Their warranty on work done was another key factor. An electrician found a dead rat and droppings in the attic, so I needed clean up and rodent proofing. In the crawl space, a bunch of the ducts were unattached by wear and tear and plumbing work that had been done in the past (which I didn't know. No wonder my gas bill was so high over the winter!). Shannon and team cleaned everything up, sanitized, reattached the ducts and rodent proofed the whole house on the outside. Apparently the attic was vulnerable, as prior owners' foam had been chewed through in the eaves. After they were done they set traps which will be checked every few weeks. I will update if there are any further rodents but I am confident in the work by the company and team. I highly recommend this family owned company.

The guy who came out was on time, a bit eccentric and very passionate about rats. He was detail oriented and did a great job explaining the job and its breakdown. Unfortunately on the day of the job, we had 4 guys come to our home on time- but none of them spoke English. Now, I appreciate them coming out, but we just could not communicate and they did not have work trucks or shirts with their company name. An hour later, we had a younger guy show up and he spoke English. The crew worked really fast, did a nasty job of removing our rodent infested insulation and put in new insulation, they mixed concrete and patched up some holes as well and put out rat traps. They came back twice to check the traps and removed them. I think they did a good job, appreciate their punctuality. But management should always send someone who speaks some English and provide a company truck or at least shirts. I personally felt uncomfortable letting into my home a group of random men with no identification.

They were even starting to take over my home office, which was completely unacceptable. I fully expected a reply in a couple of hours and a service appointment a few days out. Instead, Mark got back to me within 15 minutes and had a technician at my door in less than two hours. I couldn't believe it--who bends over backwards like that these days? The technician arrived promptly, tackled the problem areas, and was incredibly professional. A few days later, some ants popped up in an adjacent area. I'm not really much of a hater, in the right circumstances I mostly go-along get-along. But do me…read moreno wrong because I can be world-class in the hate department, which brings me to my feelings about insects. Not butterflies and other vegetarians, just the ones that bite, sting or dine on your bodily fluids. Among these parasitic carnivores few are as detestable as fleas. It's something of a toss-up though, in the light heavyweight league which includes mosquitoes ticks chiggers bedbugs lice etc. Tiny, irritating, hard to be rid of once they've moved in. There is a true heavyweight insect division, however, creatures far worse. One so vile I hate to admit having ever contracted them, and more than once. I wonder if you've made the acquaintance yourself of the most terrible, miserable insect of them all... the scabies mite. You get these, quite frankly, by sleeping around however the circumstance with strange and perhaps only vaguely known persons. There, I've said it so now you know, or you already knew from personal experience. But enough of this ramble and on to why I advise you to contact Rich Love if you have an insect problem outside your home. Rich does a lot of work on large properties and farms, but certainly will take care of smaller sites as well. My own yard isn't large, but I had a bigtime invasion of fleas. They arrived on the raccoon that I have kindly allowed to live under my back deck during May/June to raise her brood. But these fleas got desperate when their host, "my" raccoon, left. After that, they somehow creeped into my house, likely crawling through the small airgap under my backdoor. I have dealt with fleas inside, but not when they keep reappearing. I quickly realized the damned things were all over my property and wanted me for their new food supply. This meant no more mr niceguy, time to get professional help. I like people who know agriculture, they're used to dealing with a variety of issues that need to be addressed asap before they get out of control. Rich Love is definitely qualified to deal with insect invasions whether they're in your yard, small orchard or vineyard. He came the morning after I called him, examined the problem with a professional eye, and within half an hour had done the work at a very reasonable rate. My flea problem is now history. They worked with us to customize their work to our coastal climate and were very transparent about exactly what materials they would be using (all top of the line, industral-grade!). I have pets and toddlers and they took my concerns about chemical disinfects seriously and offered several options to make sure I was comfortable with what was used in our home.
