Asada, carnitas, red snapper, shrimp diablo and cooked shrimp and fish ceviche or course guac and all the hot sauses
    Lisa G.

Omg this is the place. I found the Van Nuys location a few years ago looking for ceviche And it was great. Been coming to the Valley Glen location now for a year. Just as good with more seating and parking. The ceviche is my favorite in the world. Yes world. I'm mostly a Carnavoir but this is a mild cheat for me. Tacos wow asada And Carnitas with 1 tortilla. Asada plate no veggies. Fired Snapper is amazing too. Shrimp Diablo is wifeys favorite. Thanks for the great food and exception service by all the gals there. We are there 1-2 times a week. Don't forget the lobster when is season. Dean

So Sunday I got a couple of dishes from Mariscos Corona; the owner Joel always accommodate my needs! I got a most delicious shrimp and octopus ceviche: omg I do not eat tostadas but even just simply the ceviche alone was so great and fresh! I also got a grilled sea bass with a green salad and tomatoes on the side Well that is how the restaurant lost a star and only gets 4 stars: it was NOT GOOD: so dry and not to my taste, and really not cheap ($36) Oh well I ll try the place again, and hopefully with better choices

regular agua chile verde but i ordered this with callo de acha

The food is delicious no doubt but i didn't get what i ordered even though im definitely sure i paid for it. I ordered an aguachile with mango, and a aguachile verde con callo de acha. the mango aguachile was delicious and the aguachile was good but i didn't get the callo de acha. the bill was 71.32 and i gave the cashier $72 and she didn't give me my change or my receipt. i love to eat out and am a great tipper but if you tip yourself on left over coins, that's all you get from me. will try again because the food is so delicious but right now i do feel like i was robbed.

Fish tacos at this place are probably the worst fish tacos I have ever had. It has super slimy tilapia inside, chopped half cooked onion, some weird mayonnaise like sauce. I paid $20 for 3 tacos. I threw them away and in addition to all of this to go orders take forever. You are better off going to el pollo loco, honestly.

Always the friendliest staff when you walk in. For the last 3 years I've been getting my food "ceviches " at this place. Best operations, flavorful and the freshest. One of few places that I eat food from and feel good after. It's a small place with a big heart and great food. Had the mango ceviche today and was very happy.

5 Stars! This is for the Valley Glen location. Food & Drink: $$-The food here is absolutely amazing. The shrimp tacos are hands-down some of the best I've had perfectly cooked, flavorful, and always fresh. The shrimp burrito is hearty and satisfying, and the shrimp ceviche is refreshing and well-balanced. The shrimp cucaracha is unreal.bold, spicy, and packed with flavor. Their drinks are also tasty and refreshing, making them the perfect complement to the food. They are always consistent on taste! Ambiance-I really love the ambiance. It's welcoming, relaxed, and a great spot to enjoy a meal whether you're with friends or family. Great customer service always. Parking- Plenty of parking available, which makes visiting stress-free and convenient. Customer Service-The customer service is excellent, friendly, attentive, and consistent every time. If you love shrimp and great Mexican seafood, this place never disappoints. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Corona!

This was our 3rd visit and I finally figured out what to order that wasn't filled with onions - Quesadilla for the win! The service was good and the restaurant and restaurant were clean.

Waited for a waiter for 45 minutes after sitting Down. Worst customer service no napkins unless asked, no plates to eat out of. I canceled my order after waiting 25 minutes and left.

Upon arrival, the staff was happy to greet us and take us to a table. It wasn't very busy inside but it was simply decorated and nice. The menu was primarily in Spanish so luckily we had Spanish speaking friends with us. They offered a happy hour and chips and salsa! The salsa was fresh! What was even more fresh was the shrimp ceviche! Omg the BEST ceviche I've ever had! It wasn't "fishy" or slimy texture. It was fresh, citrusy and the perfect portion. I left very satisfied and would come back!

