ask him the months or years that he didn't work--no inquisitions while I'm eating. I was working at Cassano's Pizza in 1979.) He told me about Domino's and Papa John's and various locations across the country. I was convinced that he knew a thing or two. What surprised me was that he'd never tried Cassano's and it wasn't that far away. In any case, it tasted better than okay, but it wasn't the greatest. I would still choose Cassano's, Noble Romans, or locally, Millio's ahead of Marco's but that's my choice. I know people who don't like Cassano's or Noble Roman's. Most of the small pizzas I get are 8 or 9 inches round, and this one was bigger at 10. It was also somewhat thick, so I ended up leaving half for later. The green peppers and onions were crisp. The sausage came in big chunks though I don't remember the pepperoni. The Deluxe Uno had extra cheese on it, and it was a bit stringy--I would suspect a mix with caseine--the cheese substitute base that's also used in glue but it might just be stringy cheese. It happens. Regardless, it was good. $10.99 was not so good, and supposedly their margins are razor-thin. You can see from the photo that they stopped with the ingredients fairly far out, but crust isn't generally the most expensive ingredient. I also thought that the $1.69 for Diet Mountain Dew was bad but it's equal to a lot of places, including Richards and Speedway. read more

I would compare Marcos with Papa Johns as far as quality, variety and taste. Although Marcos sauce is a little more bland. I do give them a slight edge because I like their specialty pizzas better. Marcos isn't my favorite but a solid choice read more

Really good pizza. I love the old world pepperoni and I can never seem to get enough of their cheesy bread. They deliver to my house, which is great when I am feeling lazy. The drivers are always friendly and service never takes too long. My only complaint is that they are a little pricey and don't always have great deals. There are a lot of pizza options in Hamilton, but this is one of the good ones. We will keep them in the rotation! read more

Wish I can give less then one star for this review. Never in my life have I E-V-E-R been treated so reckless and terrible!!! Needless to say, I ordered from Marcos and my order was COMPLETELY WRONG. It was like they gave me someone else's order. I called and the so-called "owner" answered. This lady was rude, short and didn't want to give us a refund on an order they messed up. She acted like I was trying to get a free meal from them. No, infact, I paid for a meal that I NEVER ordered. Decent food, HORRIBLE customer service. WILL N-E-V-E-R return there again!!! DON'T ORDER DELIVERY. Ok so I've gone in, in person. The staff is nice the food great! However over the last year or so whenever I order it takes 45 mins to an hour to get my food and it's always barely room temperature. There delivery is dreadful and I refuse to order delivery anymore for this reason. If I go pick it up though it's always fresh and awesome. read more

Marco's makes a very good pizza. The ingredients are always fresh and the taste is fantastic. I especially love their thin crust. There's only one better pizza in the local area and they don't deliver. I also order their salads often and I've never had a bad one. For pizza delivered to your door it doesn't get any better than Marco's Pizza. Their delivery folks are always nice and well mannered and it makes for a very good experience. read more

I had not ordered from Marco's in a long time. Mainly because of the mistakes and the bad quality of my pizza. It's hard to mess up when I only order the same pizza every time. I took a chance and ordered today at 3 15 pm. The site said rarely busy between 3 and 4. Person on the phone said 35 to 40 minutes I got it an hour later and I'm 7 minutes away. Was barely warm. I don't know about the other pizzas but the one I order chicken florentine has never been the same since the franchise changed owners. I'm going back to the other one. At least when I get my pizza delivered it's so hot I can barely touch it. read more

I love Marco's! I'm so glad they opened up a franchise here in our humble little town. Not only do they have delicious pizzas, I frequently order their salads and they are also great. Before Marco's came along, you had to deal with moody delivery drivers and nasty cold pizza. I'll tell you, Marco's obviously holds their employees to a different standard because I seldom have issues with rude or "emo" drivers or staff at the pick up counter. In fact, I just ordered from Marco's tonight and the man on the phone was pleasant and friendly! *gasp* And the driver...who I guess could've been the same guy, was just so nice, he deserves a raise. It was a breath of fresh air from the night before when I ordered domino's for some reason (I eat a lot of pizza, lol) and not only did the delivery guy act like I ran over his dog, but the pizza was cold and terrible. No more of that business! I'm almost exclusively ordering from Marco's from now on. Marco's pizzas always comes piping hot and with premium crust (for a pizza chain) and fresh ingredients! And they always always have great coupons coming in the mail or attached to your box upon delivery, and great deals like the Monday & Tuesday BOGO pizza deal.
