I visited today and ordered the Pulpo & Shrimp Tostada. I have to say, it was pretty average. In fact, I think Northgate's version is much better. I also ordered a lemonade, which tasted great, but I was shocked when I found out it was $19. I didn't realize it cost that much and ended up paying $40 for two lemonades. The service was good, and I have no complaints there. However, the tostada was $23 and wasn't very large for the price. Another downside was how loud the music was. It was difficult to have a conversation because you could barely hear the person sitting across from you. Overall, I don't think the food or prices justify another visit, so I won't be going back. read more

This visit was on Fathers Day and even though they had a long wait time it was well worth the wait. They have a waiting area inside in the back so that you can have drinks while you wait with a large big screen. Order your drinks at the bar no waitress to take your order. All around friendly helpful service willingness to help. Atmosphere makes you feel like your part of the family. Food is delicious goes with out saying. Shrimp cocktail, Shrimp Aguachilles Verdes, Shirmp Empanizadas, New York Steak tacos, Mango Margarita, Paloma. The entire family loved this place you could see the food coma in there faces. This actually happened my Lil Brother n'law tried the Shrimp Aguachiiles Verdes and his eyes rolled back with that first taste. This is my first time here, and OMG, everything from the decor, service, ambiance and food and drinks was TOP NOTCH!! Daniel, our server, was so warm and accommodating and knowledgeable. Everything we ordered blew us away! The ceviche mixta, the tacos sinaloense, and chicharron de pescado was FIRE!! You will not regret coming here! Also, the cocktails and dessert were amazing as well. We ordered the butter cake to end our delicious dinner and it did not disappoint! I was super excited to finally try this place. Wait time was not too bad and took us about 15 mins to be seated for a party of 4 on a Sunday afternoon. Waitress came over pretty quickly and asked us if we wanted drinks. We had a 3 year old with us so we asked what type of kid drinks did they have? Water , soda , orange juice and lemonade. I responded lemonade for the 3 year old. She brought out a huge lemonade I would say at least 24 ounces and I was charged 9.99 for a kid drink. Completely ridiculous. Since it was our first time we relied on the waitress food and drink suggestions. We got the mitotero ceviche and it was just ok. We ordered aguachile and that was quite good. We also had the Cocktail De camaron and that was terrible. It was so plain and had no flavor with very little shrimp. I felt myself having to flag the waitress down for crackers, mayo and ketchup. They only had tostadas at the table and didn't offer any additional options. Tostadas were very basic and not good. Food was over priced. I was not impressed and think this place is way over priced for a par seafood experience. And I honestly felt uncomfortable because they had so much security. Literally in front of our table. I'm giving it a 3 stars but I doubt I would ever come back. There is plenty of other seafood places at a much reasonable price with better quality food. read more

PHENOMENAL! My gf and I love Mexican food and during our recent LA trip we were in search of seafood. We had the aguachiles negro, tacos pulpo and a tostada. We also had the mineral water lemonade which paired perfectly. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. A HUGE shoutout to our server Andre who was super friendly and helpful!! Shrimp empanadas, hugs and kisses to the chef. My partner dislikes octopus, I offered, hoping he would decline. To my surprise, finished the whole thing. From the friendly Alondra hostess to our great server Eva. The pleasant music just barely playing in the background. The option of a high table or bench. So relaxing. Now to emphasize on the pulpo tostada. Full of perfect combined flavors , no need to add any of their other delicious sauce. Tostadas and salsa, also hit. Overall great place, vibe. Overall this place was nice, but i do think they can work on a few things! The shrimp sizes for the agua chile were very small, for the price, they need to be using bigger shrimp. My tostada the ceviche didn't taste good as well. The lemon was extremely bitter and past its prime and it made the whole ceviche taste bad. I did enjoy the drinks here though, they were all great and I recommend the Nemo and the Micheladas! Overall we thought the food was okay. The ambiance is great, perfect for a date night. Service was very friendly and they really tried to make you feel like family. Perhaps in the future I will try it again but for now, not returning. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place. The restaurant itself is nice and a nice option for a dinner or date. There were a lot of celebrations going on when we were there. To sum up my takeaway from this place... the food is good. However, you should come here for the ceviche. Everything else is good but standard. The seafood is fresh and good quality. My only complaint is that the aguachile sauces that I got on the side weren't really spicy but I suppose it's understandable for a restaurant like this. I also tried the camarones a la diabla. The mariscos were super fresh and delicious, and while the prices are a little high, it's pretty much what you'd expect for the quality. The vibe was awesome--there's a cool indoor bar and both indoor and outdoor seating, so it works for whatever mood you're in. Service was on point as well, shout out to our Brazilian server helping us out! Definitely family-friendly during the day and great for big groups celebrating any occasion, but I could see it being more of an adult scene at night.
