my gal Powell called me up to go to dinner and I initially decline, but I'm glad I changed my mind. The portions were crazy from the margarita to the food. I appreciate it all of the size that came with my meal the rice, the garlic bread, the fries and the salad were also tasty but with the portion being I definitely had to bring some home. our server was super attended and definitely made sure the drinks stayed full. The vibe was kinda like a at Home Mariscos. I definitely will try again.

Mariscos La Costa - Chicago Shrimp empanadas (still dreaming about them) + a whole fried fish with shrimp, rice & fries = absolute seafood heaven. Empanadas were crispy and packed with flavor, and that fish was huge, juicy, and seasoned perfectly with the sauce 5/5 Between the food, micheladas, pina coladas, and vibes, this spot is always unforgettable. A go-to for authentic mariscos & a fun night out! Looks like a place many workers near by come for lunch. I went during lunch hours and people poured in. It's a decent space for groups. The young lady was very nice and was able to answer any questions. Instead of salsa and chips they serve ceviche. The ceviche just neededa bit of salt but it was good. We also ordered guacamole, but it didn't taste fresh to us. We asked for jalapeños to be added they weren't. My friend had the shrimp fajitas. She said they were good. I didn't taste them. I had the fried red snapper with spicy garlic sauce on the side. The red snapper was fresh but by itself needed seasoning with the spicy garlic sauce it was perfect. My friend went back the next day and got the red snapper.

Stopped by for lunch after shopping at Dusty Groove and am so thankful we did! This was an amazing lunch. We had ceviche mixto (1/2 fish, 1/2 shrimp) and it was amazing! I love ceviche and have eaten it in Peru many times. This was among the best ceviche I've ever had! We split the chicharron de camaron charlatan and enjoyed it also. The house margaritas were also great. We can't wait to get back and explore more of the menu. Come eat at Mariscos La Costa - you will not be disappointed!

We came here at 7:30 without a reservation on a Saturday night. It was crowded, and it only took 5 minutes to get sat but after us it took more than 20. This place is fish forward, and it was pretty good. We started with Guac, and shrimp empanadas. They give you free tostada, chips, and salsa (very spicy and good). We then got oysters, they had a lot of shells in them, shucked that way it appears. They were also smaller more round oysters than long. I got the fish fillet with ranchero, they earned me that it was spicy but it was not spicy. It comes with fries and rice. My partner got a platter with shrimp, octopus, squid inside a filet. With fries, and rice. I also got a frozen margarita, and my partner an iced one. They were strong. Because it was so busy the service was slow, but the staff were super nice. The platters are HUGE. Overall this place is huge.

Oh my god hands down the best empanada and ceviche I've had in the city so far. The portions are sooo generous, definitely a feast. The only downside is that it does quite busy and service can be slow, but the quality of the seafood is worth waiting for.

Came on Father's Day so it was pretty busy - there was a 30 minute wait, but I got a text that my table was ready in about 15 min! When you sit they bring you a small cup of complimentary fish ceviche with crackers. It was actually a lot in that cup and very tasty. We ordered margaritas which were huge for the price. We started off with shrimp ceviche and the portion was crazy big. It was very flavorful. My friend ordered a main dish and that was also a crazy huge portion. This is a great place to grab drinks and dinner. There's no frills but you will get great food for your buck.

This is my second time coming here, the first time was 5 years ago. The food is phenomenal. The portion was so big where I couldn't finish. The presentation of the plate and the flavor of the food is 10/10 I would highly recommend. The food comes out pretty quick. Streets parking.

If you love seafood and want it served in the best way possible (flavor-wise), this is the place to go for that experience! The staff is quite nice and accommodating. The ambience is awesome. All in all a 10/10. I've got twice since I first discovered this a week ago and each time I have left amazed and quite happy (as has been my friends).

Been to this restaurant a few times but first time leaving a review. So many fun and tasty items on the menu you'll want to come back for more. Not to mention well sized portions. This time I tried a tampiqueno and a modelo. Always a great time and definitely will be back.

Time to be seated was less than five minutes for a party of four around 2:20 PM on a Sunday; busier times or days enforce their 90 minute time limit policy per table. The food was well seasoned, wish I tasted it a little more on the meat itself, yet all the vegetables tasted crisp and fresh. If you are looking to have intimate conversations be prepared to speak a lot louder, the DJ booth by the front keeps it pretty lively, but difficult to hold conversations across the table. Open authentic Mexican soda is always refreshing, and if you're looking for a place that has soft serve margaritas this is one of them. If you notice and unusual wait time or slow service please make your choice accordingly as I started to notice it was a case by case basis like some of the previous reviews had mentioned.

Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso!
