Yes, yes, yes, this should be the standard for nail salons! I was very impressed with my pedicure, how calming and comfortable the atmosphere was, plus everyone was very nice and accommodating. They also had some clever pedicure options that I had never seen before, like a CBD pedicure. Easy parking and clean restrooms, always a plus. And they were keeping quite busy for a Saturday afternoon, which is a good sign. I am only around Sacramento once every 2-3 months but they are worth the extra cost, very clean, and this place rivals the nice nail salons in SF. I only wish they were open a few hours later on Saturdays. Lacquered Nail Salon is a really nice place to treat yourself to some self-care. read more

Everyone at Lacquered is wonderful and this is my first choice for manicures and pedicures whether I'm treating myself or getting polished up for an event. For extra special magic - I recommend a pedicure with Elvi and a manicure with Annabel. Elvi's massage is great and she's got a way with my wayward big toenail that always want to make trouble. Annabel's attention to cuticle detail and shaping leaves me with nails that last even though I'm hard on them. read more

I came in for the second time today and saw Shelby. She was my Nail technician both times. I highly recommend her. She is very detailed, very soft touch but don't let that make you think she doesn't get all the clean up done. She spent so much time and care on my calluses/rough skin. I had a toenail that was cut a little too far down on the side from a previous pedicure elsewhere and she took the time to file it down so it wasn't pushing into the side wall of my nail bed. When it comes to massage, finally someone who pays more attention to your actual foot rather than your calf. Maybe that personal preference but she focuses on the pads and arches. Pressure is what I would call medium. I opted for no polish this time because my feet looked so clean and perfect that she just did a buff and shine. But I do recall the first time when she did polish it was very perfect. She is quiet which I prefer very friendly when you do talk to her. The salon itself is very nice and clean. The rest of the staff is friendly and greets you right when you walk in. The pedicure chairs while stylish are not very comfortable, but not enough for me to give less stars over. read more

I thought I would make it thru this life time without leaving a review & continue to make excuses for businesses. Today, however, I made a visit to this nail salon. I like other customers like the simplicity of this nail salon & didn't mind paying the extra price for service, however it's just a basic pedicure. Nothing special. I get they are "green" whatever this is. ohhhhhhhh they conserve electricity, Howabout turn a light on. They advertise for this basic pedicure $55. Today the pedicure was $58 even though the price list on the wall says $55. The owner leaves it up to the nail techs to attempt to explain the increase. here's an idea just say there's a price increase. My tech was extremely uncomfortable explaining. I thought initially it was for debit card jacking like most places. It wasn't it's because it green. Hasn't it alway been green? this place today was not welcoming. No music, vibe was all wrong. It's seems to have lost its ump way to early. A constant annoying beeping & I had to tell them to put on some music. We can get this service anywhere. I get ur in east sac, but don't get lazy on your service & think your customers aren't worth a nice experience. My nail tech was great & glad she has other work option. If you're this cheap with your customers, I hate to think how your treat them. I will not be back. read more

I made an appointment for a gel manicure and regular pedicure since I was to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. The nail technicians at Lacquered Nail Salon were so kind and nice, and even willing to come in a little earlier just so I could get my nails done in plenty of time to hit the road for the wedding. I opted for a lighter pale pink since the color of my bridesmaid dress was hard to match well (olive green). The manicure was nice and relaxing - they have these comfy chairs you sit in for your manicure/pedicure that are nothing like the traditional pedicure chairs in other salons. There are pillows and blankets and plenty of cushion. Anyways, the manicure was simple and the nail technician did a great job shaping my nails exactly like I wanted them. For my pedicure, the other nail technician brought over a warm bin of water to place my feet in. Unlike other pedicures I've had, since this was just a bin of water, there weren't any jets or massaging with the water on my feet. They place the bin on top of a foot warming pad that vibrates but that's about it. Although the color on my fingers and toes were said to be the exact same color (same brand, same name), they came out slightly different. It wasn't too big of a deal since I was wearing closed toe shoes, but anyways. My biggest qualm with this quaint little salon was the price: for a manicure and pedicure, it cost $85. I didn't get the most expensive manicure/pedicure package, but I didn't get the cheapest either. I went with the "middle" package. Wow. This place is more of a splurge than a regular, weekly nail salon. read more

