I was very disappointed to see that I only got enough salsa for maybe one taco and I ordered four. I was really hyped about ordering this because it's my favorite place to eat these tacos, but I'm really disappointed today. I'm not saying it to the service people that worked there. So glad we stopped at this Mariscos restaurant! My fiancé and I ordered an agua chiles tostada, tacos gobernador & a shrimp coctel to share...wow, delicious! We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon & it wasn't too busy. The service was fast & they had Spanish music on point! (my type of playlist). The agua chiles were so tasty that we ended up ordering a second plate. They are't too spicy in my opinion but there's a small kick! They're also very generous with their tostadas. The taco gobernador was also delicious & comes with a side of non spicy salsa & a chile guero (banana pepper). The coctel had a good "broth" before adding additional seasonings. I didn't think the prices were too steep for mariscos. Will definitely be back soon! read more

Someone recently asked me what was the last great spicy food I had and this place immediately came to mind. Their ceviche & aguachile are delicious and if you want to make it spicy they have plenty of Salsa Huichol. The decor is so cute and I love that they have a nice outdoor sitting area as well. The day I stopped by was hot and I was craving ceviche so bad so rushed here a couple of minutes before closing and they were very nice about it. Looking forward to going back soon! read more

We ordered 2 shrimp cocktails. And 2 Jarritos. Girl who took our order in red was spaced out. She ends up bringing us only 1 large. And then of course we waited for the other to come out. Strange. Maybe she's having a bad day. When our order was correctly fulfilled, we ate and paid after for the one she didn't charge us. It tasted good. Maybe cashier should repeat the order before we leave the counter. AaThis place has bathrooms, but we're a bit stuffy. Tables are of poor quality. Delicious food, reasonably priced, and good service. I ordered a ceviche mixta tostada. It was piled high. The fish was not minced. Lots of whole pieces of shrimp, Octopus, and Abolone . The bottom was layered with regular fish ceviche. Delicious flavor. I couldn't eat it all. The oysters were big and already shelled. Yummm. Chips and salsa was good too. These shell-on shrimp are covered with a sweet and sizzling red sauce with pungent garlic and plenty of paprika. The shrimp were a bit mushy, which is the only thing I would change. The even spicier Camaron Aguachile Tostada has smooth chunks of shrimp in a glowing green chile water, a cold and refreshing app. Tacos Gobernador are a secret menu item, the worst-kept secret. A cheese-filled taco of jumbo shrimp, fried on the outside so the cheese makes a crispy crust. Comes with a side of smoky, spicy black salsa that hurts so good. I love Mariscos Linda. Their food is unapologetically, authentically delicious and that they're not afraid to make it the way it's supposed to be; full of flavor and full of fire. I highly recommend any of the seafood tacos. I got four different ones and each one was packed w flavor and they were not skimpy on the protein. They gave me three different salsas as well which were spicy and delicious. Chips and limes came w the meal. Everything you see in this picture came out to be 22$ and it was well worth it. Original mother restaurant, Olympic, call Skal Ara how do you spell that CALEDE word in Spanish tell me the words that they're saying in Spanish Walking in you can tell it's going to be good. It's a vibe you get. Or the fact that it smells amazing and you can feel it in the air when you walk in. You just know the food will be good. A friend said if I was in the area I should try crispy shell shrimp tacos at Moriscos Linda on Whittier in East LA. I thought to myself this better be really good because they're literally surrounded by authentic Mexican restaurants as far as you can see. Of course I got the crispy shrimp tacos but I also ordered the Asada burrito. Omg! Both were off the charts good. The shrimp tacos were unique, and the fact that the only thing inside the hard shell was the shrimp, so it was shrimp inside a hard shell, and then deep fried, warm and tender in the inside crisp on the outside with an avocado on top, to give it a little bit of flavor and some more moisture for the shell little salt and it comes with its own garlic pico de galleo. So good I'll be coming back again just for those. But it was the Carne Asada burrito that blew my mind. That flavor I can't even describe how spectacular it was. It was different. Compelling bit after but. It drew me in. I couldn't not eat it. like needing to listen to only the Grateful Dead after one of their concerts. If you know you know. The flavor was yes, a new experience, but somehow wonderful in an old way too. A flavor you just had tasted before. But old in its authentic flavors just comfortable like you were in someone's home. I know that this restaurant has a mother restaurant, CALEDE on Olympic. I've got to try that place for sure. The one that started this whole thing because, what authentic flavors that comes from somewhere with deep rich history. My God that was the best burrito I think I've ever had in my life. I came here because one of my friends recommended it, I usually go to the Mariscos Choix in Downey, but since there prices went ridiculously high I had to officially find a new spot. So we ordered 2 large Aguachiles, 1 shrimp cocktail and two tacos with asada. All around everything tasted really good! The aquachiles were to die for and my wife said her cocktail was full of flavor and did not have to add anything to it to make it taste better rather then our usual spot and the tacos were enormous. Not to mention, the ladies working in there were super friendly and made sure we had all that we needed to enjoy our lunch. read more

We had a craving for fish tacos and ceviche. Came across this place via Yelp. Fish tacos are plentiful and delicious. You literally get two tacos in one. The flavors are perfect. The ceviche even better. Finely chopped up and the right amount of lemon and spices. Also tried their fish burrito. Only down side is they put too much rice but other than that it's a good burrito. Ordered kids fish nuggets for our child and she ate them all. I recommend giving them a try. read more

The only thing I recommend from here is the fried shrimp tacos . The shrimp empanada was too plain . The masa was tasteless as well as the Shrimp was plain . Filling was nothing but plain shrimp . It did come with a chipotle mayo salsa but even that didn't taste well . I drenched mine in the salsa that came with out fried tacos. The fish ceviche is tasteless . This is my Favorite mariscos place! Every time someone came from out of town to visit us (before the pandemic) we would take them here. Since covid started, this is still one of my favorite places to get take out. We always get the fish tacos and fish ceviche. The quesadillas are also really good and travel well. The mojarra is a STAPLE. We've gotten it once since covid, and it still is soo good. The only weird thing is that their hours were weird for a while. One time we went, and it was only the truck outside. Last Wednesday, I called within an hour of them closing and they said their stove was off so it was only ceviches. NEVER THE LESS I LOVE THEM and it's super worth it!! Just call ahead of time and order over the phone!! read more

Consistently amazing every time I come here or order through online. They have a restaurant and a food truck outside. Their shrimps are huge and fresh. I love their camaron aguachile. It's pretty darn spicy and so so good. I love the textures from the cucumber and onions and you can't beat that spice. I gave a bite to my friend and he couldn't handle it. I've also gotten their taco de camaron dorado which I am in love with. It has a warm, crunchy exterior and a soft middle with pieces of shrimp that you can actually taste and feel. I've also tried their camarones a la diabla which was good, but I wouldn't get it again. It was spicy but like a muted spice? I don't know how I would describe it without talking it down because it was good, just not for me. This came with beautiful rice, a salad, and fries. Lastly, I've tried their camarones al mojo de ajo. Between the two shrimp full meals, I preferred this one; which was actually a recommendation by the waitress helping me out at the restaurant. I loved it! I'm a fan of garlic and butter and this sauce is on point. This too comes with the beautiful rice, salad, and fries. The staff are very kind and easy to talk to. A complete hidden gem to me. My coworkers and I are no strangers to this area but finding this local gem was a great surprise. Be warned, the portions are huge! I made the mistake of ordering too much since I couldn't decide and wanted to try everything! The fish taco is a small meal in itself.
