Calamari, over seasoned and fried too long! Possibly needs fresh oil!

OVER FRIED! Our first time eating here. The restaurant is clean, nice wait staff. The Crab Boil is $$$ I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast where Crab Boil's are common!!! Our food was over fried - possibly a grease issue, a burnt taste! We were told everything has Cajon seasoning which is okay; we brought the majority of our food home - a bit disappointed!

This it the best location for a great night out with your family or even by yourself. They serve anything from cajon chicken wings to lobster tails. Their clams are superb too. They also have fantastic customer service. I can never have any better place to eat than this. I would recommend this to any SD local!!!

    Seafood boil

Ordered seafood boil from here and there was a wholeee snail in my food. Never been more disgusted in my life.I offered to bring the food back too but they said take it up with DoorDash. Said that there was nothing they could do. The workers here are super rude btw. Soooo nasty

I have been to other locations and this one is always consistent! We got medium spicy with king crab and shrimp to go. Medium spicy does have a good kick to it that will have your nose running. They even gave us the table paper for us to use at home and all the fixings (lemon, salt and pepper and butter). It was just as good as home as it is to experience in the store!

I'm so excited to eat seafood, perfect because my family loves it too! We tried Combo #5, which includes king crab leg, snow crabs, crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels. Of course, it also comes with corn, sausage, and potatoes. We chose the garlic seasoning, but we set it aside since my sister is pregnant, easy to manage! We also got rice and some drinks. The place was nice, the server was friendly, and answered all our questions. So happy we had a great dinner.

The damage for four. Definitely worth it.

I have been coming here on and off for years and was suprised that I have not reviewed it before. Ample parking lot in a business plaza. I came here last month with BB and our neighbors for our bimonthly get together. We ordered a combo with snow crab and shrimp, and our neighbors ordered a combo with crawfish and shrimp. Additionally, we ordered a half dozen oysters on the half shell along with cheese curds as an appetizer. The oysters were fresh and meaty. The cheese curds tasted like cheese sticks, pleasant but not outstanding. They really give you a lot of shrimp which I appreciate. The snow crab was ok but the legs are very skinny and it's a pain to eat (Not the business's fault, but just telling my experience) Will skip that next time. The sauce is always on point, we go with the pub style (mixture of lemon pepper, garlic butter, and old bay). When I go alone, I get the hottest, but when I am with BB, I get mild so she doesn't pass out. Overall a pretty good experience and would recommend to others, as well as be glad to return.

After the destruction of our order

This food was phenomenal and the workers were very fast with our orders!! Never once have I felt the love within these beautiful seafood creatures that gave their lives to fill our stomachs. I truly think that this place is a once in a lifetime experience, that you can experience every single time you come here. The oysters spoke to my soul!

Crab, crawfish, shrimp, oysters, and friends

Lowkey might be the best seafood boil spot of all time. Servers were hella nice and attentive, we got shrimp, crawfish, crab, clams, everything tasted amazing, oysters were fresh as can be. Perfect spot for date night or just a calm spot to go with friends

Food amazing. Service amazing. Everything from when I walked into the door and when I left was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. This is a must have experience you need to have with your friends or family at least once in your life.

Shrimp made extra spicy instead of mild as ordered in receipt
    Sara O.

I'm really upset with how Lee handled the food mix up. We placed an online order for 2 sausage bags (different spice levels) and shrimp. One of the sausage bags was extra spicy while the rest of the order was mild. My husband offered to pick up the order as I was home with the kids. After my husband arrived home, we noticed that the shrimp bag was made extra spicy and the sausages were mild and in separate bags. I immediately called crab pub and offered to send them pictures or face time of the situation. They ask either my husband or I drive back for them to remake the order and that they would not be able to do anything else otherwise. I thought this was very unsympathetic as my kids were in the background and to add more stress to our day was uncalled for. We haven't visited crab pub in years and I want to support a local business, but it's hard to do so when the staff is not understanding and hard to deal with

