I love Marco's pizza. Have bought exclusively from them for a few years. Tonight, ordered two pizzas, two salads, cheesy bread. Called the store 45 minutes after making the order, only to be told that it had been delivered. It had been left on the porch to get cold, and the cheesy bread over-cooked and hard as a rock. Had put a sizable tip on the bill at the time it was ordered. Big mistake. Not happy with this delivery. Am looking for a pizza store that cares about their customers. We came by for the first time yesterday while running errands in the area. My husband had his heart set on trying this place and a quick glance at Yelp revealed a 4 star rating and some very positive reviews, so I had no complaints. We arrived at 12:08pm and we were the only people there. When we entered, I saw nice décor for a pizza place and a good amount of seating. There were four good sized tables in the middle and booths on either side. Small groups will be comfortable dining in. I was originally hoping to get pizza by the slice, but I didn't see that option. We ended up sharing a medium pizza with the old world pepperoni and then jalapenos on half the pizza. The medium was $7.99 and the toppings were $1.50 each. Not sure how filling this would be, we added on the 10 piece chicken dippers for $7.99. They were nice enough to give us drinks for free since it was our first visit, our total came out to $21.19. Overall, I am going to say that this place is great and we liked it a lot. There were small things that kept it from being 5 stars. There was one employee that wasn't super friendly when we arrived. We only spoke to him for a few minutes. He said the right things, like let him know if we have questions, but was not making eye contact and had a look on his face like he couldn't wait for us to go away. Later, he brought us the chicken dippers with buffalo sauce, but we had ordered BBQ and Jalapeno Ranch, so we had to get him to fix it. They had no lids for the drinks out and it was the top of the lunch hour, so they weren't prepared. The dining area was swept in a hurry is my guess. It wasn't dirty, there were just overlooked items on the floor. However, they also had some great stuff going for them too. Manuel was the person who helped us the most and he had absolutely excellent service. He made the suggestion of the old world pepperoni when I asked what it was and did a really great job of describing how it curls when it cooks and telling us it comes right from Italy. He also told me later, while stocking the cup lids, that they are actually known for their hand tossed pizza. He said they made it in house and it's a long process and it's a great product. We had ordered the thin crust, which he said was really good and is sent by the franchise. I will have to come back and try the hand tossed! The person doing deliveries was extremely engaging and asked how things were every time he came through the dining area. There was a smile and a hi or asking how it tastes every time he came through. Impressive! I saw they are hiring for delivery drivers so I am guessing this is the manager or someone else just covering the deliveries. The pizza was really good. I was expecting regular slices and these were square slices, but the crust had a great crispiness to it. They didn't skimp on the topping, so they make the $1.50 worth it. It was a bit greasy, but greasy the way pizza should be, not pooling grease or anything. The outside pieces tasted really good until you get to the middle of the pie and see all the cheese is there, lol. Not sure if it's the normal make, but it really wasn't a problem. The old world pepperoni was a hit, it was curled and had an almost crumbly texture with a very deep flavor. I enjoyed it a lot and will be getting that topping again! The chicken dippers are larger pieces than you normally get at these types of places. I thought the meat was decent and the seasoning was okay, but would personally stick with pizza going forward. My husband though, thought they were worth ordering again. The BBQ sauce was best of the dipping sauces. I was curious why some were pre packaged and some were in plain containers. They were really busy with lots of call in orders though, so I never asked. In addition to constant deliveries while we were there, they also had several people come in to pick up or place to go orders. They stayed steady the entire time, but Manuel still stopped by to check on us. They also serve salads, specialty pies, cheezy bread, cinnamon squares and have Pepsi products. Their smalls are 10 inches, so if you are hungry, you can probably eat one by yourself. I wasn't starving, so the medium being split was a good option, but if either of us was really hungry we would probably need to split a large and take home the leftovers. Unless we added on salad or chicken or something else. We may, but the pizza is the real star here. Overall great first visit and worth another trip. read more

The pizza is good, but the delivery is always running about 30-45 minutes behind the promised time when you order. Your food will be done for forty minutes before you get it. If you want hot pizza you need to pick it up yourself. Otherwise you just get cold pizza you have to reheat. read more