My first visit here and i already made a second appointment. I was so impressed with my manicure! I got a gel with artwork for Halloween. Every step of the way, Chong asked if I was happy with my nails or if there was something I wanted different, which I had never been asked that before. I showed some pictures before we got started and she did an excellent job! I treated myself and got the luxe manicure with all the treatments, masks, and lotions and i loved all of them. The honey mask felt really great and i love that they .ale all their stuff in house. It smells nice without being too perfume-y. This is honestly the best nail salon in Sacramento and the only one where I have received consistently excellent service many times. They are a little more expensive than other places, but their quality and professionalism shows. They actually talk to you and respect their customers, really trying to make it a relaxing experience. I also love the Zoya polish they use (lasts a long time!) They are extremely clean and now strictly follow Covid regulations. I just braved getting my first pedicure during Covid times and felt very safe. I would recommend to anyone in the area who is looking for exceptional service and quality manicure/pedicure. read more

I'm on the hunt for a go-to Sacramento nail salon and Lacquered had such high reviews that I was hopeful my search would end. However, I'm not 100% satisfied so the hunt continues... Pros: -the gel color selection was color coordinated and had the CUTEST selection of colors -the space was super modern and cute so it felt like a true pampering session -they used clean tools and let me keep the nail file and buffer -the nail techs really took their time and carefully painted each nail with extreme focus -plus me and my friend got to sit right next to each other so we could chat instead of yelling over to the next table. Cons: -parking is super limited to the front of the shop. Plus it was so hard to find in the dark because there was no lighted sign -my pinky got sliced by the nail file - the paint job was a bit lumpy and not even all the way through. Some fingers the pink isn't completely opaque. -BOTH me and my friend got chips on our fingers within 24 hours which for gels never happens to me - for a $40 gel manicure I expect perfection because of the higher price and I just didn't get close to that Sadly I probably won't be back bc of the steep price and the risk for so many imperfections. read more

Noemi 'till I die! As long as she is in the business of nails she will be my go to. The most relaxing time I experience is when I'm getting a mani/pedi. My favorite aspect of the salon is that it is simple it's it design. Clean floors, organized set up. They always have the best music playing on Pandora. They use Zoya and CND Shellac (for gel) and have an extensive color range. I'm never waiting too long when I arrive for an appointment and I'm always offered tea, coffee, water or wine. I would say you should make an apt, they have been booked solid every time I've been in. I have seen maybe one walk in get accepted. When you come in to receive a service you will see why they are booked like crazy. If you had to wait for a walk in apt vs. going some where that can service you quickly I would recommend waiting, it is absolutely worth your time. read more

I came here for a pedicure and a gel manicure a while back. Right when you walk in, it's got a clean, professional vibe, but not sterile. I had to wait a tiny bit, but I did have an appointment. When I was getting my nails done, the nail techs were easy to talk to and did a quality job. My manicure lasted for about 2-3 weeks and my pedicure lasted for longer. I've been to Lacquered Nail Salon two times and have had very mixed experiences. On my first visit to Lacquered, I had booked a "Lounge" pedicure with gel. Even though I had an appointment, my pedicurist was running 15 minutes late. I didn't feel that the "add on" massage met the description. I also had gel on my toes, and Lacquered's policy is to charge for gel removal if the gel was not applied at their salon. This is an $80 service ($55 pedicure + $25 gel add on for pedicure), so I assumed that gel removal would be included. Additionally, the salon's WiFi, while posted on its services blackboard, was down and had been "for a while." I expected my experience to overall be better than it was and was ultimately disappointed. I decided to give Lacquered a second try, and booked an "Essential" pedicure with gel with a different pedicurist. Overall, my experience on this visit was much better! My pedicurist was on time, the massage was much better, and I felt like I was paying the right price for the service I received ($65 - $40 pedicure + $25 gel add on). Overall, I will likely be back for a pedicure, but will be wary of Lacquered's uneven service. read more

This is my new favorite nail spa. The place is very well kept and clean. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I picked a polish and it wasn't really what I was expecting it to be and they changed it without fuss. I didn't once feel like they were rushing me. Also, I got a chip on one of my gel nails and they fixed it the next day again without fuss. It is a bit more expensive than the other salons I've been to, but I think it's well worth it. The product they use are more natural than what's typically used at other places. The online booking is also a great plus! read more

So, I never get my nails done-as a nurse I usually keep my nails short and boring. The rare times I do paint them I have my sister do them for me. I was getting married so I figured I should get my nails done. I didn't know this place existed but booked them because they are a 5 minute walk from my house. I had Hannah and she was fantastic I showed her a picture of the bridal nails I wanted and she did a great job! She helped me select the polishes. She was very meticulous and took her time which i appreciated! The store was very clean and I had a pleasant experience! I'm definitely coming back...maybe now I'll get regular manicures. read more

