I placed an order for carryout online and it was ready at the exact time it was promised. I was greeted with a smile, eagerness to help, and all around friendly staff. The food itself is great! The deal I took advantage of was 2 Medium 2 Topping Pizza's for 6.99 each and a $3.00 Cheesy Bread Special. Pepperoni/Black Olive and Pepperoni/Meatball. I ordered mine light baked and they were perfect. Super soft crust but still with a crunch. Will absolutely be back. I may have found a new pizza spot. read more

Use to like this place. Clearly they have timing, organizational and management issues. Arrived to pick up my order at the designated time. After waiting 45 minutes someone finally came up to the counter. I was told it was still in the oven (same thing I was told when I arrived 45 minutes earlier). Was not told how much longer. I was not offered a delivery option or any compensation for the long wait. I told them that I had to leave (was due at a sporting event and WAS brining the pizza) and requested a refund. They told me the charge had not been posted and it would not go through. Today it posted. The Marcos website says the order was picked up. Now I'm done with Marcos, Tucson. This place is just going downhill. When you call you're always put on hold and then put on hold again in the middle of ordering. When you go to pick up, you deal with foul mouthed screaming and unprofessional teenagers. Definitely not a place you want to take your children to eat. We have given this place more than one chance and sorry to say we won't be back again. I'll pay the extra and go up the road for much better pizza at Zzpizza where you're treated with respect and your children can enjoy their meal without hearing teenagers constantly dropping the F bomb. The service at the Marcos is just the worst! I drove 15 minutes each way to make sure I could pick up my pizza while it was hot. The ditzy girl that took my money said it would be right out, she didn't even check to see that it was sitting right there! 12 minutes later someone else asked if I had been helped!! Walked into Marco's and ordered their deal for 2 medium pizzas with 2 toppings. Paid for my order. The guy said it would be 15 minutes. Waited 25. Watched 2 people who came in after me get their pizzas and leave. Walked up to the counter. The guy asked what I was waiting for. Told him my name and my order. He looked at the row of sales tags and then called 2 other employees over. All 3 looked at one of the tags. They pointed and said something. Then the other 2 went back into the kitchen. The guy looked at me and said "It will be ready in 6 minutes." Waited another 10 minutes. Walked up to the counter. A different guy was now there. I pointed at the pizzas behind the counter and asked if any of those were mine. He asked for me name. I told him. He looked and then said, "Uh, yeah, these 2 are yours." I asked him if he knew what had happened. He said "What do you mean?" I told him that I had waited over half an hour for my pizzas. He said, "I don't know anything about that." Marcos might be a chain pizza place but it feels more like a local neighborhood place. Every time I go in there the owner recognizes me and makes sure to say "Hi". They hire a lot of the local high school kids and the all seem to care about the doing their jobs. Their food is very good too. They have a good sauce and they use real sausage, not those little sausage pellets that some chains use. They also have the standard fare, bread sticks, cheesy bread, etc... I really like the fact that you can order and pay on-line. When I go into the store, all I have to do is pick up the pizza. It makes it very convenient to stop on my way home from work. If you live in the area, definitely give them a try, I think you will like them. read more

