While I would normally rate this place higher, the person at the counter who took my order which I believe is named Veronica is not fit to be working. She was what I think high out of her mind and made the ordering process so frustrating. The food is good and thankfully she doesn't handle the food making process. The manager her should definitely send her home if she isn't even sober enough to hand over a drink. Usually the vibe is good but the stress of dealing with her put me and my family off. This place is great! If you love fish & are looking for a healthy quick meal this is your spot. Love how you can build your own flavors, sides and protein. Their selections are great and there is something for everyone. From observing a table next to us even the small ones were digging in and I love that so much not the typical chicken nuggets and mac n cheese but a healthy variety that they enjoyed as well. The bathrooms are very clean & spacious. The tables were very clean and great seating inside and outside wherever you wish to sit. There is a clean up area where you take your tray and leave your plate. When you order you can order on the huge tablet it's a bit tricky but gets the job done to get your order in or you can just order with the person that there as well. Absolutely disgusting. I watched the employee wear the same rubber gloves the entire time. Cleaning a dirty beverage machine, touching dirty rags, door handles and then handling food with those same gloves. Larger Hispanic gentleman, younger with glasses. A lovely franchise that boasts of high quality fish plates. This branch was not short of that and I was able to satisfy my hunger during lunch hours. The interior was clean and cool, perfect during the summer heat. I picked out the miso salmon bowl, which was a very reasonably-priced dish for one. It has grilled salmon, mixed greens, miso slaw, sliced avocado, quinoa-edamame rice, red & green onion, diced tomato, and black sesame seeds. The salmon was cooked perfectly; juicy still yet crispy on the edges. Sauce was added generously, which kept the plate blending perfectly together. My only concern is that there was no indication on the menu that this plate would be so spicy!! I couldn't eat through half of it without my mouth burning from the heat. Just something to note. Next time I'm curious on ordering something new, I'll ask the staff if it is spicy or not. The last time I tried it I wasn't a fan but I ended up having lunch here the other day, I didn't choose, but wow, it was a lot better than I remember!! This location was very clean, had a walk up kiosk to order, and the food was great. The calamari, although small in portion, was sooooo crispy and flavorful. Since we were in the area we wanted to shop, we gave CFG a chance. I had no idea it was so good and had healthy and tasty items. Service was fast and our orders were correct. The establishment was very clean and had some good tunes playing. I opted for their swai and salmon combo with tomato/feta salad and asparagus. I mean regular fast food doesn't offer asparagus....CFG is in a league all its own. My picky son wasn't hungry but I couldn't just let him sit and watch his dad and I feed our faces...so I got him fries. They were so good! Plenty of options at a great price are available. I went for the 3 piece fish and chips and was surprised by how massive the fish pieces were, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, exactly how you want it. The fries were solid, and I got a side of rice too, which ended up being a nice balance with the fried fish. Tartar sauce was on point, creamy, tangy, not too sweet. I'm usually not big on chains, but this one holds its own. Everything came out quick, and the staff was cool and efficient. Bonus points for the pineapple cream soda, which I wasn't expecting to like as much as I did, it's super refreshing and cuts through the heaviness of the meal in a good way. This place is great except on a Friday night. The food is delicious. Normally things are fine but tonight was a pretty lackluster experience as a customer. I fully realize that things get crazy around 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and it was really nice to see an expediter double checking every order but this is also the issue that there was only one expediter whom seemed trusted to do this job. I had checked in with the staff and my name already. As it was getting 10-15 minutes past my expected delivery time. I watched an order get placed on a shelf no name called -'d even though it already checked in and talked to a person and it ended up sitting there for 10 minutes and they didn't even have the sense to call out the name again when they packed it up. The chaos of this store was unmatched. They And then I had to go find my order number again and find it to come back up to get it so as long as you're eating here Monday to Thursday or Sunday afternoon, you'll be fine but stay away from here.
