I would like to comment about this office. The doctor is terrific, nice and so Knowledgeable, I've been coming here for some time and I need to share that the lady that is up front (the receptionist) is never happy. This is what is perceived, never a real smile, never welcoming, it seems that we are a burden. She is only here a few days a week so why not be energized and/or at least pleasant. If she is so unhappy with the people that are providing for her then it's time to retire. She is the face of the office- so important to make people feel welcomed and show that she is happy to help and provide great customer service. When we no longer like our jobs - it shows ! Real Experience vs./Internet Outrage I've been a patient here for over 2.5 years, coming in like clockwork every 6 weeks, and some of these recent negative reviews truly baffled me. I've never witnessed any rudeness from the front desk--ever. Quite the opposite, actually. The woman at the desk has always been polite, professional, and low-key. There's no "group of girls" up front like one review implied--just one adult woman doing her job calmly and efficiently. This is not an office where they sugar-coat things or fake-smile you into overspending. It's a quiet, no-frills, respectful environment. If you're expecting cheerleader-level enthusiasm or someone to fluff your ego while swiping your credit card, this might not be the place for you. But if you want honest care without theatrics, I'd recommend this office without hesitation. Not every medical setting needs to feel like a customer service theme park. Some people confuse "not being chatty" with "being rude." That hasn't been my experience here, and I'd hate to see a solid office get misrepresented because a few people didn't get the exact vibe they were hoping for! read more

Great doctor and Great office staff! We went to 3 other orthodontist for my daughter and this doctor and office was the one we felt more welcoming and his price was the most correct he was not trying to abuse us $$$. I did read a lot of great reviews about this doctor and the one of the things I like the most was that people that were treated by him are now bringing their kids so I know he was a good doctor. Doctor Riccardi is very calm and he addressed my daughter dental challenging very well, he also assured me her problem would be fixed without having to do any extra on the side jobs (like extracting her wisdom teeth like the other orthodontics wanting me to do!!!) I go there now, its not good. The lady in front is not exactly rude but also not nice, very redundant. The person that usually tightens braces is kind of rude--not even kinda, they are pretty rude--,they are very dry and gives attitude. The main dentist guy (Dr. Ricciardi) is not any better either! He checks your teeth for about two minutes and then mumbles to the person who tightens your braces and then walks off. They have recommended to take off my braces so many times, despite my teeth not even being that straight, i had to tell them not to take off my braces. I do not recommend this place. I was supposed to have it for only about 1.5 years. Surprise Surprise, its been way more than a year and a half. Please do not come here, save your money; Find a better place. read more

Would not recommend! They took my son's braces off and I was shocked that they even let him leave with his teeth being messed up still! I had to fight to have them put back on. Dr only acknowledged that they didn't look right when I fought it. He was going to leave my kid with messed up teeth...horrible! It was like they just want to take your money and get you in and out. Never once felt like that gave a crap about me or my kid. Staff is sooooo unfriendly. They don't greet you, smile or even pretend to care that you are there. So rude! Even the Dr is not friendly. We sat in the waiting room by ourselves while no one was in the office but the Dr. Dr Riccardi walked right past us multiple times without even acknowledging us. I guess that's where his staff get it from. I hated going into their office because they are so unpleasant. Staff literally look miserable. Not a good atmosphere! My family has been coming to this orthodontist since the 90s from my cousins to aunt. Of course this was going to be my 1st choice for my 2 daughters. I was so happy with price and friendly staff, and most importantly a great orthodontist. Never issues of setting up appointments. My daughters are always very comfortable with Mr. Ricciardi. The staff are always very good about calling with appointment reminders. They also have a great payment plan. read more

I would give zero stars if I could I have had braces on my bottom teeth for 8years when quoted 18months they also messed up my retainer twice for my top teeth which led me to have to get braces a second time when I religiously wore my retainer anyways but the doctor still tried to blame me for it when I wore my retainer religiously On top of me posting my bad review on this dentist office the doctors wife or something mocked me by rating my review funny when honestly a nightmare!! Horrible,Horrible,Horrible! My daughter was quoted 1 Year and 1/2 here we are 5 years later and she has to go to another Orthodontist to get a whole new set of braces! She had diligencewith wearing rubber bands when needed. It was a special case but it was never addressed! Word of advice please check your original diagnosis and if it's not Matching up maybe it's time for review!! We had to be the ones to bring it to your attention time after time. Came here on a referral from my regular dentist. I have always been afraid of getting braces, but the staff was very welcoming and put my worries at ease. I shopped around for prices before coming here, and they had them all beat, so I didn't have to do any haggling (yes, I'm a cheapskate). The plan we agreed on went smoothly and as scheduled. I will forever send anyone who needs an orthodontist to Dr.Ricciardi. I got my braces put on by a different orthodontist and after a year with that ortho my jaw was completely shifted. I went to Dr.Ricciardi for a consult and still had my braces on from the previous doctor and he told me he could help. He totally fixed my teeth and I couldn't be happier with his work. The staffing is so unpleasant to deal with. The ladies in the front never smile or are ever gracious. As soon as I sign in it's almost feels like I am burden. When I call to make changes to my appointment so rude. Also the ladies in the back sooo unpleasant to deal with. I typical begin a conversation with "Good Morning" "How are you" "have a good day" no response. The dentist completely different story. I can see a smile even behind the mask. He will also occasionally crack a joke. We are in the middle of a pandemic be kind we need more nice people in this world. Dr. Ricciardi put braces on my teeth over 20 years ago and twice a year I go in to have my retainer adjusted. He has consistently been very professional for all these years. His staff is warm and friendly, especially Patty and Margaret up front. I rarely wait 5 minutes before Dr. R. is ready to see me. His office is decorated better than some living rooms I've been in and it's filled with whimsical props and zingers that reflex his sense of humor. Not fond of this place one bit. I discovered a great dentist and when looking for an orthodontist i should have done more research. No one is really nice there, even the dr seems like he just sits from one chair to the next without seeming a bit interested. What I greatly appreciated was his respect for my time - when I had an appt, the time was honored. They don't overbook there. During my consultation Dr. Ricciardi pointed out immediately that I was missing a tooth! I have been to the dentist for years and never has anyone told me that I was missing a tooth, but he spotted it immediately! He was very nice and very laid back. I had such a great experience there. I got 2 of my children braces from another dental office it was a nightmare with lots of overage charges. Came in for a first time orthodontic consultation today. Dr. Riccardi was super rude and out of touch with how to talk to his patients. He told me he could fix my teeth but couldn't do anything about the rest of me. The dentist also proceeded to call my family "sketchy" and "full of stories" when we were trying to explain why our previous orthodontic treatment was interrupted due to having to move several times in a short period of time. That's life, things come up! It's the orthodontist/dentist's job to make patients feel comfortable rather than guilting them about their previous dental care. He asked if we're in witness protection, umm what? We're there to sign a $4000+ contract, you'd think he would have made a better attempt at professionalism and kept the personal jokes to a minimum. Would not be able to handle this guy looming over my face for the next 2 years. Not impressed, not coming back, found his tone and mannerisms rather off-putting.