The fact that it takes a pizza 60-70 minutes to be ready for pickup should have been a warning. Pizza shouldn't take that long. When my son showed up to pick it up at the 60 minute mark, and the tracker said that it was ready, no one could find our order. He eventually got it 2 hours after I had placed the order. It's an honest experience with Marco's Pizza. A couple of days ago I ordered a pizza and went there to pick that up. I bought a Pepsi. They charged me $4.26 for a bottle of Pepsi. I put a tip on the receipt so it became $5.26. Don't say why I only tipped a buck because I was a little bit uncomfortable with the price of Pepsi. $4.26 for a bottle of Pepsi? It's almost the same price if I buy a 12 packs of coke. Today I visited again and bought the same size of Pepsi. And they charged me $2.92 this time. $1.34 is nothing to someone. It's not to me because they lied to me twice. The first one was the price of Pepsi. Second time was what they told me. I asked them which one was the right price, and they said $2.92. And they told me if I brought the old receipt then they could do something with it. I went back to my car and found the two day old receipt and showed them. All of sudden they said there was nothing they could do. So they changed their words within a minute. Yes the overcharged Pepsi might be a mistake I understand that. But the second statement about "do-something" was not. I do not trust any place to lie about any kind of item without mistake. $1.34 is nothing but for that they are not a trustworthy place, at least, to me. Am I going to visit or order pizza again? Ha! To confirm that, I just got a new card and the first and only payment I've made with the card was Marco's Pizza for a delivery. This place has FRESH pizza and generous on the ingredients. Food is good but watch out for their coupons. BUYER BE WARE. Apparently they have a policy of 1 coupon limit 1 even though it doesn't state this on the coupon. I used 1 coupon to buy 2 pizza's and was charge full price for the 2nd pizza. I went back after discovering the overcharge. I was told of their policy. Very good pizza and prompt delivery. We order from them often for office meetings. The crust is always good, the toppings fresh and tasty. Their online ordering is easy, user friendly and they are always on time. They offer good deals and coupons. Today was the first time we had ordered a salad from them as well. I got the Chicken Cesar and was impressed. It was as good as a sit down restaurant. The greens were crispy, nice chicken - no gristle or fat; the croutons were actual butter and garlic bread, and the parmesan was real shaved, not grated/powder. Super good. Always difficult ordering from this place. Pepperoni magnifico never has the seasoning on the crust so after I FINALLY placed the order online (on my phone, online on my computer wasn't working) I called to make sure that they put the seasoning on the pepperoni pizza. She assured me it would be on the pizza. I told her the seasonings are never on the pizza even though it is something that automatically goes on the order. Well, once again we get home and no garlic and parm seasonings on the crust. What is so hard about this?? It is the standard ingredient/topping for this pizza. We also ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. It would have been excellent except for the fact that they put regular red sauce on it. Then they drizzled a little BBQ sauce on the top. That is absolutely not how to make a BBQ chicken pizza. The red sauce ruined it. It really would have been good if they had used BBQ sauce on it the ay they should have. And if you're wondering why I ordered online only to call to make sure they did something right, the coupons. You call and pay one price, you go in and order and pay another price, and order online and get coupons. You can even go in the store to order, they have a sign in the window, you mention the sign and the price still doesn't work out. Too difficult to order with them only to have it not come out right. I was looking for something besides the usual suspects that quite honestly are disgusting. Not ever having heard of Marcos, it was close to me and I had no idea it was a chain. First off they allow Online ordering which is convenient, and has deals. A TON of options available as well, which is really nice. Delivery said 45 minutes which is normal for good pizza. It showed up in less than 30. First impressions, it smelled great. I ordered the UNO, and added some stuff (Green peppers, sausage, mushrooms, green olives, pepperoni, extra cheese). It was really good, and also was good the next morning! Is it the best pizza? NO, but is it twice as good as the usial guys? YES! Wow... Watched the staff completely ignore a guy that ordered online and walked in simply because he wasn't wearing a mask. He was asked to wait outside then ignored. The guy had no problem waiting outside and asked how he was supposed to let them know which order was his... Again, all three employees ignored him. He said excuse me multiple times trying to get them to answer him. They continued to ignore him Instead of answering his question. The only response they gave after 5 minutes of him trying to get someone to answer him was, " Wait outside ". I was so angry that they would treat someone like that, I had to leave without ordering. I get being a private business and requiring a mask still, but to completely dismiss someone, ignore him and not take two minutes to address his question so he could be satisfied to wait outside. I waited outside near him to see how things played out. He said he called in his order and it was supposed to be ready by 2:55. They didn't bring him his order until close to 3:30. Not only did they ignore him, then they purposefully made him wait longer to get his food. That is absolutely no way to interact with your patrons. Will never go there. read more

What's not to like about Marco's? They have their own pizza types (love the White Cheezy, which comes loaded with bacon, onion, white garlic sauce and 3 types of cheese); I could select any of their special pizzas as is and just love them; I think White Cheezy is one of the best. Their delivery is almost always faster than they say they will get it to you, and last night, since I have ordered many times and didn't find an updated coupon at home, they deducted $4.00 off my pizza as though I used a coupon. They are also very courteous and professional, which I appreciate very much. The only criticism I have is that you either need to know ahead of time what pizza you might want to order (their website doesn't offer a menu unless you pull up the one from back east, where the prices may differ) or you have to start an order just to be able to see the menu. I'll deal with that small glitch to continue to eat their wonderful pizza. Oh, and their Pepperoni Magnifico, with 3 different types of pepperoni is simply wonderful, too! As for their subs, the ones we've tried have been simply divine: the Italiano (loaded with meats, slightly warmed with the cheese in the oven, yum!) and the Turkey & Ham Maximo. And, yes, they do indeed deserve the 5 star rating. Most pizza joints in this country are "American"-- no need to complicate the issue and compare with a Neapolitan pizza in another country. read more

Marcos pizza has to be some of the best pizza I have ever had. The pepperoni magnifico is a great deal and a great taste. The sauce is really what makes it taste so good. I always order it with extra sauce. Even my parents who don't like pizza very much were impressed. This is the only pizza I order now for parties. My friends and family always ask me "what kind of pizza is this it's really good." I used to be a papa johns guy and now I can't eat it anymore. The wings are great although they are inconsistent in how much buffalo sauce is applied. Sometimes they are covered in sauce which I like and sometimes they are pretty dry.
