I was disappointed with our experience at Margaritaville. The biggest issue was the value. The prices were extremely high for what was served, and the food itself was very basic. To make matters worse, three different menu items that our group wanted to order were unavailable, which was frustrating. I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. It was decent, but definitely not worth the $32.99 price tag. Overall, the food was just average and didn't justify the cost. The one bright spot of our visit was our waitress, Nyasia (I apologize if I'm misspelling her name). This is in a prime location. Tons to do nearby and a great meeting place to gather with friends or family. That being said, there aren't a lot of positives from my experience. We had a party of 8 people, made a reservation. We were seated comfortably and in a timely manner. When ordering our drinks, they took a minute to arrive. They kept staggering the arrival of the drinks. We had to order another beer as the one given to our table was hot. Then the food... let's just say overpriced for food you can get cheaper and better. Chicken tenders for $25?! And then my friend ordered mash potatoes for her dish and her steak medium well. My family and myself are visiting GA for a baseball tournament. We saw that there was a Margaritaville and decided to go. We go in and it doesn't look hugely busy, you can see there's a good amount of empty tables and booths. The bar area was mainly busy. We had asked the hostess if we can have a booth, saw the hostess was going to sit us right next to the check in/greeting desk. We asked if we can be sat somewhere else since it's pretty close to the entrance, again there's a lot of empty tables and booths. Instead of doing so she immediately comes with an attitude and says "you asked for a booth so there's your booth" and jesters her hand to the table. Again, we asked if we can please sit somewhere else and tells us to hold on. As we're waiting the hostess that helped us goes to the other hostess at the check in table and says "they want another booth but let them wait I don't care". Immediately we should have left from that but we just finished a baseball game and we are hungry. After waiting 5ish minutes we finally got sat at another booth, we said thank you and instead of saying you're welcome we get scoffed at. We had asked another worker if we can please speak to a manager and surprise surprise never came at our tables. We order drinks and food...then one of the hostess that was at the check in comes to our table and asks how is everything so we asked again if we can please have a manager, this woman places both hands on the tables and with a snarky tone says "I'm the manager" (we knew she wasn't especially when her work outfit wasn't the proper attire). We let her know of the situation and she replies "thank you for that" and walks away. The food was okay, and the drinks we ordered not all the margarita ingredients were available due to FIFA being held around the city. Once we're about to pay we asked our waitress if said person was a manager (we pointed out who has came to our table). We went to this establishment during the FIFA World Cup and there was a small weight but it wasn't that long as they anticipated. I think they told us like 45 minutes and we only waited like 10 so that was great. The food was fresh and hot. my server was pretty busy so she didn't come as frequently as we wanted her too, but we did understand that it was the World Cup so we expected some delay the ambience is very nice. My husband and I went to the Margaritaville in downtown Atlanta for dinner. The staff made me feel special. The service and attitude of every staff member we came in contact with were superb. Our waiter was very professional and very friendly. We met the manager who was also extremely friendly and outgoing. We really enjoyed our visit here. Came here for dinner on our first night in Atlanta we just wanted something quick and close to our hotel. Our server Ryan was very nice and attentive he did a great job. Just understand that if you're going to Margaritaville to stay, they're going to try to talk you into doing certain things that are going to sell you on their timeshare just be prepared for it and if you show any interest at all, they're going to try to close you if they do and you say no be prepared for backlash because that's exactly what happened to me. They tried to make it right to service and giving us certain things, but the damage was already done. I didn't particularly care for the way they tried to close us on the timeshare, and I got upset, and the young man that was assisting us didn't do a good job of expressing to us. For a not so busy Tuesday mid afternoon there's no reason for such poor service. We're a family of7 with kids including a 1 year old,and we had to ask more than once for a high chair. The chicken smells and looks gross, and then they replaced their original side of pico with cheap salsa. The wings were super tasty, cooked all the through and flavorful. I wished I was given more ranch dressing for the amount of wings I was given. We asked for a to-go container!! Racial discrimination by manage "A.P" I will never go there again!!! Specifically, I observed behavior that I believe was discriminatory, including [I was not satisfied with my fish tacos as they arrived late and were cold. I expressed this to my server.I partially ate one and it was disgusting because the fish was cold. I was so famished that I ate the rice and beans while I was waiting for the server to come back with a response to my complaint. I was told since I ate the rice and beans that I had to pay for my order by Manager "A.P. When I walked to speak to the manager who was taking to another group of customers who also had a complaint about their food. When I got to where the manager "A.P was she told the other customers who had a complaint who happened to be (White) she told them that and i quote " We will pay for your food have a nice day ". But manager A.P told me that I still have to pay for my food. I feel that was in direct to my race as a Black male!!!! The area is very touristy part of Atlanta. This restaurant was not even on my radar until drove by and realized that I didn't know it would be on this side of town. Parking is always high so expect to park for at least $30 Food was cooked well. Customer service was a bit odd when arrived. Did not know where to sit as it looks like a wait to be seated. No one greeted us upon coming there. However ended up going to the bar and was treated 10x better. The place looks packed all the time. Felt so bad for the workers. I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time at Margaritaville Atlanta. The food came out looking like a child's happy meal... completely unacceptable in both presentation and quality. I didn't even touch it. When I politely addressed it, the manager came out with an immediate attitude... hands on her hips, dismissive, and clearly not interested in resolving anything. I calmly asked to just pay for my drinks and leave, and she initially told me "no"... as if my opinion of the food didn't matter. She then turned away, made comments within earshot, and told the waitress to charge us for drinks so we could leave. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable anywhere, especially at a place that represents a national brand. What made it worse was the clear difference in treatment. I left feeling like we were treated unfairly, and that's not something any customer should walk away with. I've already submitted a formal complaint to corporate and requested they review camera footage from the 4-5 PM timeframe. I also shared my experience on social media, and the response from others has been overwhelming... clearly, I'm not the only one who has had issues here. Customer service matters. Respect matters.
