I will be honest. I was seeking a mechanic on Google and decided to give this place a chance after reading the reviews. I took my car there last year for a check engine light (small EVAP leak). Before I went, I made sure to call and book an appointment, but I realized they couldn't give me a fixed time simply because the owner doesn't really have any type of schedule or organization. Whether overwhelmed or short-handed, he would still pick someone who just walked in by quickly estimating how much time he was going to spend on their car. This only creates frustration. ​Mind you, he said he would check what the issue was. I explained to him how far I lived; both times I went there, he didn't even bother offering me a seat (while other well-organized places have waiting rooms for customers, he wouldn't care if you froze). ​The first time, he said he visually checked the car and cleared the code, saying it didn't seem to be a problem. He told me it wasn't a big deal and that the car could be driven. He charged me $50 for that. I wasn't mad about the price, but I was very disappointed because I took a whole day off work to get the car fixed--not to have someone tell me to ignore a check engine light. I drove over 50 miles and the light popped up again. ​Fool me twice, that's my bad. I trusted his skills and came back last week. Again, I called days in advance to book, but he kept stuttering when I asked for an exact time; there is absolutely no planning, just 'walk in and give me your money.' I explained that I had already come in for the same issue. He said he would run a smoke test to seek out the leak. I drove all the way from Boston, and this dude left me rotting in the cold and wind outside, just like the first time. ​He ended up charging me $150 for the smoke test just to tell me he didn't see any leaks, didn't know what the problem was, and wasn't responsible for what other mechanics could have done to it. He is always on the defensive, which is very poor customer service. It killed me when I realized there were a few chairs inside. What would it cost him to be professional and offer me a seat while waiting for 4 hours in the cold? They don't care as long as the money comes in; the customer can go pour concrete. I understand he is the owner and probably short-handed, but it is no reason to treat people like sh*t and just pile up every car that comes in. ​Result: $200 gone just to rot in the cold and be told what I already knew, only to wait for the light to pop up again. A good, organized mechanic diagnoses and then fixes the issue. I literally got scammed. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. If you rely on reviews like I did, take a trip there and see how frustrating it can be. read more

I took my car to Mario car care to be fixed. I had a power steering problem, I paid Mario $250.00 to change the power steering line. He did not do this, he cut the rubber on both ends and placed a pipe to the right end to the left end. To have the fluid run back and forth to the power steering pump. Eventually, it gave out. He boobytrapped my car and got away with $250.00 dollars. He never fixed the car because the line was supposed to be replaced brand new. I have the video in my phone that will prove that this guy stole my $250.00 dollars. Job never done. He is dishonest, and I will never give him a dime of my money again. He has young kids working there, so he can pay them less and charge his customers. read more

I trust Mario and his Technicians to perform the best service and treat me with respect and fairness with my vehicles. They do an amazing job and always look after my best interest regarding what needs to be done. It's can be my Mercedes or Ferrari. My Brake job on my 2016 Mercedes S Class cost half the price from the dealer. And I know my car is taken car car from the owner himself. Just got my car back from Mercedes of Burlington. They wanted to charge $2200 for front brake job. Highway robbery. The car has only 29k miles. Mario did a fraction of the price the dealer would had charged. I own 6 vehicles and bring them over there for years now. He just did a great job inspecting and helping me out with my new 458 spider Ferrari. On some issues and installing a protective skirt on the front bumper. Nice clean shop. I recommend for sure to every on Mario working on my S Class Mercedes today. Saving $$$ by doing the brake job over here. Why go to the dealer. read more

I was initially referred to Mario's Car Car about 22-23 years ago by Muffler Man. Since being referred to Mario, I've never gone to another mechanic. He has done complex work from trouble shooting complicated wiring issues to things as simple as brakes and oil changes. He is reliable, honest, does excellent quality work in a timely fashion, and follows thru. One of the mechanics, Andre, has been there for years too and has been trained by the best! I've been to Mario's a few times. Him and his crew does excellent work. These guys are cool and they know what they're doing. I've had my brakes, suspension and engine issues resolved here. His prices are extremely fair. I trust and highly recommend them. read more

I went to Mario;s because the gear shift was stuck. He proceeded to explain to me what the issue is , how to fix it and suggested that I wait to see if its a recurring issue before I spend money replacing it. I was impressed that he was not focused on making money but on helping me. read more
