Food was surprisingly good. Service was good as well, our server was very helpful. They have IPAS, el Valiente I highly recommend that IPA . However the restroom was disgusting , they only have a share restroom for man and woman and smelled bad in there, toilet paper all over the place, urine all over the floor need to be more cleaned with your restroom.

I placed a phone order today at 1pm for 5 shrimp rolled tacos and 5 marlin rolled tacos with sour cream on the side. I arrived at 1:25 and the order was still being prepared. I go outside to my car to wait. Come back in 15 minutes later and my order still isn't ready. I stand at the counter another 10 minutes and get my order. I asked if the sour cream was on the side and was told yet. I get in my car and check my order and the shrimp rolled tacos have sour cream on them. I return inside and they offer to remake them by removing all toppings and dropping in the oil to re-fry and add new toppings as this would be the quickest way. I should have just asked for a refund at this moment. When I arrive home and start playing my food the guacamole on both orders is BLACK. I couldn't see this when I checked my order because the toppings were covering it. I spent $39 on the two orders of rolled tacos, one chicharron taco plus rice and beans. I won't spend my money here again.

Can't even call that a taco

They took for ever to take the order and the wait was even worst m. Keep in mind it's q table for 2 and when the food gets here ithe shrimp tacos have 2 small shrimps per taco wtf really ? The food doesn't even have flavor and you guys have the nerve to pull that stunt ?

Food is above average. That's the good thing. The bad thing is they're bait-and-switch tactics. Case In point, their own website states that their shrimp burrito is $9.99. When in actuality, it's $16.99. I found this out when I looked at the cash register screen and it said $16.99 VS $9.99. I then pointed this out to the cashier. And she stated that they recently changed the prices and she pointed at the in restaurant menu. I then. Said well, I hope it's a good burrito and she said oh, it is so I go back to work and start eating it. And then I note that the shrimp was actually breaded and not just shrimp. And I can taste that the oil that the shrimp was fried in was stale, as the shrimp had a mild bitterness. Me and some of my coworkers had gone there a few times before. And I always ordered the Marlin tacos which are good. Now, with that said, I made the mistake of going there on Sunday, they had a live band and the music was so insanely loud. I had to practically kiss the order taker so she could hear me. And it was really not a good experience. As I brought my girlfriend there and we couldn't even talk to each other. We had to text each other and we were sitting right across from each other. But she was a good sport about it and even requested a song, until she found out the price for that was going to be $20. So with that said, there are many other places out there, better than this one. And without the bait-and-switch pricing tactics.

This place can be so fire depending on what you get! My daughter always gets carne asada fries. Always a great choice. Fish tacos are always fresh, I would just say the sauce inside is a little bland. Rolled tacos are good but the fish one has an off taste to it. Oysters are always fresh and cleaned well! Cannot go wrong with to ceviche. The servers are all really on it! Making sure we are good, helping with suggestions, and give off really good energy! We've been here a handful of times. Hoping to try more of their seafood! The vibe sometimes has a live band! Super loud. I would call ahead if you're not a fan because they come most weeks. For me, it was giving Mexicooooo so we loved it! There are sports TV and lots of hot sauce options on the table which is heaven to me! Not to mention complimentary chips & salsa for dine in!

Customer Service fast and responsive Parking plenty of onsite free parking shared with the Licord store Location off market and close to 805 fe 4297 Market St San Diego, CA 92102 United States Ambience comfortable for adult friendly (drinks) Food Delicious During lent I ordered thru Uber eats fish tacos and campechana (shrimp in tomato sauce, onions, cucumber) it was filled up with shrimp. It's now after lent and ℹ remember how I enjoyed this food. My husband and I googled this place and decided to give them a chance. From outside we almost missed it because of the location. It doesn't look appealing because it's next to a licord store. The colors of the restaurant aren't attractive. Please don't be fooled the food is delicious. We came in and nothing from the outside the inside is good. I appreciate good food and ambiance. It's Hispanic and the music box mix music and performers come in from time to time. They have all kinds of Alcohol drinks . It's my new go to place for sea food! Hope this information helps anyone looking for good delicious sea food plates.