Worst experience EVER at Marco's Pizza! Last Friday night, we placed a $70 order at Marcos on Valley Ridge. We were told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. My husband arrived there 30 minutes later and was told it was "just now" going into the oven. They said it would be another 6 minutes. 35 minutes later (over an hour after the order had been placed), he told them to cancel the order and refund our money. So, they voided the payment, and he left. Fast forward to today, and that supposed voided payment cleared our bank! My husband went back up to Marcos to find out what had happened. The girl at the counter said he wasn't the first person to mention this to them, that there was an issue with their new system. She did not know what to do. She got an attitude when my husband asked how he was getting his money back, called the owner, and put him on speaker. The whole time, she is standing there with the cash register wide open with money visible to anyone around. Anyway, the owner got an attitude as well and told my husband to dispute it through our bank! So, at that point my husband who had kept his cool this whole time, decided let the manager know everything that had happened the night the order was place, about the girl's attitude, and her lack of awareness about her register being wide open at that very moment. He made ridiculous excuses for her. Lo and behold, they are father and daughter. Of course they are. We will never go back there. Usually, the issues with this particular location have been because of pizzas that weren't what we actually ordered or pizzas that the toppings all slid to one side. While frustrating, it never really was a big deal. They always made up for it, with them usually being the first to notice the mistakes. This visit, however, left us $70 in the hole until (if) we get it back. Completely incompetent. Never again. read more

Pizza was warm but awful. They didn't have Italian sausage only the round sausage. The sauce was one of the worst I have ever tasted, ever. I couldn't eat the pizza. It was bad. Dough was premade. I can't explain the taste but it is bad. When we called we asked if they had contactless pick up. They said they did but never came to the car. No instructions posted on what to do. This is the best pizza ever! Everyone is so friendly and the manager, Jason, is fantastic! We ordered pizzas for my daughter's birthday party at Win Kids. They got the pizzas here on time and hot. The crust on their pizzas are amazing. They make the dough fresh everyday. And there's so much toppings. More than any other pizza chains. Marco's cost only a little more than Domino's or Pizza Hut but they have fresh made dough and a lot more toppings. It's about the same price as Papa Johns but taste much better. Hey new neighborhood pizza joint just opened right on the corner valley ridge and garden ridge finally something opened in that strip center Anyway , pizza ,subs, etc they just opened so they are training and working out all the kinks etc etc but they have a lot of help in there and I am sure in a few days it will be running great we went in and ordered a few subs I had the italionio and wife had the meatball pretty good they were fresh and hot and as you can see it was well done cool thing I thought about this place it has a few booths and a few tables to sit and dine in to we ordered and took our seat in a booth and did a little people watching while we waited read more

I recently visited the Valley Ridge location. I was admittedly upset when I walked in. The website took me to the wrong location so I ended up driving across town rather than just not showing up. Being in the food business and realizing I was upset I opened my conversation with someone who claimed to be the owner by handing him my business card signed good for dinner for two with a round of drinks to my restaurant. He was more interested in swiping my credit card rather than solving my dissatisfaction with his location. My experience at this location was to such a degree I'll never go there again and will tell others about my experience while recommending the location on Round Grove. The managers there, much less the owner know how to handle problems. read more

Make sure you monitor you account after ordering from here, especially when they have items you ordered and never delivered. Ordered from here and they were out of an item, which they failed to notify me of. It wasn't until the delivery driver showed up and stated, "huh, they must have forgotten it, I'll go grab and be back." 30 minutes pass, and only after I call do I find out they were out of said item. The person who answered the phone danced around it, and really could have cared less. I did receive an email from what appeared to be a manager or regional person trying to explain why they were out, and that I would be refunded the money. Checked account a week later and was charged full amount. Emailed same manager and zero response. They got their money, so what do they care? With many other options in the area, they'll never see another penny from me. I don't normally write negative reviews unless they are warranted. If this was over a couple bucks, no big deal, when we are talking $20+ dollars and no product! We have a problem. read more

