    This tastes like "home"

I'm originally from Chicago so yes, I'm biased when it comes to pizza! Rosati's is "home". I've tried other pizza places in the DFW area but none compares to Rosati's. Everything here is authentic tasting Chicago style food. I love their thin crust, deep dish, Italian beef combo sandwich, wings...EVERYTHING! You can't go wrong. I often order online & pickup, great location, plenty of parking, friendly service, great prices, and online deals!

Got myself the Cheef sandwich with Giardiniera peppers. It was delicious and the bread was good. Service was friendly and the dining room was spotless.

I ordered GrubHub so can't give feedback on the location. But the food was/is amazing. I was craving pizza so I went with the Chicago Style Cheese pizza either extra sauce. And a side salad. Wasn't expecting the sweet Italian dressing to be oil based, but it was still good. Glad I tried something different and went with them.

Spaghetti and meatballs served with amazing garlic toast.

Semi-new to the DFW area Rosati's Pizza from Chicago is a quaint little spot to hide, read a book, and grab some yummy eats. Best known for their deep dish pizzas and huge slices, they offer quite a variety of different dining options to choose from. Wings, Italian beef sandwiches and my favorite Spaghetti and meatballs!! The portions are huge and the lunch prices are pretty hard to beat! The team behind the counter are always friendly and nice.

Chicken Parmigiana. Subbed out marinara for Alfredo and spaghetti for fettuccine

Walked in on a Thursday night after a storm so it was pretty much ourselves and a couple of other people. Not too busy. A casual place, music was low and it was a very quiet relaxing atmosphere. Service was decent, the girl didn't talk too much, she took our drink orders and food orders and we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. The food was amazing. Very very fresh. My boyfriend had the Italian beef sandwich, he liked it very much. So much in fact that he had finished it by the time i was trying to grab a picture. It came with fries and they were crispy and golden with good flavor. I got the chicken parm. I subbed out spaghetti for fettuccine and Alfredo instead of marinara (i was REALLY craving that. Don't judge me) and it was delicious. Like i said, very fresh. The garlic bread was the perfect amount of garlic and crispiness. I would definitely come back again. On our way out we were asked by the owner how it was and we said we loved it. He looked to be very friendly and glad we had a good time. Can't wait to come back.

"Chicago Style Deep Dish Cheese Pizza" add pepperoni. (pepperoni and cheese to the right and pizza sauce only on the left).

This place had excellent photos and 50/50 reviews and had "Chicago Style" pizza in the name. Well, don't fall for it. As a frequent Chicago visitor, this was far off from Chicago style pizza. I also received a badly packaged pizza where all my toppings were slide to one side of the pizza and the box was dripping with pizza oil in one of the box corners. This was a chance I took while visiting this part of TX and my last chance at Rosati's Pizza place.

The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Culinary Mastery in Flower Mound: A Transcendental Pizza Experience…read more It is a rare occurrence to encounter a dining establishment that treats the humble canvas of dough, sauce, and cheese with the reverence of a fine art gallery. Yet, tucked away in a pristine, modern shopping enclave in Flower Mound, **Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza** is doing exactly that. As a connoisseur who has traversed the country in pursuit of the perfect pie, I can say with unequivocal authority: this is not merely a meal; it is a masterclass in culinary composition. The Atmosphere of Excellence From the moment you cross the threshold, the experience is curated with precision. The environment feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. However, the true heartbeat of the restaurant is the service. In an era where genuine hospitality is increasingly elusive, our server, Claudia, operated at a level of executive-tier care. Her ability to balance professional attentiveness with a warm, family-oriented touch, even proactively engaging our four-year-old with a dough ball, was a masterstroke of guest relations. The floor management followed suit, providing not just oversight, but narrative depth, sharing the remarkable history of the founder's O1 Visa, a rare, prestigious designation reserved for individuals of "extraordinary ability." It is fitting, then, that the kitchen produces work of such caliber. The Gastronomic Journey The prologue to our meal, a Caprese salad paired with house-grade bread, oil, and balsamic, set a high bar for quality. The tomatoes and mozzarella were remarkably vibrant, possessing that elusive, sun-ripened depth that screams farm-to-table integrity. Then, the protagonists arrived: The Elisa: A triumph of balance. The interplay of ricotta and mozzarella provides a lush, creamy foundation, while the white truffle oil elevates the profile without overwhelming the palate. The addition of honey and black pepper creates a complex, symphonic finish that keeps the taste buds yearning for the next bite. It is, quite simply, an exercise in culinary restraint and harmony. The Star Beckham: A visual and structural feat, the star-shaped crust, filled to the brim with ricotta and bacon, is an architectural marvel. Removing the red onions allowed the savory depth of the bacon and the brightness of the basil and ranch to coalesce into a flavor profile that feels both innovative and deeply satisfying. The Traditional Pepperoni: Even the most basic offering was executed with technical perfection. When a four-year-old, the most honest of all food critics, declares it the best pizza they have ever consumed, you know the foundation of the dough and sauce is impeccable. We were further impressed by the beverage program, specifically the Mastri Birrai Umbri Blonde Ale. Its crisp, clean finish was the perfect accompaniment to the richness of the cheeses, proving that the beverage curation is just as thoughtful as the menu design. The Final Verdict We left Flower Mound with empty boxes and full hearts, the memory of the meal serving as the primary topic of conversation for the entire duration of our road trip back to El Paso. A "great" pizza can be found in many corners of Texas, but an *extraordinary* pizza is a distinct privilege. Mister O1 does not simply feed you; they transport you. My only professional grievance is the significant distance between El Paso and Flower Mound. If you find yourself anywhere near the North Texas area, treat this as a mandatory pilgrimage. It is, without reservation, a must-visit destination for anyone who treats pizza as a serious culinary art form.

