Gotta get the Blood Orange "squeeze" margarita. It was perfect on the rocks with salt rim. The beef fajitas was like a righteous flank steak cooked to order--medium rare for me, then sliced. The crust of spices was awesome, the sauteed vegetables spot on. Then consider that they offered half black half refried beans. Good rice. And that side setup generous with cheese, sourcream and yummy guac. There was so much there I did not even touch the tortillas (your preference again of corn or flour). My son had a burrito and devoured it in one howl. I guess it was that good... The seating took up to 1 hour prior to my arrival. They had just cleared the waitlist so I am grateful to have been seated almost immediately without reservations on a Saturday night. Great attentive server who kept checking on me every few minutes while training another server. Chips and salsa were good. Might be nice to have some pico de gallo and hotter salsa options perhaps. But still an awesome option... dunno why the ratings are so much lower for a TexMex high volume place like this. read more

Coming it to Augusta past 9 oclock, options are not going to be on your side. Fast food, bar food were thought to be our only options. Until we found Margaritas, the joint opened till 1 am with a restaurant atmosphere. The architecture of the building is divine. A long 30 foot hallway entrance into the restaurant. Our waiter was kind, but seemed he had his head a bit in the clouds, he had mistaken 1 of our food orders, and 1 drink order. The steak fajitas were quite underwhelming to say the least. $25 dollars for a skimp 4 ounce if not even cut of overcooked steak? The peppers and onions also had a large amount of rancid oil residue. The serving sizes of the guacamole was also laughable. The only thing saving this restaurant from a 1 star review was the gorgeous architecture, can't say a word good about the food. absolutely terrible experience. i went and was racially discriminated by my server. I understand that this is a bold accusation to make but I wholeheartedly believe I was treated with prejudice. I was the only person of color in the establishment and as soon as I walked inside the waitress gave me a nasty look. While I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, she still managed to make sure to serve me last and was even rude to me when I attempted to order dessert. My companions were all white and she treated them with utmost respect. My companions even agreed that it felt as if she had some sort of bias. First - best restaurant with COVID protection I've visited so far. Sanitizer, floor markings and face mask requirements plus the table separation. Hostesses not afraid to ask patrons to put a mask on if they walk past all the signs announcing the requirement! Grabbed dinner to go as we headed home from camp. Decided to eat in the parking lot. 3/20/21 The manager was so rude that I won't even bother with the food review. We were told by one of the hostesses that there would be a 30 minute wait. After 35 minutes we ran back in to see how much longer. The manager said that he didn't know why they told us 30-minutes. When we asked about a further wait time he responded with "I have no idea how long it takes people to eat". We also witnessed him being Inappropriately rude to some older folks who had made a reservation. He could not find their reservation on the list. His attitude only changed when he realized that they indeed had one and he just didn't see it. It seems he feels as though his customers are a nuisance or a bother. I doubt we will return. read more

I came in for dinner tonight and the service was outstanding. Julia was our bartender and made sure all of our needs were met in a timely fashion and was very attentive. My family gathered here after my cousins wedding because it was located across the street from our hotel. When we walked in just before midnight they pointed out the one Asian person in our group and said their eyes were too low and they were stumbling around which was just false. They said they could not serve the group if this one person was with the party. It seemed like they just wanted an excuse to not serve that big of a party that late in the evening. It was total racist BS. The individual tried talking 1 on 1 to the manager at which point the manager said they couldn't see any reason they should be turned away but that once a waitress makes the accusation there is nothing the manager can do except enforce it. They would not even serve them club soda. We also made sure the owner knew we were probably the only ones there not driving because it's located on a highway and we were staying at the Hilton across the street. it was a very embarrassing event for the individual (who was sober) and should never have had to go through this racist event. management should be fired read more

went to this restaurant for a wedding after-party. at first I was identified as being intoxicated. when they realized I was sober, they then turned to my Asian younger brother, refused him service saying that he had "low eyes". he was not intoxicated. the entire wedding party could not be served until he left. this is embarrassing, racist and I will not be returning to margaritas because of this incident. the manager should be ashamed of his behavior. read more

Great dinner place walking distance from the Hampton Inn. Best veggie fajitas I've ever had: generous portion of fresh mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, corn & spinach all in a flavorful sauce plus 4 corn tortillas, rice, beans & all the fixings. Came out super sizzling hot! Hubby had 3 beef tacos & said they were delicious. Highly recommend! Very popular so expect a wait for a dining room table. Friendly and cosy, the restaurant is nicely appointed and the staff was attentive. I had the stuffed poblano which is only served on Friday and Saturday so felt it must be a specialty. Not so, same stuffed poblano you get everywhere else. (Possibly Sysco?). Margaritas were excellent. read more

Tried Margarita's again after getting a $20 gift card from the establishment. The guacamole was excellent, Fresh and tasty, actually some of the best I have had in a while. It came with two large chips. The unlimited chips and salsa was very good. The waiter Dick was excellent, fast, efficient and pleasant. Food came out piping hot right after we finished the guac. The cheese enchiladas were good, not too much flavor, but did have heat. My kids tacos came with one, but we got two, which was nice. Great atmosphere and nice hostess too. Love the decor.
