We just walked over to the door. All ready, I didn't like entering with a loud music, I asked to be seated where it's quieter. She said: she'll turn it down. It didn't seem like the music any quieter, so hubby asked her again, and she said: someone may have turned it back up, she would lower it again. The music did get quiet. (There were small children at the time). We ordered from extensive menu. I chose the Empanada de Camaron: 4 fried turnover Empanada stuffed with cheese, shrimp, and vegetable sofrito (mixed with aromatic ingredients then sautéed), accompanied with Mexican sauce. Hubby picked the Chile Relleno: Poblano chili pepper, stuffed with mixed cheese and potato, battered in whipped egg then deep-fried to a golden brown and bathed in delicious tomato sauce. Both were delicious! The relleno was served with rice pilaf with mixed vegetable, he said he didn't care too much for that. I only ate only one of my empanada, because I was filling up with my chips & enjoying my salsa, but I wasn't really hungry. I took the rest home, for later. I love the sauce! I told Adriana, and she said: Oh! You didn't want that? I tried to tell her: I'd like it to go. (I have a feeling we're having problem communicating, she's very nice, though). The service: We were talked to by 4-5 different servers who asked us how we were doing. One: I asked if I could have mild salsa sauce, and she said: No, those were the choices they all have. A few minutes later, I asked a bus boy, but he asked someone else (who spoke English), and he - Alexander - he delivered a warm salsa to our table. He came back again, to ask how it was. The 5th girl who showed up at our table, mentioned to her about our anniversary. Towards the end, we did get a complimentary flan (thank you), but both of our water glass were empty, and we didn't get a refill, we're done. The restroom were clean, and I love the decor of the restaurant, specially the fresh flowers on each table.

My Linner was a baja taco, one shrimp, one fish, M ordered the shrimp and cheese taco. I had to ask that the shrimp in our tacos would be shell off, our server confirmed, shell less. I asked because most of the photos on the menu show the shrimp with head, without head but all with shell on...I prefer not to fuss with peeling the just cooked hot shrimp. The guac was really fresh and good, the chips a bit over cooked. Then the drinks arrived and the entree's followed shortly there after Plain and simple three various taco's with some tasty refried & whole beans with your standard orange Spanish rice....hum. I guess it's a toss up on the rice, a unique almost Spanish rice with a flavor twist or the comfortable, household, everyday orange Spanish rice that won't scare anyone away. The taco's were great, fat with plenty of the larger shrimp (with no shell) cabbage and other stuff to fill the tortilla. We all enjoyed our meal and I would certainly entertain a return visit if we lived closer. Yes, you'll need to dust off your pidgin Spanish to help you order (we were the only customers who weren't fluent). But AMAZING Mexican seafood, really only equalled by Mi Lindo Nayarit in McMinville. They don't take reservations, but it's a very big place and even at 7pm on a Friday we were able to get a table right away. Be warned, though, that if your order goes in after any of the huge tables celebrating quinceañera you could wait a while. It's ok, it takes at least an hour to work through one of those margaritas anyways. Oh, and yeah, they have non-seafood items on the menu. No, you shouldn't order them. If you have a no-seafood person in your group, maybe skip it.
