Heard from friends they stopped by and liked this place. Today I checked it out and was not impressed. Food was ok, but not great. Service was sub par, waiter was either distracted or not interested in providing service. Ordered chicken tacos and got beef, sent it back and they redid the plate. Asked for a Modelo and got a Corona. Waited about 15 mins at the end of the visit on the bill, eventually we asked another waiter if he could ask our waiter to bring the bill. My family came in on 04/02/2024 to celebrate my uncle's birthday...to be fair...on most days, I would have given a review of 4.5 to 5 stars. We ordered the plate with Bacon wrapped shrimp and it was delicious...it also comes with rice and garnishments... we ordered and paid for extras. After receiving the check their were charges for an extra side of rice to accommodate the additional shrimp that I already paid for. Nickel and Diming at its finest....! This lovely little restaurant is homey and pleasant. The food was delicious. I had the beef nachos off the appetizer menu and my husband had beef and chicken enchiladas (they let him have a mixed plate even tho that wasn't on the menu). We both really enjoyed our food. We also had margaritas which were really good and sopapillas...so delicious!! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for simple and tasty Tex-mex. read more

We have eaten here several times and we order the same thing every time. We need to try other dishes I suppose but we really like what we order! Guacamole is out of this world. We always tell the waiter to make it in the kitchen rather than at the table because it's easier for the waiter. I have the beef quesadillas as my dinner and I end up taking some home. They are soooo good and filling. My husband orders the Tilapia and loves it. This last visit we were seated at the front of the restaurant and were quite pleased with how quiet it was in that spot. I always see this place driving by and I decided to come in today, so glad I did. Food was great they have awesome lunch specials from 11-2pm M-F happy hour from 11-6:30. I got two enchiladas and a sangria swirl. One of the best margaritas I've had in a while they have many options to choose from between drinks and food. The staff were very attentive and nice. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean the atmosphere and vibe was great!The restaurant wasn't that busy and my food came out within 10 minutes! Normally if a restaurant doesn't make their flour tortillas in house, I'm not going to go back. They are the exception. They make their corn tortillas in house and they are phenomenal. The service has always been great. It's a chill vibe but not awkwardly quiet. The prices are reasonable and the grilled poblano is INSANE. read more

Food was basic text mex. Had cheese enchilada with Caso sauce, which was good, but nothing special. The beef enchilada looked and tasted terrible. the refried beans and rice were good. The service was very good. Ambiance was very good - nice new place. The waiter brings a notepad for you to pay, and the tips default start out with 20%, 22% and 25%. Tips are getting ridiculous. Makes you feel like tips are required, even though there is an option for no tip. Because of this I left 11% and will not go back to this at best average place. Save your money for a good text mex restaurant that does not have outrageous prices and very outrageous tipping. read more

We were all very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was and how good the Margaritas were. You didn't have to price up to a better margarita. Their standard frozen was really good. The spicy jalapeño margarita was really good too. The fajitas were very well done with the steak tender and the chicken very flavorful. The veggie tacos were so good ..simple and "clean" not loaded with cheese or sauce. The burrito was huge and delicious. We definitely would recommend and bring friends back. Atmosphere is great. Menu prices are good, BUT there is a catch. 3 of us and they bring only 1 very small bowl of chips for the whole table. Waiter was scarce and finally took our order. Came back 5 minutes later to take it again because he had forgotten what we ordered. Food was really good with the exception of the dry chicken on the nachos my husband ordered. I had the fajitas and they were great, just really small portions on the pico, guac, cheese and sour cream. Barely enough to garnish 2 tortillas. I wish they would raise the prices a little and not be so stingy. Ended up leaving the queso we ordered since we had no chips.
