Awe man the pizza quality has gone down hill. I really used to enjoy HEB Pizza but I have no idea what happened. I will say the service is fairly quick but the location threw me off. First and foremost, the pizza was delicious, and I don't mind driving a distance to get pizza for South Flo. All the employees are friendly and welcoming. Today, a specific employee, which I unfortunately didn't get her name. My only request was some parmesan cheese (which she should've asked if I wanted when she gave me the pizza), but that's okay. The young lady gave me six packets of parmesan cheese, and I asked for more; she gave me an attitude and asked how many more I wanted because you're only supposed to get three per large pizza. I politely told her it was okay and walked out. I know for some people, this is probably not that big of a deal, but it's frustrating to damn near have to beg for something that should be included when I buy pizza. read more

My husband likes their pizza, even the location downtown, but for some reason, it's not my favorite and I can't pinpoint why either. I've had their pizza several times and it certainly beats cheap pizza chains. It's great for the price. They're quick to have the order ready. Also it's located in the gas station, not the store, unlike the downtown location. We walked through the whole store before asking. Also I've thrown the pizza on the stove at home to get the crust a little crispier. I'll be eating here again, with their affordable prices, it's just not that great in my opinion. read more

Best pizza ever in my opinion. Blows every single main stream pizza place out of the water. It's so delicious, easy to order, easy to pick up, very affordable (pro tip: you get a free 2-liter if you order 2 large pizzas), the building itself is very clean and nice to be in. Service is always fast, friendly and I could go on and on. I've been coming here for like 6-7 months and it's always good, never wrong and always done in like 10 minutes no matter how many people are there. I love this place. H‑E‑B killed it! read more

Great place for a pizza fix! $10 for a large w/ unlimited toppings. That deal is unmatched for San Antonio. Staff is always polite and I've never had to wait very long for a pizza. Always tasted fresh. The crust is thin albeit not "crunchy" like one would imagine hence the reduction to a 4.5 star review. I will definitely be back. read more

I've been meaning to try this place out for a long time and finally decided we needed yummy pizza for dinner last night. Their prices are really reasonable from $7-$10 for a pizza, no matter the toppings. When I got my pizzas they looked super fresh and came with packets of Park and red pepper flakes. The pizza was really good, the crust is nice and thin so you don't feel overly full after one slice of the usually chain pizza places. I had just really hoped that the texture would be more crispy or have more of a crunch since it's thin. Other than that, excellent pizza and I'm definitely grabbing these again next time I'm at this HEB. read more

I was so incredibly excited when they built this location - my husband and I had been dropping by the S. Flores location for awhile but they've gotten so busy and popular during lunch hour that it's gotten hard to get in and out sometimes during our lunch hour, so YAY for a nearby dinner option! This one, tucked away in the gas station, is small but clean and very efficient. We've rarely waited more than 10 or 15 minutes, even when the line is several people deep. I'm also signed up for the coupons so periodically we get a few dollars off or even a free pizza - who's gonna argue with that?! Staff is always very friendly and confirms your order with you when you drop off your ticket, and I've never had any issues customizing my pie. My only complaint is that it seems like they don't cook the pizza quite long enough so the crust is always pretty flabby. I've gotten in the habit of requesting a couple extra minutes of cook time on my ticket but I think they're afraid of burning it so I'm not sure it actually gets that extra time to be "well done." Even so, the flavors are awesome and they're generous with toppings so sometimes we just pop a few slices in the air fryer to get that extra crisp on the crust before we eat. I've been here easily 3 dozen times. Employees have always been friendly and the pizza is thin and crispy. The only thing is that sometimes they don't put enough cheese and when you call just remind them and they'll gladly do it. You can never go wrong with anything from H.E.B.!!!!!! I am so glad they moved one close to my home. I used to meet a friend downtown for lunch to enjoy the slice of heaven but now I just drive to the local gas station. It takes about 8 minutes and the menu is simple. I tried to limited time spicy Hawaiian pizza. The crust is thin and crispy. The cheese is quality goodness and only $10!!! I hope they make a BBQ flavor since the H-E-B BBQ is equally amazing. I love pizza! I would've taken a picture but we literally finished it in 10 minutes... along with a bbq pork stuffed baked potato from H-E-B. read more
