He offered numerous different fabric, color, and fit options that suited what I had envisioned, and the result came out stunning. The thing that was unique to Mr. Kim's offering was that instead of buying a tuxedo I might wear just for one occasion, he was able to temporarily sew a layer of satin on top of my suit jacket lapels and take it off after my wedding. This allowed me to just buy one, high quality wool suit that I can keep, cherish, and wear for a lifetime!

He barely speaks English, but he is kind and sweet and wise. Not even once he missed a spot, suggested a wrong idea, showed off or felt pretentious. For me, he is a master of the craft. I've been around, I have known many tailors, and this man is one of my very favorites. He finishes pinning, and he leaves gracefully, leaving the wonder woman to finish the accounting. There is always a SRP. She always asks for when do you need the work. They have A LOT of work, and they have a back room where many people work. If you are in a hurry, they deliver, at an added percentage. If you pay cash, "Cash is King" (her own poetic words), you get a better price. Every time they delivered the work in time. You can try the fixed pieces, and he makes sure you feel great and happy. Every time, I felt cared for and respected, almost pampered. There is the son, too. Maybe more than one working at the back. The son I know is fun, respectful and kind. Every other team member who I knew were always efficient and nice to deal with. I'm almost hoping to have another clothing item to bring to them to work their magic. I highly recommend this experience. It's, hands down, one of my favorites in LA.

Finally, I took it in, tried it on and explained the issue. They explained that it would be $65 to alter and confirmed that's what I wanted since the cost of the shirt was so low. I confirmed and the work was done so quickly and expertly- the results absolutely blew my mind! I next took two pair of pants which needed the waists taken in and they were so perfectly done. And fast! So fast that when I went to pick up I had to double check that I had remembered the conversation correctly the first time.. thought I was losing it! (See attached text message.) The following still stands, my dry cleaning was done poorly and they refused to fix it that night. They offered to fix it after the fact. But why would I go back after I was repeatedly shouted at to "get the hell out", take my business elsewhere, and eventually threatening to be sued? The younger guy is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Calling customers and their comments "annoying", "condescending", and "nasty" isn't a good look. (See response below and attached text message.) At the end of the day life is way too short to be dragged into court to litigate two skirts and a jumpsuit. So congrats Jack you won, now leave me alone.

Had to give them a call just to make sure but once I was inside, it was an amazing experience with tons of vintage denim to browse. Shoutout to the amazing employees who were warm and answered all the questions I had. Originally was told it was going to take 2 weeks but the turn around was 4 days which was a nice surprise. The denim now hugs my waist perfectly and I look forward to wearing it for a long time!