If you come here, expect to drop money. It is not cheap by any means; plates cost around 30 dollars, and a family platter will run you deep. That said, the food was good, but the wait was outrageous. We went for Father's Day, which we expected to have a wait, but when other big parties who arrived after you start getting their food first before your party, who arrived long before they did. That's an issue. The staff was okay, but on top of the crazy wait for your food to arrive, they rarely come around to assist you. Also, they nickel and dime you for everything. You want extra chips while you wait? That's an extra 3 dollars, do you want more soft drinks while you wait for the food you ordered an hour ago? Well, That's an extra few bucks, big parties? Extra few bucks, you want rice and beans with your order that most places already include in the plate? You have to pay for it, especially if you order the expensive parrillada plate for 4, which is already almost 200 bucks; you get no sides with it. The food is really good, don't get me wrong, but these prices, the whole nickel-and-dime you for everything, are just wild to me. I was wondering why the wait to get a table on Father's Day was so low, but now I know why. You will drop money here; be aware. If you're coming here because you saw the blow-up videos on TikTok or Instagram. Know that they don't mention the steep price you will pay. Food, yes, is really good, but is it that good? Also be aware that for whatever reason there are two areas to this place; if you get sat on the isolated side, you can't order alcohol because apparently that little area is not licensed... so you can't order a bomb michelada to go with your seafood. Talk about a bummer situation.

The store is clean, bright, and organized, and the woman who helped us was very sweet and even let us try a couple varieties before we made our decision. We ultimately went with the Siberian Sturgeon, which ran about 65 dollars before tax. It was just as she described: buttery, salty, not too strong of a fishy taste. Such a treat with crème fraiche, chives, and potato chips. I also bought a gorgeous spoon for $5! I would say to buy your accoutrements elsewhere (trader joe's is a hop, skip, and jump away) because things are slightly marked up. But for those specialty ingredients (the caviar), I think the prices are fair? This is the part where you take this review with a grain of salt. Apparently, costco sells the same size of caviar once in a while for like 53 dollars--so I dunno, seems fair to me.

The space is really quite large. I was happy to see there was a seafood counter with a display case of smoked fish, a couple of dips, aged beef. The guys were super friendly behind the counter. I spotted the cafe area where they serve coffees and teas - I made a note that I had to come back to try that. Back to the deli counter - they recommended I try the smoked sea bass since they don't get it in often so I took some of that and a smoked salmon collar. The hand roll bar was empty since it was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner. I promised the sushi chef there that I would return. So I went back today with a couple of friends. We sat at that hand roll bar and had the best hand rolls I've ever had. We ordered a la carte and I absolutely loved those creations - full of flavor, texture - unique and tantalizing! I'm curious to go back and try some of the other things on there like the burger? the shabu shabu? I can't wait to see how they serve those items. Their little market area is fascinating as well - with small bottles of soy sauce aged in bourbon barrels and other delicious sounding ingredients. I did end up taking home a shaker bottle of their house made furikake. Can't wait to try that! I'm so happy this is in the neighborhood. It's a great spot to introduce friends to and serves as inspiration for anyone who loves to cook.

I think I…read morewas a little hesitant because I had never tried this style of Hawaiian cuisine before, but I'm so glad we finally came. The service was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. To start I really loved the yellowtail crispy rice. It was one of the best versions I've ever had. The spicy yellowtail was perfectly seasoned, the crispy rice had the ideal texture, and the sauce, ikura, and finishing touches brought everything together beautifully. I also loved that they offered a 50/50 option with Spam crispy rice since that's my husband's favorite, so we both got exactly what we wanted. The tuna poki featured excellent quality fish, although the sauce wasn't my personal favorite. My husband absolutely loved it, though. The dumplings were another highlight and ended up being his favorite dish of the night. You could tell they were made fresh in-house, and the peas added a really nice balance. My only note was that the sauce leaned a little too heavily on the coconut flavor for my taste. For our entrée, we ordered the pan-fried snapper. I completely forgot to take a photo before we started serving ourselves, but it was beautifully cooked. It reminded me a bit of bronzino with its delicate, flaky texture. The fish itself was fantastic, although, similar to a few other dishes, the sauce wasn't quite what I'm used to. The warm rice pudding was also really tasty. My only complaint was that there wasn't enough actual rice pudding compared to all of the toppings because the flavor was so good. For reference, I'm someone who really doesn't enjoy Thai food, while my husband loves it. This isn't Thai food at all, but some of the sauces had coconut-forward flavor profiles that reminded me of flavors I typically don't gravitate toward. Even with that, I still genuinely enjoyed every dish we ordered, which says a lot about how well everything was prepared. There were dishes I'd absolutely order again, and others I'd probably swap out next time simply because there were so many interesting options on the menu. I also appreciated that the menu had plenty of seafood options, which was perfect since I've been trying to eat more fish. Everything we ordered was fresh and high quality. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It's on the smaller side, but it feels cozy rather than cramped. I also think it's a great place to come with a group because the portions are perfect for sharing, making it easy to try a variety of dishes. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back. Next time, I'd love to explore more of the menu because there were so many dishes that caught my eye.
