I gave this place another chance but unfortunately still really unimpressed. I got their protein bowl for "free" in the app (really $6 cus I had to buy a drink), and it was 80% rice. I wish there was an option so sub the rice for salad at least because there is SO. MUCH. RICE. And it was not very flavourful. I ordered this bowl twice just to give them a really solid second chance but both times, I just ate the protein and left the rice alone. This place desparatelt needs an option to sub rice for. I have always LOVED this place, however, lately, the last few orders I got were really bad. I don't know if they changed their supplier or something but the quality in their chicken is near inedible. I always get the Avocado bowl with Chicken and sometimes I would eat it 2-3 times a week because the chicken was so delicious. But lately when I order it, the season is non existent and the quality of the chicken is just awful. It's chewy, dry, and it fees like I'm biting into chunky squishy ball like pieces. This was out first time to this location. The spot was easy to find and was neat and clean. The staff was super friendly and the wait time from ordering to getting our food seemed to be on par for any restarant that cooks meals such as this to order. The only "negative" we had was a transient person entering and trying to start an issue with the staff who were kindly asking her to be on her way. I was recently introduced to this restaurant and I really love their food and portions. I order the tilapia and boy it tastes great. They have very reasonable prices for their food. The bathrooms are very clean & spacious. The tables were very clean and great seating inside and outside wherever you wish to sit. There is a clean up area where you take your tray and leave your plate. When you order you can order on the huge tablet it's a bit tricky but gets the job done to get your order in or you can just order with the person that there as well. A lovely franchise that boasts of high quality fish plates. This branch was not short of that and I was able to satisfy my hunger during lunch hours. The interior was clean and cool, perfect during the summer heat. I picked out the miso salmon bowl, which was a very reasonably-priced dish for one. It has grilled salmon, mixed greens, miso slaw, sliced avocado, quinoa-edamame rice, red & green onion, diced tomato, and black sesame seeds. The salmon was cooked perfectly; juicy still yet crispy on the edges. Sauce was added generously, which kept the plate blending perfectly together. My only concern is that there was no indication on the menu that this plate would be so spicy!! I couldn't eat through half of it without my mouth burning from the heat. Just something to note. Next time I'm curious on ordering something new, I'll ask the staff if it is spicy or not. I went for the 3 piece fish and chips and was surprised by how massive the fish pieces were, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, exactly how you want it. The fries were solid, and I got a side of rice too, which ended up being a nice balance with the fried fish. Tartar sauce was on point, creamy, tangy, not too sweet. I'm usually not big on chains, but this one holds its own. Everything came out quick, and the staff was cool and efficient. Bonus points for the pineapple cream soda, which I wasn't expecting to like as much as I did, it's super refreshing and cuts through the heaviness of the meal in a good way. This place is great except on a Friday night. The food is delicious. Normally things are fine but tonight was a pretty lackluster experience as a customer. I fully realize that things get crazy around 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and it was really nice to see an expediter double checking every order but this is also the issue that there was only one expediter whom seemed trusted to do this job. I had checked in with the staff and my name already. As it was getting 10-15 minutes past my expected delivery time. I watched an order get placed on a shelf no name called -'d even though it already checked in and talked to a person and it ended up sitting there for 10 minutes and they didn't even have the sense to call out the name again when they packed it up. The chaos of this store was unmatched. They And then I had to go find my order number again and find it to come back up to get it so as long as you're eating here Monday to Thursday or Sunday afternoon, you'll be fine but stay away from here.
