    Deep Fried Pickle Chips
    Danielle P.

We went on a night they were doing DJ Trivia, it was packed and only a couple tables were open. We had to park down the street since it is a very tiny lot. The staff was friendly. For an appetizer we got fried pickles and they might be the best I've ever had. They were amazing, nice and crunchy and the sauce was very good too. For mains, I got a cup of French onion soup, which was good, nothing spectacular but still good. Lots of onion. The person I was with got the pizza burger which they absolutely loved. Both "buns" were mini pizzas. The fries were also very good, nice and crispy outside while soft inside. Overall, the food was good and the Trivia was very fun. I would recommend this place especially during Trivia night, and 100% will be back for the fried pickles.

Get here early for Friday Fish frys as there are limited tables and it does fill up fast. You can get a small for $15, medium $18 or a large $21 Fish fry. With fast and friendly service I received my large Fish fry.It included 2 two pieces of fish, fries, coleslaw , potato salad and a mac salad which was like oil based, and I like a creamier mayo based. It was hot and delish.Beware they do charge for extra tartar.Theres a bar if you just want to grab a beer or wine and plenty of street parking.

The Friday fish fry come in small $15, medium $18 and large $21 which has two pieces and is enough to share with someone.Thats what I choose. So with speedy service and a smile I got my order. The fish was tasty, the fries a little cold, the coleslaw was on the sweet side,it also had potato salad and a Mac salad I wish was a little creamier.Nice size bar to grab a cocktail. Come early cuz there's not many tables and you may wait a long time especially on Friday fish fry day.Street parking available. Also a side note they do charge for extra tartar sauce.

Look at the size of these wings!! Yum!!

Came here to check out the 50 cent wing nights on Wednesdays. Totally and 100% recommend the wings here. They were very large and cooked properly. They have about 10 different sauces and rubs to choose from including mango habanero! This time we got the regular hot.... Which wasn't too spicy. They were delicious! As usual, with wing nights expect that you will have to pay extra for the little things. Each blue cheese is extra, carrots and celery are extra, you have to buy a min of two drinks to get the wings deal, etc. But it's worth it in the end. This place is a neighborhood bar, nothing fancy about it, the bar area is full of regulars. The food menu looks great with reasonable pricing but there is something I have to mention because it is something that would unfortunately keep me from coming back. The bathrooms are located directly next to the tables in the dining room. Literally right next to a table. This is disgusting already, but you could smell urine throughout the entire room even sitting further away from it. It smelled like a kitty litter box. So bad that I actually got out of my seat twice to go close the bathroom door to try to get some nausea relief. If we come back, I will only stay and eat if we can get a seat at the bar area.

Excellent fish fry and sides. Small place. Small parking lot but street parking also. Great service. Very busy on a Friday night

Nice little bar in Drpew/Lancaster serving up homemade food. We have only been here once and ended up going on wing Wednesday for 0.60 wings (only hot, med and mild are 0.60). There is a $1 upcharge for specialty sauces and dry rubs. We ordered hot honey garlic and lemon pepper dry rub wings. Wings were good, although I would've liked a little more lemon pepper seasoning. Take note that blue cheese, celery & carrots are also extra $. The staff was very nice and service was quick. Will stop back again to try other menu items!

This place is amazing. Randomly showed up on FB feed, so we decided to give it a try. There were like 20 things I wanted to order. Decided to go with ribs. Thick, meaty, fall of the bone rack. They were amazing! Cole slaw was spot on too. Wife couldn't decide, so she gave the waitress the decision between BOW and Philly Cheesesteak. Came out with the cheesesteak and she loved it. Big fan of the French Onion soup too. Portions were great, comfortable atmosphere, prices were reasonable, and there is great variety on the menu and weekly specials. Waitress and owner Danielle were very friendly as well. Cute bar too. Gotta give this place a try. I'm going back soon.

This is the second time I've had a fish fry from my little margies. I really like that you have the option of choosing a small, medium or large fish portion. We went with two mediums. The fish itself was very large and meaty. Very good quality and I enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't really care for in this dish was the French fries it came with were undercooked and the sides were really runny. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the fish and this little restaurant is absolutely worth checking out. Im looking forward to coming into the restaurant once we reopen!

Shout out to literally the best place for wings in and around Buffalo! And they have the most amazing fish tacos! I'm so glad they still are open during the pandemic, you need to stop here for their wings or a fish fry! Checkout their Facebook for daily specials also! They make pick up so easy during this crazy time, support your locals restaurant!

