Just moved closer to this area and have found my go-to breakfast taco spot. Super authentic and the tacos are affordable and delicious. I will say that their flour tacos are larger than their corn, but that's a common theme most places. Not the fanciest place - definitely no frills, but who needs frills when the tacos are this good. Also added bonus that there's a donut shop next door if you want to mix/match

Great service a sweet older lady is running this thang just right! Food was out quickly and delicious.

I really, really enjoy hole-in-the-wall Mexican food places, so it didn't surprise me that this place reminded me of someone's back porch. I mean, there was a screen door with the push button lock and there were three porch chairs in the make-shift, cramped waiting area (where there were three chairs and this loud mouth hombre blanco sitting in the middle chair and talking on his cell phone). I ordered a beef fajita torta, with just beef fajita and chees, from the makeshift counter (combination buffet line, counter, and cashier's desk) then wound up walking over to the little dining area. Here I made a huge discovery: Fabric chairs are not good for hole-in-the-wall restaurants! They were supposed to be gray, but from years of spills, the seats were brown and black. YUK!!! Vinyl seats are so much easier to wipe down. The smell from my seat turned my stomach. I made my order to go! The lady in the back who was making the torta came out after a little while, called out my order, and I was looking for a pineapple Jarritos in the fridge, but they had more American sodas than they did Mexican. I went without. I couldn't figure out which of the order on the counter was mine, since there were two large bags and one small foil bag that said something about ribs on it. Ahh...that's my torta. Silly me! I paid the $2.50, got some green salsa, and left to eat in the confines of my much cleaner SUV. I opened the bag and staring back at me were two sandwiches. I was like, "jackpot!" I was disappointed, on closer inspection, to have - what seemed to be - two hamburger buns, smushed down and toasted on the grill, with the meat and cheese between them...along with what looked like chopped jalapenos or green peppers and onions. The meat was OK quality and I wound up picked the large chunks of fat out of each sandwich. OK, now for the taste. None! If it weren't for the weird, cactus like taste of the green salsa there would be no taste, what-so-ever! Quite disappointing. I saw all of the other reviews and was hoping for a home run. This was a mere base hit. Can't say that I'll be back. This is is the same meat and salsa used for the tacos...why comeback for that? Sheesh!

Delicious. Homemade. Affordable. A few words to describe Maria's Tacos N More! I ordered take out during this COVID-19 crisis, after searching for some local restaurants to support. I can't believe I haven't eaten here sooner! The staff was so kind and quick to make such delicious breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Support your local restaurants!

I drive out of my way whenever I can go get these tacos. They're smaller, but very well priced, and so authentic. I've got my entire office on this place because it's that good!

This little hole in the wall, my wife and i decided to come in for the first time today after the gym for breakfast, we both been eyeing this place out for a while now, as we walk into the place, my thought was "it could look nicer and cleaner" I still moved forward and ask where the menu was at because it wasn't visible like I would thought, I order bacon and eggs tacos to go, since it was 7:50 and they still had the patio chairs inside and really wasn't comfortable sitting down to eat my breakfast. I went on home and open my bag to find the salsa cup half full which seem kinda skimpy. How ever the first bit was full of bacon favor thru out the whole taco I had some hand full of breakfast tacos Thur our Harris and gTown and it's worth stoping by and keep on going, not your sit down and enjoy the morning breakfast joint

It's a crime that this place has no reviews. If you're looking for cheap tacos (especially breakfast tacos) in the Oak Forest area, this should be your first stop. You can sit down inside, but don't expect anything fancy; this is a greasy spoon/hole-in-the-wall type place. It's one step up from a taco truck without wheels. But the food is super-cheap and freshly-made. You can have a filling breakfast for $3. Their breakfast tacos have fluffy eggs, melted cheese, and big, thick flavorful chunks of bacon in a fluffy tortilla that seems like it must be handmade--for 99¢ each. I was a little disappointed by my chilaquiles; not bad, but it didn't really come together like I hoped. Then I remembered that it only cost $2.99 for chips, veggies, steak fajitas, rice, eggs, beans, and fresh salsa, and I was happy again.

I've been here twice with my husband. The first time, I had the chicken flautas and this morning I had the breakfast tacos. The flautas were not what I expected, corn tortillas stuffed with potatoes and fried then topped with chicken and caramelized onions. It came with shredded lettuce and tomato, sour cream and refried beans with cheese. The refried beans were watery and thin. The chicken was really greasy. My husband got some tacos and he really liked those. This morning, I wanted to go to breakfast and we decided to go here. I got two bacon, egg, and cheese tacos. They were pretty good. The corn tortilla was fluffy and light and stuffed with eggs. There were thick pieces of bacon. My first taco was really good. The second had a problem with the bacon. The bacon was tough and grisly. My husband got chilaquiles with beef fajita. It looked impressive, but he said that my tacos were better. The prices are pretty good for this place. The breakfast tacos are $0.99 each. My husband's chilaquiles were $2.99. This place is a hole in the wall joint. It's local for us so I would come back, but I would keep it simple by mostly ordering the tacos. My husband is more adventurous so I'll let him try different stuff.

Beef fajita taco and my tiny hand. Lol.

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
