On Saturday December 17th, 2022, a couple showed up at my place for a deep cleaning and it was not a good job, it was a great job! This man and woman team simply did an outstanding job. What am I comparing this to? Well, over the course of many years I have hired many cleaning services that only became one-time jobs because their workmanship was only okay to bad. OMG! I love this husband and wife team. They are AMAZING. We had dust that has been collecting for many of years, greased billed up from frying, and soap scum from me doing a half ass job. Eiten and his wife, Maria cleaned in areas that I myself didn't even think of. They cleaned each corner, wipe down each light fixtures in our home, remove grease from our Stove that I couldn't, and our shower, tub, and toilets are SPOTLESS! Their price is reasonable. Nasty attitudes coupled with a last-minute no-show. Take your business to another provider who actually wants it. ETA: Point in fact, now I have the psycho business owner threatening me (see attached screen shot) and accusing me of harassing him even though the last attempt I made to contact him was 10 minutes after he no-showed me. (NOTE: Yelp took down the screenshot after "the Yelp community" [read: probably the business owner himself] flagged it and complained it "did not reflect the typical customer experience." That may be true, but it reflects MY customer experience, and I reckon I owe it to the Yelp community to provide proof of my claim. I used Maria's Cleaning for two years. They were great at first. But as the years progressed there scheduling has been quite a challenge to handle. I would always schedule my cleaning appointments online. Maria's Cleaning would always change the day, the time or change the day and time. I would have to accommodate to them on what time and day they could come. They would never accommodate to my requested days and times. The final straw was when I requested a cleaning 5 days before Christmas. I scheduled it several weeks before. They approved the day and time. The cleaning day came and a minute right before they were scheduled to arrive, I received a text that they weren't coming. This is the text what I received- Sorry for the late notice but Im very Struggle and overbooked with services and I cant do your service in that Area today... Very unprofessional. Needless to say I was very angered because I was expecting a cleaning that day right before the holiday. So I responded with a text back saying I was disappointed but wanted a free cleaning another day for the inconvenience. Well, needless to say I was turned down for a free cleaning, because of my demeanor and apparently my service area was getting too far for them. I think it was just plain awful how I was treated after using their services for two years and never once complained about their scheduling, or when the some of cleaning took 3+ hours. I paid on time and was always accommodating. I would suggest reconfiguring your service area boundaries if you are not wanting to drive to customers who live in the north suburbs like me or people who live way southwest like, Naperville and Joliet. After this experience I would not recommend this cleaning service. read more

Came within 10 minutes of appointment time with a 2 person team and guaranteed a 3 hour cleaning session. Even though it took longer than 3 hours then stayed a little extra to get the job done. The cleaners told me that initial cleaning sessions take longer than usual due to possible missed spots. So basically 6 person-hours of cleaning for the price I'd pay for 3 person-hours at most other places. Heck of a deal. read more

Customer service disaster. They cancelled my appointment 30 minutes before it was scheduled, after I had already paid them! They did not even give a reason for cancellation. I had to call and ask why they had cancelled on me, and they said they had other appointments. Why did they book my appointment days ago, with confirmation by email, if no one was going to available for service? How is that acceptable? Now I am left hanging without cleaning, and half an hours notice. I do not recommend using this business. read more

My first experience from a cleaning service (no Maria's) was not great, they only sent 1 person and cannot speak English and most of all my condo was not cleaned in its entirety. Maria's promised they will do better and not only they did better, they did the best. This place is completely unprofessional and a disgrace. I paid to have a deep cleaning done in September and upon arriving after the cleaner left my nothing seemed to be cleaned, the counters were not cleaned, the floorboards were untouched, the windows were dirty none of the blinds were clean, the washer and dryer room was untouched, there was dust and dirt in the counters and cabinets. I also told the company that the windows and window panes were not wiped down, to which they told me was not included in the service. Upon reviewing the contract it stated that cleaning of windows was included Upon asking for a refund the company, after sending photo documentation for the job that was not completed the blocked me and has not returned any of my phone calls. Do NOT use this company. They will STEAL your money and not be in contact. I want my money fully refunded for the cleaning job that was NOT completed. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the cleaning service I received from Etien and his wife. 1. They showed up 20 min late with no call or explanation. 2. There was still dirt and grime on several surfaces; bathroom counter, toilets, fans, kitchen floor, appliance handles, front of cabinets, bottom of inside of windows, back of stove, stovetop and burners (I could go on) 3. I noticed they hadn't done the fans when they came to tell me they were finished so I asked them to do them and they did one of 3 and didn't wipe down the blades. I heard them say, "That ones fine I don't see dust." Really?!? 4. I emailed them to ask them to rectify the situation by either trying the job again or refunding me some money and I got no response at all. I feel like advertising for a deep clean compared to what I actually got done in our new house makes their claim false. I would not recommend Maria's cleaning to anyone and will not hire them again. Beware! You get what you pay for here. I will admit I was impressed with how clean the inside of the oven door was done and the inside of the fridge but I felt the overall job could have been way better, esp after having read all her other great reviews. read more

I closed on my townhouse on Friday, and realized the inside of the home hadn't been cleaned in awhile once the previous owner's belongings had been moved out. The inside of the refrigerator had something spilled all over, and I was desperate to have it cleaned before my movers came on Sunday. They showed up ten minutes early to our scheduled appointment, face masks on, cleaning supplies in hand ready to go! They replied to me quickly, and were able to accommodate my schedule, and when I asked if they could come a little early they made it happen. They did a great job, and got done early.
