Burritos are fairly small. Carne could use a bit more seasoning and a little salt but it's good. Not very busy during lunch time. Employees are sweet and friendly. Catering to every need and as many sour creams I may need.. music is a little loud for conversations but at least they play good music. Would recommend.

We were instantly drawn to Pete's because of the dog friendly patio. There are about 6 tables on…read morethe very small patio, and on a Thursday during lunchtime all but 2 were taken. You'll have to park about a quarter mile away and potentially in a neighborhood because there is no parking on the street where Pete's is. I was sold on the crab roll as I'm not a really big fan of lobster. We also opted for the fish and shrimp. The crab roll is a stand out on its own. It had very great flavor and was fresh. I didn't mind the thick piece of bread that it came on, but I found myself just eating the crab itself. The fish and shrimp were actually quite nice and fresh. The shrimp was better than the fish in terms of seasoning. The fish was in desperate need of any type of seasoning. It was extremely plain. A dash of salt, or your favorite dipping sauce perhaps. I did find it interesting that the fish and shrimp plate did not come with a lemon. The fries were not too bad and reminded me a bit of In-N-Out fries when they've been in the bag for five minutes longer than they should and become soggy. They aren't bad, just would have preferred them to be crispier. The patio is covered and although it's small and the tables can feel close to each other the area still nice. For these two dishes, we spent $58.

They do not skimp on portions, and every bite was loaded with fresh, flavorful lobster. We also ordered the fried scallops, and they were incredible--perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The fish and chips absolutely slapped too. Fresh fish, great crunch, and done exactly right. What impressed me most was the value. Seafood isn't cheap, but the portions and quality here make every dollar worth it. You leave feeling like you got your money's worth and then some. If you're in North Park and love seafood, Pete Seafood is a must-try. Great food, generous portions, and overall an amazing experience. I'll definitely be back.

Dropped in on CBB for Juneteenth and my goodness did they live up to the hype. Place was packed as…read morecould be due to the holiday and it took probably 50 minutes longer to get the order than the online estimate, but when I tell you that that food absolutely SMACKED and I would do it again, there is not a lie to be found. The staff was very gracious in the face of the huge crowd and a mountain of orders. The location is spacious with plenty of room to line up and tables to sit and eat or wait on orders. The parking was easy too which was a bonus. For food we got two orders of the big greedy with yams, greens, baked beans and the new mushroom rice. I will stress that everything was excellent and we would get this exact order again, but a few particular standouts were 1) Fried Catfish. Our favorite protein by far. It was deliciously seasoned, perfectly fried, and succulently tender, 2) Candied Yams. They were sweet, tender and nicely balanced, 3) Mushroom Parmesan Rice. We only tried this because so many of the other sides were sold out and man are we glad we did. Our family tore this side up! The mushroom parm gravy was smooth and creamy with large chunks of mushroom. Definitely a great addition to the sides list. Our family can't wait to go back and try more of what CBB has to offer. So glad they've got a brick and mortar restaurant now!

The reason why I'm giving it a 2 star because the food was salty. I ordered the two protein combo, catfish fillet, 3 wings, and two sides (collard greens and rice and gravy). I only ate a quarter of the collard greens because it was extremely salty and the turkey was dry. Both the catfish and wings were also salty and the flavor was not to my liking. The rice wasn't fully cooked. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. :(

We asked if there were any tables available inside and were told no because they were being saved for other guests, even though there were empty tables for two. It was a bit chilly and windy outside, and we weren't the only ones asking to sit inside. I even watched one of the indoor tables get up and leave shortly after, which made the whole situation even more frustrating. That already left a bad impression, but we decided to stay and give the food a chance. Stinco Di Agnello: 4.5/10 The portion size was great and the dish looked delicious when it came out, but that was about the only positive. The lamb shank was overcooked, a little dry, and lacked the rich flavor you'd expect. Even the sauce couldn't save it. The pasta had a grainy texture, and the mushroom sauce was so weak that you could barely taste it. On top of that, the plate was too small, so the lamb sauce kept mixing into the mushroom sauce and completely threw off the dish. Saltimbocca Alla Romana: 3/10 This was honestly unacceptable. We specifically ordered the steak medium rare, and it came out well done. That's not a small mistake. It's one of the most basic things to get right. We didn't send it back because we didn't want to sit there waiting for another entree or waste the food, but it was tough, dry, and not enjoyable to eat at all. The sauce was bland and added nothing to the dish. The potatoes were the only thing worth eating. They also only serve wine and beer, so don't expect cocktails. The only reason this review isn't even lower is because our server was kind, attentive, and did a great job. I've given this restaurant multiple chances over the years, and every visit has been disappointing in one way or another. The ambiance wasn't great either. Between being seated outside in the cold, the noise, and the overall atmosphere, it definitely didn't feel like a place I'd choose for a date night. At this point, I can't justify coming back. There are far too many great Italian restaurants around to spend your money on food that is consistently underwhelming and poorly executed. Food: 3/10 Service: 8.5/10
