Best pizza I've had since moving to Savannah. The staff is always friendly, sometimes a little confused but the pizza makes up for it. Love their White Cheezy, Chicken Fresco, and Pepperoni Magnifico, as well as their Cheezy bread & their Italiano sub. My favorite pizzeria back home does NY style and has green olives as a topping, and so does Marco's! I have ordered the thin crust with just cheese and olives, it may not be the same but it sure does make me happy. I have not had any other chain pizza in the past 11 months! I placed an order thru their website for delivery. After being delivered, we noticed that our $14.75 salad (after tax) was not delivered. I called the driver and he pulled over, checked his back seat, and said he had not been given it. (He was very helpful and pleasant.) I called the store and was told, "oh yeah... I see your salad here..." I asked, "Will you be delivering it or will I be refunded?" I was told they would not deliver it. But I couldn't get refunded. I could get a credit. Well, I don't live here. So I will need the refund, as a credit will not do me any good. I was told they could not process a refund and I would need to call the next day. The pizza is good most of the time but it's late for delivery every time. The website has the delivery status "on its way" but it never gets delivered until I call and ask the true status when it's 30 to 45 minutes late. At least they are creative. Their pizza is fantastic! I love their deals but sometimes the kids working there are just too young and dont know what to say to a customer. I have not received my receipt after they messed up the price (they charged regular price instead of the deal, only gave me the first receipt and no adjustment for the refund). Overall they are friendly and all. During COViD I am a bit disappointed that that they a) dont wear masks in the kitchen making the food, and b) allow customers in without masks and don't ask people to wait outside if it gets too crowded (there were 5 people inside in this small waiting area incl some without a mask so i waited outside). I like Marco's Pizza, but tonight I tried to order pizza at 8:15. They were no longer taking orders online for pickup and it said you had to call. I did, but it was automated, it took my whole order, and then told me the store was closed. I drove to it. The lights were off, but it wasn't closed. Excellent pizza! I loved the shirt that one of the employees wore, "Friends don't let friends eat $5 pizzas!" The store front was clean and the staff are very friendly! Greeted with a smile. Marco's literally sent a flyer of coupons to my house via mail two days ago. They don't expire until 1-8-23. When I called the restaurant just now and tried to use one, the girl on the phone couldn't figure out how to make their system accept my coupon. So, I was simply told I could not use it! They literally would not override the prices on the computer to make my total the same as what is advertised on this coupon. She didn't even seem sorry. Just informed me that the coupon is useless. I hope Marco's knows it's wasting thousands of dollars on direct mail that their employees won't actually let anyone use! How completely idiotic is that?! Pizza was actually pretty good, I would have enjoyed it much more if my order was complete. But all in all I cannot complain about the pizza. What I can complain about is the delivery dude himself. Marcos is my favorite but not today. I ordered a pizza with 5 vegetables and sausage. Whoever made it piled on the vegetables, there's more vegetables than pizza - it's not proportioned at all. Also all the vegetables were just laying on top - I expected it to be under the cheese. A pizza looks delicious when you can see all the gooey cheese. I got thru one slice reluctantly. It didn't taste good at all. Should I spend almost $13 for a pizza that I dont like? With Pizza Hut being my primary source of pizza pretty much all my life, I had big expectations for Marcos pizza, and let me tell you it want bad for what it was, the thin crust cheese pizza, my favorite kind of pizza, was just okay, but the pepperoni and the meatball pizza is where Marcos really shines,even the garlic bread tastes amazing, it tastes like how papa johns pizza should taste. I ordered the wings which were good, I just would have liked them not so "mushy", but they feel right off the bone and the favor was great. Pizza is great!! Staff and owner are super friendly and thoughtful. My son and I went in to order and waited at the store for the pizza. In the front they have a small area to sit and eat in if you choose. The owner was using this are to enjoy his lunch, but we still had plenty of room to sit and wait for your pizza, The owner was friendly and asked my son questions and seemed very interested in what my son would say. At 7:45pm, still had not received my pizza. Called the store several times to check on the status of the pizza, but was put on hold numerous times and never got an answer. After a while, no one even bothered to answer the phone. Finally got through to someone and they didn't seem to care about the situation so asked to speak to the manager. Big mistake. He cared even LESS about the quality of service that was being provided. Completely unapologetic about the fact that a pizza had taken more than 2 hours to show up at my door.
