Usually my go to Chicago thin crust pizza place especially being from Chicago. But lately it hasn't been the same. Flavor is still good but skimpy on the ingredients sucks when you have to pay for extra cheese and seems like they put less. Normally I won't write a review but it's been like this probably the last 3/4 visits hoping it was a fluke. Maybe I'll try the Flower Mound location and see if it's any better. read more

Everything here is authentic tasting Chicago style food. I love their thin crust, deep dish, Italian beef combo sandwich, wings...EVERYTHING! You can't go wrong. If you're going here hoping for a Chicago experience, skip it. I walked in and asked them to put the Bears game on while I ordered food and ate. The guy had no idea what I was asking and seemed annoyed that I didn't want to watch his Sunday night Latin dancing show. Then I said I would be eating there and he immediately looked at his watch and said ummm ok. Should be fine. The sign on the door said open til 10pm on Sunday. It was 7:50pm. The only thing Chicago about the place was the disappointment in thinking I would enjoy my time there. Avoid this place if you're looking for a decent experience. read more

Ordered the chicago deep dish, one of my favorites when I order from the McKinney location. This thing was just... not good at all. The crust seemed like it just came out of the freezer, had no flavor, was too doughy, and not crisp at all The toppings were wildly disappoing, with the tomato sauce tasting like a frozen pizza from walmart and barely cooked on top. My husband is from Chicago has been going to Rosati's in Chicago for years and at this location in Lewisville since it opened. We would go there several times a month and bring friends and also do carryout as well. We would drive from near Denton, which was really not a long drive & it was definitely the trip. Our most recent visit was March 2026. We have noticed that the last year they have a completely new wait staff. The prior staff was all women and they did an excellent job of serving were very attentive and pleasant. Keep in mind my husband was in the restaurant business in his 20s and we are now 67 and 69 years old. Now the wait staff are all men and it is completely different from the female wait staff. They give you the impression that we are a bother to them. One tall man with gray hair we felt for the restaurant business was dressed inappropriately with a sleeveless T shirt, one you would wear at the beach, He had a very unpleasant way about him. When we would make a request during dining after we spoke with him he would walk away, turn his head and stare at us. This was not our imagination it was done repeatedly. He did not give us a good feeling & we never had an experience like this at a restaurant before. The other male server that worked with him did not look like he belonged there. I don't think he spoke English. My husband and I feel that Rosati's most likely now cares more about their carry out business. March 2025 we brought friends and noticed that the ladies restroom was not working. Fast forward to March 2026 it still was not working. It appears that Rosati's has sold to somebody else and whoever they hired to serve customers are not the right people. There are too many other choices for dining and eating out is now a luxury because of all the pricing going up over the past few years. We will not be returning. read more