This was my first time here. It was not bad, but also nothing to rave about. I had 2 fish tacos and one shrimp. The fish tacos were good. The fish not over cooked. So it had a soft bite to them. The shrimp was also ok. But they do not clean the shrimps back side out. So I wouldn't have those again. My wife had the Grilled Fish. Good presentation, but taste was off. The fish was salty. Every bite had to have beans with it. To cut the salty taste. The service was good. It was around brunch time. So the restaurant was not packed. The music is a little loud. But it also adds to the vibe there. You feel more like your in a cantina then a restaurant. It seems like a great social place at night. Also the music is a pay to play. So you can choose what you want playing. I might give it another chance in the future. Since they have a large amount of dishes to choose from.

I used to love coming her but our server tried to be slick by covering the "8+ people" for giving her self an automatic 20% gratuity. After I paid and got the receipt and saw what she covered and asked her about it they just laughed it off and said "the baby was enjoying the live music though"

There's a lot very close by but parking is $8 ($5 if you get validation by making a $10 purchase in one of the shops at Seaport Village). A lot was sold out by the time we got there so I would recommend coming early in the morning. They had fishmongers scaling and cleaning fish off the pier and a wide array of fresh fish by the pound (prices were very affordable). When we were there, there was one "cooked foods" booth with clam chowder, ceviche, fish and chips, uni hand rolls, etc. Prices were fair but the line was long so we opted to skip it. Much of the menu was sold out by that time anyway. Food looked decent based on what I saw others eating. Overall it's worth a stop if you're in the area, want to do some shopping at Seaport Village, can find parking, etc. Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth a trip per se.

I stopped at Trang's Seafood first but they were sold out on Saturday. The owner directed me to Vien Dong, which was incredibly kind of her. I called first to ensure they were in stock before I made the trip across town. This parking lot is kinda a mess. It's shared between all the shops in the plaza. Patrons can't seem to park responsibly. There was a plethora of seafood specials promoted for the Memorial Day weekend. These crawdaddies were chilling in a tub next to the blue crab. I asked the kind seafood attendant for a plastic bag. I grabbed the tongs and picked out the most lively crawdads to bring home. My eyes were different larger than my belly because I picked out 60 bad boys roughly 4lbs which is significantly more than 3 of us needed. They were on sale for a reasonably priced $5.48lb, As I was headed to register when my little eye spied fresh water head-on jumbo shrimp. So I had to grab some 1lbs of those too. The store is mostly organized and clean. I don't like how narrow all the aisles are but it very on par for all Asian Markets. In pinch if I was in the area I should here because it's closer to home, but I prefer a different Asian Market due to familiarity and ease of navigating the store layout.

Since I tend to always ask for Italian or Greek food, I felt it was only right for me to acquiesce to what they wanted to eat that night. Blue Water sits about halfway between Old Town and Little Italy on the side of I-5 opposite from the international airport. There are other restaurants clustered in these few blocks that are also popular. If you are willing to walk a few blocks, you can take the trolley here. One orders at the counter and the food is then brought out to you via a placard with a number you put on your table. The service at Blue Water was unremarkable, but, since there was a constant line, you can't expect them to fawn over you. The prices vary, but, for the more "exclusive" slabs of fish, they run a little on the higher side. The interior has woodsy and somewhat seaside nautical decor. It might also take a little bit of work to find a table owing to its popularity. I will eat seafood, and like some types of seafood very much, but I'd say I don't care for more than half of the seafood out there. Here, they feature many types of seafood, all of which are fresh and you can peruse all the glass cases displaying it. Coming from the kitchen, there are some themed and nuanced presentations of it. I didn't need an entire fish market. I just order pieces of fish that can be presented like a piece of steak and, hopefully, with as little cartilage as possible. Similarly, I also like some smaller fish made to look that way, such as trout. I'm not a big fan of shellfish and don't eat clams, mussels, calamari, and others, but do like shrimp and scallops. They seem to put together some nice platters with scallops. I will also eat lobster, but have probably done so less than what one can count on two hands. If someone wants to treat me to the latter, I'm in. The three platters delivered to the table were enjoyed with my friends hosting me here enjoying the food more than I did. To keep things simple, I ordered a trio of fish tacos. They were fairly good. My friends liked their dishes more than I did. I typically wonder if I'm going astray when I'm not giving a business a rating that's in line with the herd. Three stars does indeed mean that a place is fine and Blue Water is fine. I might be doing this because of the service, the pricing of some items such that you wouldn't want to add much on, and the overall appeal of my selected dish. However, since there are many other four and five star reviews, and if you really like fish, Blue Water will most likely be reliable for you.
