Now, mind you, all of their food has always been good but our experience was amazing. Their prix fixe menu was well put together, wine pairings on point, dessert was also delicious. Although I've only been to the bakery a handful of times and I couldn't name the menu simply for the fact that it's primarily Spanish dishes, I can say with absolute certainty that the edibles are something to die for, as in right now I'd kill for some pastries, or I'd travel to the ends of the earth for just a bite. Or I could drop fancy food lingo and keep it simple like a bakery typically is by telling anyone who may be interested that the food is, in a word, delicious. That one word could sum up the countless metaphors and similes I conjure while I wish for a taste of some of that 'simple' bread that I've seen more then a few enjoy and heard more then several ask for by seconds. Not to mention this rare indulgence is within minutes of L. A. My advice. Ordered two pork tamales and 3 chocolate conchas. It was a little under $10. Went to pay with my credit card and was told there would be a 95¢ credit card charge. I thought this was illegal in California but oh well. Paid in cash. Btw, nowhere do they advertise this charge. Okay went home with my two tamales and conchas. When I opened the container the tamales were the size of a small tangerine. If you're hungry you're going to need at least 5. Ok moving forward, I was excited to try my two tiny tamales. Let me tell you they were so spicy I could only take two bites. The little I was able to taste was nothing to brag about. I would skip this place and find any other tamale place. I still didn't give up. Surely my conchas has to be good. I mean this is a bakery. Well..... they were cold and hard. Definitely not made today. I have been to this Bakery several times and I always have gotten great service. Barbara is always very nice and suggests their fresh breads and made while you wait natural juices. There is always people there getting their morning coffee and sweets before starting their day, most come in saying "good morning" the people behind the counter answer and call them by their names. The bakery is always very clean and workers use gloves to handle your food. Ordered everything all at once since the worker was playing cashier, waiter and host. It started to get busy so I did not want to wait any longer then I had to. Ordered a Margarita, Michelada, 7 Carne Asada Tacos, 6 El Pastor Tacos and 2 potato tacos. We were served Chips and Salsa as we waited. Our drinks arrived about 10 to 15 mins later and Tacos arrived 10 minutes after that. The Carne Asada was just ok. It was rather over cooked. The al pastor was better then the Carne asada. Potato tacos could of used some more flavor. So it was a hit and miss on the taste of the tacos being served. The salsa was tasty along with the chips that tasted fresh. The service was very slow. I am not knocking on our waitress. She was trying as the place started to fill up. She stayed calm as more customers started to come in. By the time we were done eating, about an hour or so later.. she finally received some help. I was relieved for her. Overall, this is a mom and pops restaurant. A family affair with their own children working in this restaurant. I wasn't to harsh on the service because I understood the pressure she was going through. Netti who was our server, waitress and host did her best to accommodate us. I really recommend staff management to support Taco Tuesdays accordingly. Lucky alot of the people in the restaurant were very patient with the service being provided. They could use some work on this subject I recommend supporting this family restaurant. I will try to order other things on the menu next time.

Stopped in around 3pm on Saturday and picked up a cinnamon roll and a cake donut. The cake donut…read morewas amazing. My wife is Cambodian and the Cambodian people rule the donut world. This place and most quality donut shops are run by Cambodians and they know this business so well. Suffice to say after 28 years of marriage she has taught me what makes for good donuts. Both donuts were great and the cake donut was the best ever. Think about it, this donut was made in the early morning and I ate it at 3pm in the afternoon and it was crispy on the outside, pillowy on the inside with a perfect amount of icing. I think I've discovered their secret ingredient--a touch of Miracle Whip (and maybe a pinch of MSG, though I can't prove that one). Whatever it is, it makes everything absolutely delicious. In fact, I recently ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese, and bell peppers. To my surprise, I detected that hint of Miracle Whip, and wow--that burrito was so good I didn't even need salsa. I love this place!
