Been here a couple times now, it's close by to work so it's convenient for us to stop by after work. They have a good selection of seafood as well as alcoholic drinks. It's bigger than their previous locations and they have music playing as well as TVs on. Service can be better, sometimes we have to call a waitress over when no one has checked up on us but other than that the food comes out quickly and fresh. read more

Great restaurant for mariscos! Food was great, ambiance was nice and the service provided was amazing! I think the logistics are still being figured out, the day we went they ran out of octopus for our plate. Although I would have loved to try the octopus, they said they compensated by adding more shrimp. Hopefully the inventory is re-analyzed and soon figured out. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience visiting and we enjoyed our food. Things we tried: Molcajete, oysters, burger, al pastor and carne asada tacos. read more

The BEST ceviche in Los Angeles. My family always gets fish, steak tacos and the shrimp Diablo. So yummy. The original Mariscos Corona is owned by the Dad and this newer one is owned by the son Joel. It super clean and the parking is easy. If you are looking for a place to have a larger gathering there is a separate space that can fit around 25 people. The prices are great. This review is based on take out alone! I called to place an order and was told it would be ready in 29 minutes. We showed up 20 minutes later and still had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes. We ordered a large campechana and diabla fries. For both we ended up paying a little over $50. Now the campechana was packed with octopus, shrimp & another shellfish. I can't complain there as the flavor was good and the portion was good. The diabla fries on the other side were a bit of a let down, there wasn't much to them. It was fries with cheese, hot sauce and shrimp. These I would not purchase again, I feel like they have better items on their menu. read more

Thabk you for the service, food it was more than what we expected honestly the best fish and shrimp tacos. I have been too many. Marisco places and this is hand down the best fish and shrimp tacos that I've ever had. They are made fresh when you arrive and the servers were great, and it didn't hurt that it was happy hour. I would definitely be coming back. You could tell that the chef is very talented and he make sure all the food comes out good ! Food is always bomb. Glad they finally opened a location with beer to enjoy with the delicious food. The service I wall say, always lacks. They don't check up on us I had to flag out girl down for water, extra napkins and she also forgot the tortillas which I had to ask for a second time. I literally ate all my fries waiting for the tortillas to come out so I can eat with my fish. The only thing bad about this place is always the service. I found out about Marisco Corona through a flyer in my mailbox and decided to give it a try since it's just a short walk away. I'm so glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and seated right away. The decor is modern, clean, and bright great ambiance for a casual meal. On my first visit, I ordered the fried fish tacos and shrimp cocktail both were fresh and full of flavor. Since then, I've been back four times, each time trying something new, and everything has been fantastic. My favorite dish by far is the Mar y Tierra tacos they're seriously next level. The only small downside is that the chairs aren't the most comfortable, and some prices are on the higher side (like $14 for guacamole), but honestly, the quality and freshness of the food make it worth it. I've been here a few times, so it's time to write a review. And when I say a few times, I mean since it's new ownership and makeover. I live in the neighborhood and I've been going to that location for a long time, and I have to say, the new management is amazing! I was skeptical at first because I liked the old management, but this is a lot better now :-) I usually go in there for breakfast and get rancheros, which is absolutely delicious. Lunch on the weekend the Menudo is bomb and so nourishing. Or for dinner the surf and Turf tacos is amazing! Can't go wrong if you like that combo. And the sauce that comes with is tasty! Also the chips and salsa they give you is fantastic, and I would recommend trying the Jamaica. Highly recommended these menu items and I would love to come back and try some ceviche! read more

Came in once for takeout and I was close to almost closing time and even with that, the young lady who welcomed me was so sweet and quick to allow me to sit on a table to take my time. I ordered the ceviche de camarón and cocktail de camarón and it was *chefs kiss*! The venue is very chill, very clean, and really elegant. I realized I loved their mariscos and not too long ago I ordered online.. they forgot an item once I got back to work but when I told them they were so chill about the situation and easily found a solution, even for the inconvenience. I have to say their food is delicious and their customer service is amazing. I guess I found my new seafood spot! read more

Unfortunately, this time the experience didn't quite meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad. My disappointment was more about the value and portion size for what I paid. Three slices of brisket, a small cup of pulled pork, and three small sides came to around $60. Not to mention, the pulled pork was rather dry. There were no dinner rolls or cornbread included either. I was also disappointed with how the food was packed for my to-go order. Proper packaging is important, especially when transporting food, because leaks can make a mess in your car or elsewhere. Unfortunately, the packaging did not seem secure enough to prevent that, and it did not add much value to the overall experience. For that price, especially after making a 20-mile drive, I expected either a more generous portion or something exceptional enough to justify the cost. If the price had been more reasonable, or the quantity better matched the price, I definitely would have considered coming back. Unfortunately, at $60 for what I received, it just wasn't worth the drive for me.

They don't do delivery nor do catering. However, you can pick up to go orders. I am being generous with the last star. Place was clean, food came out quick, and they had few parking spaces in the back. Not all restaurants have parking these days! No public restroom either. Will not be returning. There are a lot of other delicious restaurants that I would be more than HAPPY to give my business to. I just wasted $22.77, tax included. What a bummer!!

The food was delicious! They started us off with complimentary chips and salsa -- fresh, hot, and tasty. The next bite was the octopus. That's where the meal went bad. The octopus was super old , I knew it as soon as i took a bite. It was mushy and if you out fork through it would just turn to purée. It just messed up the entire meal. I didn't ordered anything else. Told the waitress but she just disregarded. Saw her tell The owner/cook. But think he just laughed it off.