We are regualr customers of this Marcos. Very disappointed tonight. We ordered a lg cheese with romesean crust. The pizza was nothing like previous pizzas. It looked and tasted like something out of a box. Very bland, crust had no flavor. **I really believe something has changed with the receipe. Everybody has a bad night so I called the store and spoke with the alleged "manager on duty". He said he would have another piza made. For us? No. For himself so he could taste it. Love this place! Pizza is excellent--we always get delivery and they are always friendly/fast. Anytime we have family in town or friends over we order Marcos. Our friends and family always comment on how great the pizza is! They do have good online specials as well if you look under the hot deals! Could rate them higher or lower after our most recent visit. I ordered at the counter which included a salads, drinks, 1 large pizza, and 2 small. I asked for a receipt so I could confirm the order was right but the lady said it would come out with the order. 1st concern. The salad was deliver promptly and then a few minutes later we revived the large pizza. The employee left quickly before I could say anything about the rest of the order but as I stared at the pizza it look led like it was missing some toppings plus the the crust was original and not thin. I took it back to the counter to ask and sure enough they sent our pizza out with a takeout order and we got there pizza. Bummer for of us and they agreed to make the right pizza for us. Then they realized they forgot to put the other 2 pizzas in so what should have been a quick meal took nearly 40 minutes. Luckily we were not pressed too much for time. I am glad to see the manager did something to rectify their mistake by bringing out a free dessert. A free pizza would have been nicer. Greek salad was good and the thin crust was crispy so I will probably give them one more chance. read more

Marco's has one of the best meatball sub I ever had. They are generous with the meatballs and the sauce is heavenly. The pizza are also good but I just love their subs so much! We shared a meatball sub and a small delux uno. The vegetables were fresh cut which makes it so much more awesome. Jason the manager was very friendly and helpful. He even gave us a free cheezy bread. This could become my new go to pizza place. read more

I believe in supporting local business and love pizza. Since the grand opening, I have tried Marcos pizza 5 times and each time I have been disappointed by customer service and final product. I have decided to not go back. My recommendation is for Management to train their employees to follow up with his/her customer. A simple sorry will go a long way when pizza isn't delivered as promised or the order is mixed up. There is nothing worse to sit and wait and find out your order wasn't made. I rate Marco's Pizza a 3 due to customer service and the quality of the pizza. read more

Not happy. Ordered through Uber eats ordered about 32 dollars worth of food. Ordered works pizza which has a bunch of toppings, received a plain cheese pizza which was cold. A 9.99 pizza vs what I ordered. I called and spoke to one guy who transferred me to someone above him and since I live outside the driver area I cannot have a new one delivered by them. They also can't assist with the refund because it is through Uber eats. Extremely frustrating. Left with cold cheese pizza and out 32 dollars while I wait for Uber eats to maybe refund it. Ordered dine in lunch and was told from order to table was 25 minutes, pretty accurate. For 2 adults and 2 kids, I ordered an Extra Large Pizza with 2 toppings for $15.99 and a 12" Meatball Fabio Sandwich for $7.99 (I know it was a bit indulgent but since it was my first time there I wanted to try a few items). Both were great values. The pizza had an excellent amount of toppings and looked beautiful as it was presented. The Meatball Fabio was a beast in size. The pizza was excellent and far better than other like chains. The Meatball sandwich was well seasoned and a very nice treat. (BTW, I ended up taking 4 pieces of pizza home.) This place loses a star for it's less than attentive initial customer service (3/4 star) and lack of interior dining ambience (1/4 star, no loud music does not equate to ambience). I waited entirely too long at counter with 2 people in the background working without acknowledgement. I got it your working but a simple 'be right with you' would have been sufficient to pacify me for a few more moments. This will be my go to pizza place but not for dine in. Ever since I found and tried this place I have not been back to Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. This pizza tastes different in a better way. The thing I notice is the cheese. It melts wonderfully and its stringy as heck. Marco's also has a great rewards program I'm always getting coupons I can use that's cuts the price down. Great value for the money. read more
