This is not my yelp, The last time I came here, it was an El Salvadorian restaurant so it has been a long time. I came to get dinner, I was not sure about what I wanted. I love Mexican food but this was exceptional to an extant. I have been to many Mexican joints in and out side of Vallejo, Mexican American and Authentic. Chorizo is some is some of the best I ever had. It was a 5 star Chorizo. Pico De Gallo looked just how it suppose to look but did not taste like I thought it would, it was an acquired taste. Burrito was ok I thought that Chimichangas were always deep fried but it tasted good. Most of the time I want an Horchata, to me it's a traditional staple! I did not even want any Horchata this time but I love Horchata so, I felt like what the heck I'll go on and get an Horchata. I have never had a Horchata that tasted like this before, whoever made the Horchata did not taste it before deciding to serve it. The Horchata does not deserve even one star. For a guy who has spent considerable time in Mexico, let me tell you the Molcajete is just simply off the chain, steak was juicy, tender and well done, the chicken was perfectly braised into the sauce, and the prawns were killer, the sauce though was just absolutely delectable. I've order from here twice. The same plate chicken fajitas. The first time which was in February was a big portion of chicken with the usual bell peppers and onions a side of rice and beans. However I ordered again today and it was a much smaller portion and it was mixed with carrots broccoli and zucchini. Never have I ever had fajitas with carrots zucchini and broccoli. It was ok I ate it but disappointed it was not the same as the first time I ordered. Had I know I wouldn't have ordered this. I ordered through grub hub and that was fast and efficient. Food is unfucking believable!!!! The steak burrito and the surf and turf are my favorite thing to get so far. Orders are wrong more then half the time . For some reason it usually takes them 25-35 mins to make the food. Almost every other place I have been it takes 20 mins at the most for the food. I recommend door-dash pickup If you are doing take out. They randomly won't answer the phone for a half and hour. I haven't tried their cocktails before but they look amazing. Absolutely AMAZING!! Wanted to try something new and boy we were in for a treat! I've had seafood down in central America but this place has the SPICE and flavors down! I had the Vista del Mar and everything was cooked perfectly and I'm super picky with growing up in the PNW with parents in the fishing industry. Everything was amazing and everyone enjoyed their food even the hubby who went basic with an al pastor burrito who said it was his favorite ever! Loved the spice and also Friday's are karaoke nights apparently which is also awesome. Overall very impressed and will go back! read more

We gave it a try yesterday. Its a clean place, good music in the backgroud. I ordered a campechana, it was really small, it only had 5 shrimps for like 14.99, I think. It did have a good flavor tho. Service was slow, but the guy who works in the bar was friendly and attentive, the waitress wasn't. This is a new place, they have a variety of food in the menu, I should give this place 3 stars because the price and service, but since they barely starting, and I only tried one thing, its fair the 4 stars. read more

First time here and we had the shrimp coctel and shrimp burrito. The coctel was accompanied by tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, onions and cilantro. A very simple dish with loads of flavor. The burrito tasted like a shrimp fajita wrapped in a tortilla. They were both excellent! Service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend it. read more

I don't even know where to start. The staff is very friendly but the food is very very disappointing. I ordered take out on a Friday night. I asked for a steak and shrimp burrito, Aguachile with squid, and 6 tacos to go. When I got there and the waitress was checking everything she said they forgot to make 3 of the tacos, which is fine. I'm glad she checked. We ended up eating at the restaurant since we were really hungry. We opened everything up and noticed the agua chile was missing squid. I brought it to her attention since it is an expensive plate. Instead of making a new one the cook handed me a small bowl with squid. It looked old and dry. It didn't really taste like fresh squid. The texture was very off and it was soft like it had been sitting in the fridge for quite some time. It did not have any flavor to it since it was put on the side. Overall, the aguachile dish was very bland. I had to add more salt and lime. I know a good aguachile when I taste one and this one was not good. Then came the burrito. The burrito was very bland as well. They forgot to the steak and added very little shrimp. Our tacos were bland and the meat was very dry. I added salsa to make it taste better but you could just tell these cooks did not care or put any effort to our food. I've came here before maybe about a year ago and the food was really good. I was actually really impressed with their aguachile and that's why we came back. When you own a restaurant you must have good food or else how will you continue to keep your customers? I'm not sure if there's cooks in the kitchen who simply do not care on how the food tastes but I can definitely tell you that the food here is not good (maybe there's another cook who does cook well but that's a hit and miss). You'll be better off buying tacos at a taco truck. I can tell it's a family owned business but please watch the way your cooks prepare the food and even try it. This place is in a great location and has a lot of potential but they need to start making some real Mexican food and own up to their 4 stars on Yelp. I won't be coming back. I felt like I wasted a lot of money for food that my family and I didn't enjoy. Well I flew down from Vacaville to check out what some had put on face book Very nice place it's been here for years. The prices are okay and food quality is excellent. The tacos are tasty and not too spicy. Adult beverage looked kinda big. I don't drink and drive. So a little bit thirsty. Clean and neat. Look forward to next. My good friend and I were looking for a good lunch place and found this place on Yelp when passing through Vallejo. The service provided by Justin was very good and he was very helpful in making some suggestions for us to try. We had the house margaritas which were superb and "aguachiles campechanos" as well as ceviche. We asked for the spice to be mild and boy are we glad we did. it was spicy and left our mouths warm at the end. Service was mediocre; I had to flag the waiter to order and get the check. Now the food was quite good. Chips and salsa came with a red and a green salsa. The green salsa was amazing and the red salsa was tasty and spicy. My husband had the Enchilada de camaron al chipotle. OMG! It was delicious. The prawns were cooked to perfection and the chipotle sauce was sooo flavorful. I had the Trio de enchiladas, carnitas, chicken, and steak enchiladas (you have a choice of meats or cheese).