The flavor was good, but not the best! But I would come here again because the prices here better than other seafood boil joints! You get a lot of food.the theme was pretty common, nautical. The service was pretty fast I would say! I would recommend

Took my dad to Crab Pub for his first time, and he absolutely loved it! He's super picky, but the clam chowder won him over it was perfectly done. I always get a pound of shrimp with sausage and corn, plus a side of rice, Pubstyle with Medium spice. I shared that with my dad, and he really enjoyed it too! The ambiance is super casual, which I love. It can be a bit loud, but that's part of the vibe, especially with sports always playing on the TVs. The service was fantastic as always: quick, efficient, and teamwork focused, with multiple waitresses helping out to ensure everything ran smoothly. I've never had a bad experience here, it's always quick, easy, and consistently great. Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we arrived in a Saturday night. Food came quickly. The crab boil was great. I enjoyed it. My husband got the friend shrimp basket and clam chowder. He did say the chowder was a little runny.

It was definitely more than enough for our group to share, and we loved being able to dig in and try a little bit of everything! The sauce was one of the biggest highlights of the meal for us. It was so flavorful and really made the seafood even better. I also loved that you can choose your own spice level, so you can customize it depending on how much heat you can handle. We definitely appreciated having that option! Another dish we really enjoyed was the crab rangoon. These were so good because they actually use real crab, which made them taste even better and feel a little more elevated than your typical crab rangoon. I would definitely recommend ordering these as an appetizer! We also tried the garlic noodles. They were good and paired nicely with the seafood, but I do think they could use a little more flavor to really stand out. That was probably the one thing we felt could be improved. The service was a little slow during our visit, but overall the staff was nice and the food made up for the wait. They said you had the Juke Joint too, allegedly. Now your Poboy shop done closed down too, so now you're stuck moonlighting as "The Gumbo Pot" at festivals that probably cost you more in booth rental than you actually made. Why is it you've have ALL of these different restaurants (allegedly) that NEVER stayed open though? Denny's ain't NEVER had to close down and reopen under different names. Anyways though, Richard T. I heard you and Chef Boots used to get into about recipes (allegedly) and y'all almost came to blows about it (allegedly). AGAIN, just hearsay, but I'm just retelling a story I was told, verbatim. Anyways, if you scroll down to the "10 reviews for Poboy Shop that are not currently recommended" section and look at the reviews, Sally T. is the daughter (the one Chef Boots' sister Eboni used to babysit in the 90's) and Nina T. is really the wife. For her to lie and say this food was "Michelin Bib Gourmand (sic) quality" is diabolical! I think maybe she was trying to say "gourmet" but regardless, she's delusional. NOTHING about that food is gourmet or Michelin. Maybe Michelin tires come to mind as you want to run the food over with your car, but this place ain't even a Michelin napkin, let alone a star. Furthermore, to have your family write reviews because you can't get enough honest reviews about your food is sad. You're one of those people who LOVE to say you HAVE a BUSINESS but ain't really DOING business. People are LITERALLY telling you where you need to improve, and instead of implementing the changes, no, you'd rather argue with people and lie about what actually happened. I was cool, polite, and respectful, and I didn't even make a scene like I could have. I ate ONE of those THREE yucky sides (jambalaya) and brought the rest of that swill back to you, and your wife gave me a $10 refund of the $20 I spent. I could've EASILY got loud and went off about how bad the food was, and disrupted your business, and drove away your customers, but I didn't. I made SURE I was respectful. As a matter-of-fact, I was so cool and quiet about it, YOU didn't even realize what happened until AFTER I had already left. To me, it just looks like you've been janky and slangin' subpar food for 30-years, and you STILL apparently don't get it. What's even sadder is to be able to get this type of feedback about you from somebody who remembers you from 30+ years ago, ESPECIALLY considering the Taste of New Orleans festival was the FIRST (and LAST by the way) time I had EVER seen you or had your gross food in my LIFE! Energy doesn't lie though.
