It's a thrilling place, decor starts outside with an overhang of flowers, and inside - let's just say it lives up to its name. I highly recommend to go at night. They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. We had asked the hostess if we can have a booth, saw the hostess was going to sit us right next to the check in/greeting desk. We asked if we can be sat somewhere else since it's pretty close to the entrance, again there's a lot of empty tables and booths. Instead of doing so she immediately comes with an attitude and says "you asked for a booth so there's your booth" and jesters her hand to the table. Again, we asked if we can please sit somewhere else and tells us to hold on. As we're waiting the hostess that helped us goes to the other hostess at the check in table and says "they want another booth but let them wait I don't care". Immediately we should have left from that but we just finished a baseball game and we are hungry. After waiting 5ish minutes we finally got sat at another booth, we said thank you and instead of saying you're welcome we get scoffed at. We had asked another worker if we can please speak to a manager and surprise surprise never came at our tables. We order drinks and food...then one of the hostess that was at the check in comes to our table and asks how is everything so we asked again if we can please have a manager, this woman places both hands on the tables and with a snarky tone says "I'm the manager" (we knew she wasn't especially when her work outfit wasn't the proper attire). We let her know of the situation and she replies "thank you for that" and walks away. The food was okay, and the drinks we ordered not all the margarita ingredients were available due to FIFA being held around the city. Once we're about to pay we asked our waitress if said person was a manager (we pointed out who has came to our table). Our waitress tells us the woman has just started working there and is no way a manager, so not only is the hostess rude she's also a liar. Overall food was ok, waitress was lovely (honestly the nicest person there), but this location needs better onboard training or employees need to be reevaluated.

They specialize in rum based cocktails (and will publicly shame you if you order a vodka drink). Their menu was pretty huge and full of very interesting and fun looking drinks. The Big Willie D in particular was phenomenal and tasted like a coconutty White Russian. They also have a passport where if you try every drink on the menu you get access to their exclusive explorer's club menu. The staff added to the fun atmosphere by periodically making announcements and playing along with the crowd. You can tell that this is a very local, family owned business. A few things to note: -You MUST make a reservation and if you don't show up to that reservation you will have to pay a no-show fee. -You only get one hour in the bar per reservation. They rotate out the entire bar every hour on the hour. It's a fast paced but fun atmosphere. Defined not a sit back and relax type of cocktail lounge.