It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). They have booth seating, counter seating for one (or two) and offer outdoor seating with a little picnic table, shaded area and they also accept cash/credit. On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. Portions are large and filling. I've also ordered take-out and picked up my order, the staff is super friendly and there's such an upbeat vibe to the place.

I had the taste for roast beef, because as of recent it's been very difficult to find a good roast beef sandwich. So French Pub it was. The reviews were decent, the parking lot packed and we decided why not. When you walk in, while you can tell this is a long standing community favorite. It's been here a long time and they seem to have quite a few regulars. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She made recommendations and was attentive. The restaurant was quite full and they were great about cleaning a table as soon as someone left. The ambiance reminded me a bit of a diner. I decided on the roast beef , my son chose chicken fingers and my daughter the French dip. We usually share bites when we are considering the same thing. I'm used to roast beef being undercooked with a little red and juicy and what i got was well done, dry and had no flavor. As some points the mean was a little to tough for me. I never finished the other half. The sandwich could have benefited with more meat. That ratio to the bread wasn't the best. In this case with the kind of beef it wouldn't have mattered, but in the future I would hope they create a better sandwich. My daughter had the same slight issue with the French dip. The sandwich was quite dry and overcooked. My son enjoyed his tenders. Overall it was a decent experience. We enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. The menu is quite extensive. Im sure there is something someone can find that they like.

I looked at my wife and said, "Let's do it, we'll try the fish fry!" So off we went. The special on the menu was grouper. My wife had her heart set on that. Unfortunately our very sweet waitress said (at 7:30 pm) that they were out of the grouper and breaded fish fry (my choice, lol). So our start was a little shaky! I forgot to mention that I loved the new opportunity to make a reservation (we called at 5:30 pm & got a 7:30 reservation for 4). Anyway, no worries, my wife ordered the cajun broiled fish fry & I the beer battered fish fry. Outstanding! The batter was perfect, not too much and the fish was flakey and delicious! The sides, cole slaw, mac salad and fries were excellent, not too much mayo, slaw was delicious as well. I was never much of a beer battered guy, always preferred the breaded fish--I can't wait to get the beer battered again. It was that good! My wife loved her dinner as well and so did our guests. My suggestion, maybe order a little more grouper, but honestly, I can't wait to go back and repeat exactly what I had! Great job by our waitress as well. My very first visit to Green Buffalo Pub, and unfortunately, it will also be my last…read more I live approximately two minutes away from Green Buffalo Pub, and this was actually my very first time going there. My neighbor who lives across the street had told me what an amazing bar it was and specifically raved about how good the wings were. She also met her husband there and told me since I was single, I should go check it out!! I decided to take her recommendation and finally give it a try. I was genuinely excited to try the Loganberry wings. I even recorded a video during my walk there. I was recording to make what I thought would be a great review. During my 2 minute walk to the bar I was talking about how excited I was to try the wings. I walked in expecting to have a good experience and hopefully find a new local place that I would enjoy coming back to. Everything went downhill the second I walked through the door. I was accompanied by my service dog, who was wearing her service vest and is licensed in Lancaster, NY. She was sitting quietly and safely in her stroller. She was completely under control and well behaved. She does and did not bark, bother anyone, damage anything, or cause any disruption. There is a specific reason she was in her stroller. She is trained to assist me. She provides calming assistance by laying on me and licking my hand or face to help ground and calm me. Having her positioned higher in her stroller allows her to perform these tasks more effectively when I need her assistance. She was right beside me, in a controlled environment, and was not causing a problem. The employee I spoke with, Jamie, who I have since learned is the new owner of Green Buffalo Pub, repeatedly told me, "She's a pet. She's a pet," while laughing after I explained that my dog was a service dog. I explained again that she was a service dog multiple times, yet Jamie continued to dismiss what I was telling her and laughed at me. She then demanded that I provide paperwork proving that my dog was a service dog. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, businesses cannot demand service animal certification, registration, licensing papers, or other documentation as a condition of entry. When it is not obvious that a dog is a service animal, staff are generally limited to two questions regarding whether the dog is required because of a disability and what work or task the dog has been trained to perform. My dog was not barking, aggressive, disruptive, damaging property, or having an accident. She was calm, controlled, and doing exactly what I needed her to do. And I have video documenting what happened. I have the video from my walk to the establishment, where I am genuinely excited and talking about trying their wings, as well as video from the interaction after I began recording when I was being denied access with my service dog. The contrast between those two videos speaks for itself. What should have been a quick trip to try some wings based on a neighbor's recommendation ended with me crying and bawling my eyes out the entire way home. I live two minutes away. I came there as a first time customer with every intention of making a great review of the food and potentially becoming a regular customer. Instead, I was laughed at, humiliated, and made to feel like I was doing something wrong simply because I needed my service dog with me. This was not about getting special treatment. It was about being treated with basic dignity, respect, and equal access. I am filing formal complaints with the appropriate agencies and preserving the video and documentation I have regarding this incident. I will never spend a dollar at Green Buffalo Pub, and I will not recommend this establishment to anyone. Jamie, as the new owner, I sincerely hope you take this seriously and educate yourself and your staff about the rights of people with disabilities and service animals. No one should have to walk into a neighborhood business excited to try the food and leave in tears because they were laughed at and denied access with their service dog. I walked in excited to try your Loganberry wings. I walked out without ever getting the chance to order them, and I walked home crying. That is an experience I will never forget! I go out of my way to write good reviews all the time for people to help them get raises and to help their business get more customers and this was just honestly a huge disappointment. (If you want to support a great restaurant/bar in Lancaster, go to SKOOB'S, great service and excellent food, and my service dog is welcome.)

