Marco's pizza is a chain pizza shop that I first heard of and tried in Florida. My husband and I tried it when we first moved to TX as last minute dinner plans. We ordered a large pepperoni w/jalapeño. Delivery/service was pretty quick which we appreciated. Pizza was a boy too saucy for me. Overall, not bad but for a pizza lover like myself this was just ok. We ordered delivery, so I'm not sure what the ambiance is at the actual pizza shop. It does look crowded the times I've driven by so it must be popular! read more

First off I have never been to a Marcos Pizza. When I walked into this location I first noticed how clean it was. Everything was spotless and it even smelled clean. I asked if they had a cauliflower pizza crust, sadly they do not. But I was pleasantly happy to see that they have a Pizza Bowl. It's is basically a pizza without the crust. PERFECT for someone who is watching their carbs or someone who is allergic. It come as one large portion, which is 2 servings. It was wonderful. I will be coming back! read more

So, I had heard about Marco's Pizza from people but I have been a die-hard Pizza Hut person almost the entirety of my life. I wasn't changing my mind. Well, this past week, we got a flyer in the mail that offered a great deal on 2 pizzas so, I ordered. I did carry out because it's only like 5 minutes away. Ordering online was great and easy. I got to the store and the people behind the counter were quick and friendly. Let me tell you, it was a test of my will power in the car going home not to stop the car and start eating right then and there. The smell was incredible! I had not smelled anything that good as far as pizza went in YEARS! And the taste?? Well, I'm writing this as I finish up the leftovers for my breakfast this morning. I never eat pizza for breakfast. Marcos pizza is delicious. However I've been receiving emails from them for years and have attempted to use promo codes online. When I haven't been able to successfully use the promo code (like the picture attached). I reached out to the store, who told me they wouldn't be able to assist because the promo codes are given by Corporate and not their own store. So I contacted corporate and guess what happened? Nothing. Lost my business and I'll sadly never go back here again. If a business is distributing emails with promo codes there shouldn't be any issues with using the codes. If anything it's made me more frustrated and now I'm unsubscribed from their email list because I'm fed up of getting fictitious promo codes. read more

Ran in here for a quick lunch before doing some errands. We just wanted sandwiches and salads. We ordered Italian sandwiches and ended up taking them back to our airbnb as the servers didn't give us any napkins and had disappeared to the back to make some pizzas, presumably. The sandwiches were delicious but a tad heavy on the banana peppers. The paper they'd been wrapped in had also been cut and started leaking onto the table. The salads were great. I'm 74 years old and have probably eaten at least 1000 pizzas. This Pizza we had today fro m Marcos on Bulverde Rd. was the worst pizza I've ever had. I'd give it a Zero if there was one available in the ratings. It was delivered 20 minutes late (I live about 1/2 mile from them), it was cold, flat as a pancake, and had the taste of a day old, stale biscuit. We had company and this piece of crap pizza, which cost $34, is what we had to serve. I'll never buy another Marcos Pizza. read more

I give them 5 stars because the 4.5 food is pushed over the top by those rapid delivery and excellent customer service. Chances are your pizza will be ahead of schedule. My husband is/was a Domino's Die Hard but when we ordered a pizza with FRESH tomatoes, we received a pizza with canned squishy wet tomatoes that ruined the pie. I attempted to place an order on line with Marco's online but had issues with coupon. I called directly, spoke to a very nice & knowledgeable young man that took my order & suggested coupons that would work for our order. Best customer service over the phone & very willing to help. Everything was average. I ordered a thin veggie, regular pepperoni, cheese sticks and a philly sandwich. The thin crust comes cut on squares which I dislike because it makes the middle pieces hard to eat, but I didn't discount for that. The pizza could have been cooked a little longer. We eat pizza just about every week and have been for over 2 decades so we decided to try something new and Marco's was nearby. Ordered their Med. Pepperoni for $6.99 and was pretty disappointed because it was dry with very little sauce. Decided to try again and order it with double sauce, that was the ticket. We've been back numerous times and was always charged $7.58 with the DS. Today I went in and the price was $9+ because I was told they charge $1.50 extra for the double sauce which they consider an additional topping. I mentioned I've always be charged the $7.58 and Kevin remarks, "I'll tell you what, I'll give it to you for $9+" (can't remember the exact amount). I get it, that's apparently what the y charge and I assume the others had just given me a break or didn't know to charge extra and it's only a $1.50 right, so I left spent my money somewhere else. But here's the thing, it all boils down to customer service. The standard pizza just doesn't cut it, there was hardly any sauce on it and if I'm going to pay over $9 for a pizza, I can go anywhere and do that and there are 4 other pizza places a lot closer to me. What Kevin should have done was just said that's fine, and made the Pizza, but instead the owner of that establishment will now lose out on the purchase and profits of likely hundred's of pizza's during the coming year's over what probably what would have cost them less than 25 cents, A LITTLE EXTRA SAUCE.  So much for smart business practices...lol. read more

This is the most amazing gluten-free pizza in San Antonio!! My youngest son and I are allergic to wheat, and over the last 10 years, we've tried almost every pizza place in town that has a gluten-free crust, and Marco's is BY FAR the best (gluten-free or regular)!!!! The crust is actually like real New York pizza crust. Their sauce is tasty, and they don't go overboard with it. The toppings are always generous, and they really cheese it up. The prices are great, and of the dozen or so times we've ordered, they've always delivered faster than they said they would, and every order is hot and perfect!! I had a coupon so decided to try them and I am so glad I did! I wanted to try this location because they have curbside service. We ordered the xl the works pizza with extra cheese and original crust. When they placed the pizza in my car the smell made my mouth water. They got everything on the order right and my husband was impressed with the amount of toppings. They did not skimp on anything. We had pizza left over for today and the smell and taste were just as delicious the second time around. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Ordered on Yelp for delivery. Food was fast and delicious! I ordered the Greek salad my husband had the Hawaiian pizza. Both were so good we ate all of it in one setting. Taste wise it is a 5 star, I have food allergies and have an order that requires removal of some "standard" toppings. That was the only drawback, my salad was not to order.
