What a great spot that is overlooking the town and yet you are still able to enjoy those Mountain View's. Food was good, we ordered the bbq pulled pork flat bread. Staff is really friendly. They had someone playing live music, he was really good. The night was a vibe.

We had the salmon sandwich and a side salad- it came on a thick toast. It was good but not a re-do for us. The unsweeten tea had a dirty water taste. Waitress was awesome neat little bar to look out over the train station and town.

We came here for a Pride Event and the atmosphere was so so relaxed and the service was amazing. We didn't stay for any food but the Old Fashioned's were top notch. Great views, great service. What more do you need?

Rooftop Bar and restaurant at the Hampton Inn Blue Ridge. We stopped in there for a post-dinner drink. There is outdoor seating, so fire pits would add a lot... Service was good, and our drinks were well prepared. This spot is unexpectedly nice for a Hampton property.

We ordered the tinga tacos, carnitas tacos and the Hook and Eye burger. Didn't get a pic of food, but the burger is HUGE! Three Pattie's and loaded in deliciousness. So very good. We dined with a 7 year old, and the menu didn't have a kids menu, but we made do! The Apple Jacks mule is a sweeter mule, with a nice little kick of spice! Laid back ambiance.

Great views, awesome staff and fair prices. If you are staying at the Hampton be sure to visit the 5th floor for an afternoon or evening drink.

All I can say is wow! The view is simply amazing. I can honestly say this is the best spot in blue ridge. It's nestled on the 5th floor of the Hampton inn with a rooftop patio. The service is outstanding to say the least. The food.....man the food is like a little slice of heaven with heavy gas to follow. But super tasty to say the least. So let that belt loop loose a couple of notches and enjoy the view while you drink & indulge yourself! Y'all ask for Bonnie! She is absolutely amazing! She will take your experience above & beyond!

Everything was bad. For starters, we all laughed when the nachos came out. I mean, that was something I would see at a baseball game. Especially for the nachos being $17, they were just Terrible! The tacos also came with the sad nacho chips, and the tortillas were too thick for the amount of filling. The Caesar salad was underdressed and the whenever I asked for extra dressing, the dressing wasn't even great.

    Live music.

We started with the shrimp and scallop fondue, which sounded so much better than it tasted, and the toasted bread it's served with was heavily salted and not enjoyable. My friends had the ribeye and said it was mediocre. I had the shrimp biscuit and only ate a few bites. The BBQ sauce was heavily salted and not pleasant, and the cheddar cheese just seemed like it didn't belong. As a cheese lover, this is the first time in over 60 decades that I've actually removed the cheese from a dish. I took the leftovers with me since I hate wasting food and ate the biscuit with some butter and the shrimp by themselves the next day. It still wasn't very good, but at least I didn't waste it. On the plus side, the cinnamon rolls were absolute delicious and were a bargain at $8 for six! They were the highlight of our meal. We also enjoyed the creme brûlée very much. Since the restaurant is pricey and so many of the dishes were a disappointment, we all agreed that we probably won't return to give it another try. We don't want to risk spending that much money again on a not-so-great meal.

The gal behind the counter was very prompt and courteous and answered my questions about options on the menu. There is a big stove across the bar so you can see some of the cooking that gets done. The only issue with that is the heat...I didn't want my frosty beer glass to warm up while I enjoyed one of their local brews. I'd rather sit away from the cooking action. I ordered the crab cakes which came with coleslaw. The crab cakes had a nice sauce decorating the top of each cake. I asked for more because the crab cakes were a bit more bread filled than crab filled. I know I am spoiled with west coast Dungeness crab as you get a lot of chunks and not well flaked blue crab, but I really was hoping for more crab than I got for the money. The coleslaw was just okay. It was a nice mayo based dressing but lacked a tangy/sweet combo that I just adore. I am not impressed enough to return.
