This tiny little spot off of Watson was pleasant surprise. It's not often you find Venezuelan food in middle GA. I went for an early dinner and it was not busy. It is counter service and there were several tables for patrons to sit and eat. The customer service was excellent and I got my food quickly. The food was ok. The empanada masa was bland and could use some salt in the mix. The filling was good but the dough was too thick so when it was fried the outside was crispy but the inside was doughy. The plate I got has several staples like arepas, yuca and platacones but there was a bland white sauce that I did not like on top. It was better with it scraped off. The sauces all seemed to be Mayo based and very bland. The steak was ok though a bit over cooked. At least it was seasoned. Unfortunately the chicken was not seasoned. The sausage was a Johnsonville sausage and not a real (spicy) chorizo as I had expected. I hope that they will make some minor adjustments to their seasoning, sauces and menu to bring out the traditional flavors of Venezuela. read more

Great addition to the Warner Robins dining scene. My son and I dined in on a Saturday evening and we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. He had the arroz con pollo, and I tried the arepa pabellon. We also had the tequenos (Venezuelan cheese sticks). Everything was fresh and filling. Staff was friendly. Dining room does not have a lot of seats/tables so you may have to wait for a bit depending on timing but Sabor Latino is worth a try! read more

Since I heard that a Venezuelan restaurant was going to open in Warner Robins, I was very excited. Visited the place yesterday with my husband and was very impressed. The lady who take care of us was very nice and very helpful. Make us feel very good there. We order the Parillada for two and it had more than enough food for the two of us. And it was great. The steak was cook perfectly and the chicken was juicy. And love that they give you three sauces to eat your fried items. I am really looking forward to go again to try the Bandeja Paisa. First time trying, got the Mojarra frita, tequenos, pabellon criollo and a chicharron. We liked the tequenos, the Tilapia was different from other Latin restaurants in that it was extremely salty and came with like a tartar sauce and coleslaw? I was expecting it to have some chili peppers, garlic and it was just fried fish. Nice sized but will get the mojarra from other places. The beef had some flavor but very dry. Well, I am sad to have to do this, but it has to be done. I was excited to see a Venezuelan restaurant here in Warner Robbins. I have been patronizing this place as soon as I discovered it. I had never eaten Venezuelan food before. And the food is good. It's a little pricey for what you get, but doable. When I went in today to pick up my Sancocho, they brought it out in a single, wide and shallow bowl, whereas before it was in two extra large Styrofoam cups. I thought they were going to bring out a second one, but when they didn't, I had to comment that it didn't look like near the same amount as before. (Turns out their usual containers were outside in storage.) The very sweet cashier called the owner up front and he came out and swore that the one container could hold as much as the two other containers. It was obviously not true. I asked him to show me using water. Instead he went back into the kitchen and shuffled some things around, then came back with a pot with a small amount of soup in it. He said, "You see? This is the difference." So he admitted it was less. He then poured the soup into two of the usual extra large cups someone had brought up, and the two cups were only filled half full. He said he always only fills the cups half full. This was a lie. I had already spent about 100 dollars at this place over the last month and had ordered Sancocho several times. The cups were always filled up, even spilling out in my car. Besides, why would they use giant cups then only fill them half full? I left but I did not want to go back to this restaurant because he was basically telling me I was crazy and I couldn't trust my own memory. I don't like being gaslit, lied to or being cheated. I decided to call him and give him a chance to apologize but he just doubled down. He went as far to say​,"Why don't you come down here and say that to my face?" (I had called him a liar.) He got so beligerant and threatening that I had to hang up before I lost my cool. I was recommending the place to my crew and planning on treating the entire crew, but now I'm done and I'm spreading the word. To abuse and attempt to humiliate or embarrass your customers and lie to them? Sorry, his business is going to fail, and he deserves it. He will treat others this way, and his reputation and bad attitude will ruin his business. Cooking good soup is not going to make up for it read more

The service was excellent, the food just ok! My husband ordered the bandeja paisa, the only thing he ate from that plate was the rice, the black beans & 2 tiny pieces of avocado, the steak was almost see through & a piece of pork that was so hard & a fried egg! Ah, forgot the cheap sausage! I ordered a cachapa which was too pricey, almost $16.00 dollars, not worth it! The place is too small, thank God we went when there were no people! The food was not hot, just warm! Just wanted to check the place out, didn't impress me at all! A place just to try once!
