(POSITIVE) We had our reservations for a party of 16. We were seated within minutes of arriving, awesome! My first 15 minutes blew me away! It was my son's 14th B-day, the establishment looks really authentic! It took me back to restaurants in a beach town Mexico. Mariachi was on point! The ambiance was perfect! I'm looking around already planning who to bring, the next event, who I'm going to tell about this place! (NEGATIVE) After the first 15 minutes! Looking back now, this was the first red flag, our server didn't come to the table for about 30 minutes. My party was looking around also myself hoping we can get someone's attention! Finally, a server from another table noticed and asked if we had our order taken. He got our server to come and take our drink orders. After taking our order I let her know about the b-day boy and if they can get the staff to come out for him at the end of our meal. She said of course and that she was aware of the celebration. 2nd red flag, after serving our drinks she disappeared and didn't take our order. When she finally came back she asked if we wanted any appetizers. We said no, we would like to order our food. She disappeared again without taking the order. (FOOD) Finally, she returns takes the order, food comes out and everyone was looking at the plates infront of them kinda confused. I know what I was thinking, this is it?? The portions, the taste, the quality does not align with the price whatsoever!! I ordered their "house special " mixed drink. It barely had any liquor and it didn't even taste good. We finished our meal, we waited for the b-day celebration it never came. The server brought out the desert menu, everyone passed. Staff removed all the plates except our buckets of beer and drinks. We paid for everything. We finally ask the server if we can have the staff come out for the b-day boy because we see them going around to every table with a b-day doing the "bday show." And we want to hit the road. She said in order for the staff to come out perform we have to buy a desert or drink for the bday boy. I was thrown off by this because, we were not told that at all, and we had spent close to $1,000.00 at the table. The food, the drinks, and pictures we purchased. I told the waitress that we were going ahead and ordering a desert. She left we assumed to bring back the desert menu. When she came back she told us we had to leave because the next party had arrived and they needed the table. We asked for the manager. The festive mood was gone, been gone! My whole party could not believe what was going on. Manager sent out the party staff, they came to our table for 2 seconds and moved on to the next table! It was extremely rushed. Everyone was disappointed.