Wow! 5 Star ALL THE WAY! Drove here from Davis because there are NO decent, clean, professional nail salons/spas in Davis currently and I was eager to find a place where I could become a regular. Boy is this place 5 star worthy. Simple, but CLEAN, professional, nail techs are all dressed appropriately and are friendly and VERY good at what they do. My nails are beautiful, symmetrical, and feel good. The prices are completely reasonable given the professionalism and quality of the services. And they are CLEAN! You'd think that's a given but in this area the standards are pretty low sadly. 100% will be coming back, will gladly drive 25 minutes to come here, it's beyond worth it for the quality and service! I am visiting the area and did some research on a good nail salon and came across this place. Definitely make an appointment! I got an Essential mani w/ gel & an Essential pedi. Sabrina was great! In town on business and called the day before for an appointment. I had the Lounge Pedi with Christine. It was pleasant and enjoyable. Christine did a great job! She's so pleasant and nice. I love that the products in this shop are natural. I will chose non -chemicals any day! I enjoyed that there were also no chemical smells in the air from fake nails. I wasn't a fan of the chairs. I'm short. I had a hard time feeling relaxed with my legs having to stretch so far. I will come here again in the future. read more

I have found my go to nail salon! Elvi is fantastic and she even stayed late to do my nails. She is dedicated, very creative and did an amazing job. The decor here is modern and comfortable. You will sink into the pedicure chairs and never want to get up, haha. They have great services that are affordable, and there are also specials of the day posted on a white board when you walk in. I was so happy to find Lacquered nail salon and I'm even more excited their new, larger renovated space! I first went to Lacquered during my pregnancy because I needed a pedicure that used minimal harsh chemicals. Lacquered uses all natural and homemade body products, Zoya nail polish, and pregnancy safe cleaning products. Even if you're not pregnant, their method of service is great for you and the environment. I keep returning to Lacquered because the service is wonderful. I leave feeling so relaxed after a pedicure. I highly recommend making an appointment. They do accept walk-ins, but if you come in after work or during the weekend, it's going to be busy. read more

"Meh. I've experienced better." is very accurate. Parking is a challenge. Sketchy storefront. You walk into a "college" desk, nearly bumping the receptionist(?) chair. A very uncomfortable entry area. Unprofessional interior. Kind of a hodge-podge of add-on rooms. No real waiting area, unless you count the 2 chairs in front of their kitchen. What salon has a food kitchen, and open lunch all over a counter, in the middle of their salon. Just bizarre and didn't give a sense of cleanliness. And that was our view while we waited. No thank you. Spa, relaxing, soothing do not describe this location. We both felt customer service was lacking from the get-go, so for the above reasons, we did not move forward with their over-priced mani/pedis. Maybe the technicians are talented, but the atmosphere has a long way to go. I have a very hard time understanding the other reviews. Hello, awesomeness. I've been an East Sac resident for the better part of 40 years and have always been shocked by the lack of quality nail places. After my regular place changed ownership, I started a diligent search which spanned several months and (thankfully!) just ended today on Bear Flag Way. Called late afternoon on a weeknight and they were able to see me five minutes later! What a hidden gem this turned out to be - no surprise they were voted best nails on the A-List in 2016! Super clean, great color selection, cozy atmosphere and expert staff. I upgraded to get exfoliation and I'm glad I did. I'll definitely go back! Everyone deserves to be pampered sometimes...especially when you haven't had a pedicure since you were 10-ish! I've had some manicures before, though, at places where the experience wasn't great so I was very selective in choosing where to come for a pedicure. (Also getting married in November, so I was also scouting out a place for the wedding mani/pedi). Lacquered did not let me down and in fact exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is charming, stylish and soothing and the shop is super clean. Erica did my pedicure today and wow - it was amazing! I got the essential, which includes the exfoliating scrub (majorly needed!) and massage. Get both, you won't regret it. I was also on the quiet side today, after a rough week previously, and Erica was very accommodating of that. This doesn't seem to be a shop where anyone would feel pressured to chat, so I appreciated that. What else to say? Loved the colors (of the walls and nail polish options), cushy chairs (pedicure and waiting area alike), option to have coffee, tea or water, Pandora playing in the shop (but at a reasonable volume), and the friendly yet relaxed customer service. Prices are also very reasonable in my opinion - previous experiences at other shops were not as good yet were the same price if not slightly more expensive.