We were having a family get-together and planned to pick up pizza from our usual spot. We were surprised to find out that our usual was closed for Labor Day. We looked at other options and decided to give Rosati's a try. OMG, I'm sooooo glad our usual pizza spot was closed! Rosati's was absolutely DELICIOUS!! We ordered a large thin crust, a large double crust, and a deep dish. They were ALL so yummy! I highly recommend this place. The guy working was very nice and even gave us coupons for our next order. I ordered GrubHub so can't give feedback on the location. But the food was/is amazing. I was craving pizza so I went with the Chicago Style Cheese pizza either extra sauce. And a side salad. A little piece of Chicago on the outskirts of Charlotte. Rosati's is a unicorn in deep dish form. You can ask fellow Charlotte natives (not the transplants) about where to get real* Chicago pizza, and they are dumbfounded. Unos used to run things uptown years ago, but since they shut down and Matts Chicago Dog faded off the map (also uptown) it's been a rough ride for that taste of Midwest greatness. Location: Rosati's is about 20-35 minutes away from Charlotte, of course depending on where you live. The location itself is awesome, right off Rea rd exit and in a clean large parking lot with a small, but adequate outdoor patio. Dining room: More of the same, small but enough for about 10-15 people. It's pizza after all, so most people like myself get it to go. Clean and simple, no neon signs or anything fancy. Customer service: Always a pleasure walking into this establishment, feels like a family run business. If it's a young kid or one of the adults, they are always friendly and accommodating. Food: I know there's a different version of Chicago style pizza that's actually not deep dish at all. But if this is what you came for, it's as close as you are going to get without jumping on a plane to Chicago! The cheese is always fresh and stringy, the sauce pops, the all important crust is buttery and crisp. Pro tip: Order ahead! Even if you eat in, the pie takes about 30-40 min on a normal weekday. Sooooo disappointed got the rosati dough nuggets and they were too fried, they were hard and tasted like nothing but grease- no flavor outside of grease. Ordered a personal pan pepperoni... not flavor I mean AT ALL. It had almost no pizza sauce, like when I cut into it with a fork most places the sauce spills out and that didn't happen. First things first. The pizza was good and huge. That is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. The server basically ignored me when I came in and stood at the counter. She finally did acknowledge my presence, handed me a menu, and told me to have a seat. There are lunch specials on the windows ( that's what brought me in), but not on the menu. The service was excruciatingly slow! I waited over 20 minutes for two slices of pizza. After, she brought my food, she again ignored me until I looked like I was finished. Walked in on a Thursday night after a storm so it was pretty much ourselves and a couple of other people. Not too busy. A casual place, music was low and it was a very quiet relaxing atmosphere. Service was decent, the girl didn't talk too much, she took our drink orders and food orders and we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. The food was amazing. Very very fresh. My boyfriend had the Italian beef sandwich, he liked it very much. So much in fact that he had finished it by the time i was trying to grab a picture. It came with fries and they were crispy and golden with good flavor. I got the chicken parm. I subbed out spaghetti for fettuccine and Alfredo instead of marinara (i was REALLY craving that. Don't judge me) and it was delicious. Like i said, very fresh. The garlic bread was the perfect amount of garlic and crispiness. I would definitely come back again. This place had excellent photos and 50/50 reviews and had "Chicago Style" pizza in the name. Well, don't fall for it. As a frequent Chicago visitor, this was far off from Chicago style pizza. I also received a badly packaged pizza where all my toppings were slide to one side of the pizza and the box was dripping with pizza oil in one of the box corners. I've been in a long search for a chicago style pizza, no I'm not talking about deep dish, and I finally found it in Rosati's. Rosati's is a chicago based pizza chain and to my surprise they have a few locations here in the DFW area. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a little nervous to see if it measured up to the Rosati's in Chicago, but boy was I surprised at how almost identical the taste was to the one back home. The crust on this pizza is thin of course, but not cracker thin there was still a buttery dough taste to it which I loved. The sausage was FRESH Italian sausage, and I'm not talking about that dried up crumbly mess that most pizza places around here serve. The sauce was a more sweet tasting sauce, but not overwhelmingly sweet just the right amount of sweetness. There was just the right amount of cheese, but sadly there wasn't enough for a cheese pull. In my opinion one of the main things that separate chicago style pizza and others is the seasoning. Most pizza shops that I've visited in and outside of the DFW area don't top their pizza with Italian seasoning, or at least not enough of it to be flavorful. However, Rosati's did not disappoint when it came to the Italian seasoning, you can even see it in the pics! In all, I will definitely be returning to Rosati's, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to taste a REAL slice of Chicago pizza. Had delivery here late one weekend at a friends birthday pool party. We shared multiple 18" Thin Crust Meat Mania Pizzas $31.99 each and their Cheesy Garlic Bread $7.99. It arrived in roughly 45 minutes which was right at what they said it would be. The pizza was very good, the edge pieces were the best. They were crispy unlike the center pieces that were a bit more soggy. They do not skimp at all on the toppings. The garlic bread would be a pass for me, didn't really taste any of the garlic and it was just very bland even with the dipping sauces. I would gladly get their pizza again anytime though! read more

Ever had one of those days at work where the only highpoint was the lunch you ordered early in the morning when you arrived? This was one of those days... Ordered Rosati's through Foodsby. I ordered a decent Chicago style pizza which I knew would be enough for lunch and then later into the day. Just before midday as I was running out of items to gnaw on at the desk, I was notified my pizza was here, right on time for lunch! It was a heavy pizza box in hand, heavenly aromatic smile stimulating walk back to the desk. Those I encountered commented on the delightful smell with one following me like a hungry dog! Ordered via uber eats. Pleasantly surprised by the taste of the pizza. Good flavor of the classic combo. I liked the square cut of the pizza. I keep trying not to say it...but the pizza taste like they really cooked it (as opposed to commercial pizza...if that makes sense). We only order our deep dish pies from Rosati's and they never disappoint with their excellent sauce whole milk mozzarella and pizza style "cupping" pepperoni. The crust is beautifully cooked and they always put a small spacer between your pizza and the box lid to prevent any cheese or sauce from sticking to the top. Details count! read more

I'm from Chicago and in Texas 12 plus years and I've been ordering from this Rosatis over 6-7 years...our family always requests when we host dinners in this area. Cheese and Sausage regular aka Rosatis signature "thin crust". The menu offers double dough which would never translate to regular - double would mean "extra". Phone ordered what we normally do and pick up and bummed to open the box at home and it's this double dough pizza? Half the outer edges is just bread, barely sauce or cheese. Called to question the order and disappointed to be told when I asked for regular that regular meant double dough? In what authentic Chicago Rosatis world would that ever be accurate? Offered a discount on next order and might give this location one more try. It used to be a great place and bummed about latest ratings on here and agree with Dallas observer 2022 on service.