He never made us wait for anything and was very polite. 2 Stars Food: We ordered (essentially) 4 pizzas and a Caprese salad. The Caprese was fantastic. The high quality EVOO that was served with it was very fruity and delectable. We had the classic pepperoni pizza, a 1/2- 1/2 Federico and Meat Lovers 2.0, and a Maria. All three were very good. I like a little more sauce on mine with a bit more "tang" to it, but it was still good. Crust on all were that perfect crispy that would hold up to just holding it from the end crust. 1.5 Stars Overall: Good pizza, and next time we will try the "Extraordinary" pizzas which have ricotta stuffed in them. 4.5 Stars

It was a great chance to explore other menu options. The Italian sandwich is good. It was loaded with meat, black olives, onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and a tasty creamy Italian sauce. I chose coleslaw as my side and it was pretty decent. The sandwich was fulfilling. I was definitely satisfied and would order this again. The wings were disappointing. I chose the mango habanero flavor. The wings were cooked well and the presentation looked amazing. The sauce was great, but it tasted like the chicken wasn't cooked with any seasoning. It was like bland chicken with sauce poured over it. A little salt and pepper goes a long way. The blue cheese dressing was yummy though. My waiter was AWESOME! He was friendly, helpful and polite. He provided great service and I enjoyed his pleasant presence. I came after the lunch rush. It was a bit untidy inside and as I was sitting there they were slowly cleaning up the dining area. I will cut them a little slack. Overall a good visit and I left feeling full and mostly happy. The Italian sandwich is a YES! The wings are a NO for me. She asked reservation - we do not have any reservations. Again, I stated that I have a reservation with a confirmation and reminders. She said you do? I stated yes, let's not go there and please fix it. I showed her the confirmation. They pushed tables together and we were seated. As we seated, she stated she would get us some rolls. We saw a smaller party, seated after us, receive rolls. We were eating, I asked for some rolls. She stated they are cooking some, they did not have any reservations, and did not plan for many people (like Mother's Day). I reminded that WE had a reservation. We finally received the rolls, closer to the end of our meals. During our eating, I asked her for more napkins - she responded - MORE NAPKINS - I put extras on the tables? I stated we used them (adults, children and a toddler) - we needed napkins. No cool. My son and daughter in love - waited long for their pizza (we all had our meals). She finally brought a pizza to the table and advised that the wrong pizza was cooked. (She did say they could eat that pizza (at no charge), since they have been waiting so long. Before the correct pizza arrived, she did ask if they wanted to box it up (we were all packaged up). So they did take it to go. I asked for two cups of sweet tea to go - she said you want two cups to go, I laughed and confirmed, "Yes, I am thirsty" the tea was very good! She then asked if one was for myself and my son (we both ordered tea (refills are included). We were going to get dessert, we decided, after this meal were not going to order any. After all, we didn't want to need more napkins. #1 - No apology for not having us on the reservation. #2 - She mentioned again we did not have any reservations and not prepared (when I asked for rolls). #3 - Why do we need more napkins - she had put extras on the table. #4 - Ask why I need two teas and who were they for? #5 - My daughter-in-law paid cash. She returned her change without removing the charge (which we had to ask what this fee was; she stated it was an automatic cc fee). My DIL said, "Oh, I have cash." Yet, she still charged the fee; she had to return the fee to my daughter in law. I will state that I budgeted a higher tip because we were a large party. I covered my 3 sons (the dads) and myself. However, I gave her 20% (with much regret). I just could not bring myself to reduce it. So disappointed. It wasn't a pan pizza, but I guess it's what they're calling pan. It was a standard depth pizza crust bottom (nothing pan about it) with a thicker raised high edge on the outer edge of the pizza. It looked like a stuffed crust pizza, but it wasn't stuffed. It had a generous amount of toppings.
