Keep in mind, this was for take-out only. I was in the area recently and we decided to get pizza and some garlic knots for take out. This place came recommended. Inside was clean and modernized. It didn't look like a traditional pizzeria in a lot of ways, but the taste is where it counts. The pizza was generally good. The garlic knots were excellent. I made it a point to take the menu if things were good to keep as an option the next time I'm in the area and I'm glad I did. The one behind the counter was friendly. There is plenty of parking and this place shares the space with other businesses. A good option for locals for sure. Not only is the food terrible but it's overpriced. My wife ordered a white pizza and wings and it was $63. No problem paying that if the food was actually edible. Tv e pizza was full of grease and cheap ingredients. The wings were fried in some type of weird breading and tasted disgusting. The food wound up going in the garbage because it was so gross. My wife was sick in the bathroom for the next 2 days after eating 1 slice of pizza. It's very sad considering their other locations are excellent. read more

Marios is my typically go to Pizza place. I have been to many of the locations and all have been consistently good. My favorite is the restaurant in Plainview on 635 Old Country Rd. They are a great place to go to grab a quick lunch. Very nicely decorated and the service is always fast and you can get in and out easily in an hour. The buffalo chicken pizza is excellent as is their greek salad with balsamic chicken. They also offer complementary garlic rolls with the bread which are also delicious. read more

This place is severely underrated. The food is above average, you can't beat the price on the specials and they are so friendly. They will get our business again and again. I loved the vodka sauce with mushrooms and onions in it and the garlic knots are phenomenal. My husband,my husband's grandparents, and I had a blind taste test and we all felt that Mario's has better pizza than Gino's Pizza. I was the only one that felt Grimaldi's pizza was better than both Mario's and Gino's pizza. Mario's has an awesome pizza sauce. I've given Mario's a try now for two Wednesday in a row. Last week I ordered a Caesar Salad Chicken wrap. It was the most saltiest thing I've eaten in a long time and it was filled with croutons. Today, January 26, I tried fresh mozzarella and tomato pizza. Also inedible. It took 10 minutes to heat up and was barely warm and the the crust tasted as if something prior had burned in the oven and all that foul stench was now in the crust, not to mention it was almost $6 for that one slice. I consider myself a pizza expert because I love pizza and I eat it all the time. I've tried many places on Long Island and Mario's of Seaford is the best. First of all - the ratios and amounts of everything (cheese/tomato sauce/crust) are perfectly balanced: The crust isn't too thick or too thin, it's perfect. The ratio of cheese to sauce is perfect. The cheese and sauce are spread to the perfect width to reach the edge so there's just the right amount of edge. Then the quality and taste of everything: great great sauce- not too much garlic not too much salt not too much sugar not overly seasoned - perfect balance of all flavors. And the cheese is delicious and they always use a lot while maintaining the perfect balance with the sauce. I've done pickup and delivery and always great. Nice staff. Just moved to the area and decided to try Marios. Restaurant looks clean, counter service was very quick and courteous. I ordered a vegetable slice, a margarita slice and a rice ball. Both slices were luke warm and the bottom crust was soft, the center was doughy and mushy, (very disappointing), I ate half of both and threw it out. The rice ball was very crisp on the outside, and after beginning in the oven a few minutes the inside wasn't that hot either. The rice seemed like it wasn't done, grainy and hard. Didn't finish it. Terrible!!! Stopped in for 2 slices the other day and they were horrible. It was obvious that the pie he cut my slices out of was a mistake our being that it was smaller and he cut it into 6 slices instead of 8. The middle of the pizza was looked like they dropped something on it. I go to locations all over the place and because of this visit and the fact that they would serve an inferior slice when they know it is wrong I will no longer patronize Marios anywhere. I ordered this evening through Grub-hub so I can't speak to the niceness of the staff. I ordered a gluten free pizza with sausage, meatball, spinach and black olives. What I didn't order was garlic! I am allergic to garlic. I suppose they cook the spinach with garlic is all that I can figure out. Anyway the dough was not cooked all the way thru and the middle of the pie was mushy. But the flavor was great. Probably bc of the garlic but in an hour I will be wracked by abdominal bloating and severe cramps. So it's definitely not worth it. This small pie ( the circumference of a dinner plate! ) cost me $28!! $5 of that was tip for the delivery driver bc he was very nice. And on time. I used to love this place, but the last few times I've ordered it has been major disappointments. I don't know who is in the kitchen but they are not cooks. The food is either drenched in oil, or covered in inedible red sauce. I had lasagna that looked cooked in the tin, came 20 minutes late, and looked like dog food and red sauce. I'm really disappointed, this place used to be good. I don't know if I will order again because of the last few disappointments. read more