Running a search on my…read moreYelp app for best restaurant for dinner, Skoob's Village Grille popped up and all-in-all, it was a good experience. I walked in around 7:20pm on a Wednesday night to a busy restaurant and bar. I had no issues with parking as I used one of the public parking lots near downtown and took a short walk over, but if tried to find a parking spot on the street, that would've been pretty difficult. I did see the parking lot for a, now closed for good, Rite Aid that had a few cars and some open spaces, so that seems to be an option as well. Upon walking in there was a host station, which said to wait for the host to seat you. Past the host station, there is a good-size bar and several high-top tables and chairs, a separate dining room with plenty of tables and chairs for families/larger groups, as well as an outdoor patio with more high tables and chairs. Plenty of TVs were hung up around the bar/restaurant and classic rock was playing over the speakers, but it wasn't too loud, you could carry a conversation with relative ease. The hostess was going to seat me but then a random couple came, ignoring the sign, and took it that table... The hostess managed to find me another high-top table by their outdoor patio entrance. After I was seated, I was forgotten about for nearly 15 minutes. I was about ready to get up and leave when one of the waitresses going in/out of the patio stopped by and asked if anyone was taking care of me. She apologized and immediately took my drink order. Once I got my drink, I was about ready to order dinner but was undecided, so I asked her what's the more popular item and went with it. The wait for my dinner was a bit long, nearly 40 minutes passed by the time my dinner was brought out - At this point, it was after 8pm. For dinner, I ordered their Chicken Finger Sub, with the fingers sauced in their "Jessie's Everything" specialty sauce (a small upcharge) and topped with bleu cheese served with a side of fries. The chicken finger sub was excellent! The chicken tenders were fried perfectly and there was the right amount of lettuce, tomato, red onion. The "Jessie's Everything" sauce was great - It wasn't too spicy-hot, the sauce reminded me of a banana pepper. The Constanzo roll with the tomatoes on the bottom did make this sub a little hard to eat as the filling kept sliding around and falling out the sides, but it was worth the mess! The fries were fine, nothing special. Looking over my bill, I thought the price for my dinner was reasonable for the quality and quantity I received. Skoob's Village Grille nails the vibe of being the bar in a small town where everyone goes to for a drink, classic bar food, and to relax with friends. If I have one nitpick, I think the service times need to be looked at and improved. But even with that nitpick, I'd come back and try one of their burgers or an order of chicken wings with one of their specialty sauces!

Jenn was our very patient waitress.

Our Daughter wanted to eat here for her birthday. There were…read more7 of us dining, I had made reservations for 4:30 and when we arrived in a timely manner, the table wasn't ready for us. The place was not busy, but I had heard that it could be especially on a friday. My husband and son both ordered a beer, the rest of us had water. My husband's beer was warm and My son's glass of beer had something unidentifiable on the inside of the glass. He told the waitress and she took the beer and got him another one, no apology offered. Husband wanted broiled fish, sorry 'broiler' not working. This was not mentioned prior to us placing our orders. Sorry to say but we were all pretty disappointed with the food that we had ordered. The battered fish fry was more batter than fish, as were the 'hand breaded chicken tenders'. Our DIL ordered the turkey club sandwich and only ate a few bites, said it wasn't good. Also, there was an automatic 20% charge due to 7 people dining. We usually tip 20% when the service is good, but not sure if this dining experience warranted it. Come to find out our son, had previously dined here on a 'wing' night and ended up getting sick soon after leaving the restaurant!! Needles to say, we won't be dining there again.
