Review (Fall 2022) I had an appointment with Tina, but when I arrived, she was with another client and told me her student would be taking me instead. Although I'm sure her student is talented, my appointment was specifically booked with Tina, and I was disappointed that this wasn't communicated ahead of time. I had been going to Tina for a few months and always booked simple clean-ups with no polish, still paying full price and leaving a tip each time. I drove 30 minutes to the salon and felt that my time and loyalty weren't respected. Tina later reached out and offered me a discount to make things right, but when I followed up by text, she stopped responding. Overall, I wish there had been better communication and follow-through, as the experience left me feeling disregarded as a returning customer. Thank you Tina and Yumi for your excellent services yesterday 11/3/23!!! Visited this place for the first time as a walk-in because the review was 5/5 stars and I was NOT disappointed. Tina was able to accomodate me for a gel mani/pedi and had me only wait for about 15 mins as they were still with a client so I went across the street for some coffee. There's a chocolate fish coffee roasters, a couple of small shops and restaurants and even a Trader Joe's. I love that this nail place is small, probably up to 2-3 clients at a time. Thanks again Yumi for the BEST feet/legs massages!!! At the end I was very happy with my mani/pedi and Tina even gave me a welcome gift; no other spa has ever given me a welcome gift before (even Four Seasons has never made me special like that before and I've been to a few of their fancy spas). I had three appointments prior to this incident. My appointment was at noon. I called an inform Tina I was running two minutes behind. I walked in and all 3 nail techs had a client. Tina was confused to my appointment time. I was told to have a seat on the small couch and wait. I had to remove pillows to sit down. I was sat in between someones belongings and the complimentary snacks. My nails were started right there. Not at the nail desk. My appointment was with Yumi and Tina wanted to take me instead (Tina was still finishing a set). I requested Yumi like my appointment. Another person had a manicure started at the nail desk by Yumi and I was left on the crowded couch with my hands in gloves. I'm not a walkin, I had an appointment! If I made an appointment why was I not at the nail desk but left on the waiting small couch with no privacy.
