    Shrimp and fish tacos.
    Allie P.

Cash only. Private parking lots. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - wide selection. I've only been to a couple of these types of places & I'm always wanting ceviche. This time, it was an order of fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and a small cocktail. Oh, I forgot about the imitation crab on a tostada... yes, a very large order was placed. I keep forgetting how largely portioned everything is and tend to over order what my stomach can handle before going into food coma. I would recommend ordering 1-2 items off the menu for starters as you could always order more later. My favorite was the octopus cocktail - it came with slices of avocado, saltine crackers, cilantro, etc. I added lime juice and some of the hot sauce that was on the table for added flavor & spiciness. The shrimp and fish were both lightly fried & were topped with shredded lettuce and either pico de gallo or salsa. The tostada was layered with diced tomatoes, some onions here and there and imitation crab and slices of avocado. Tasted kind of plain, so I added some lime juice. There is seating inside - good for groups. 1 TV & lots of sea/beach decor. Good price for the amount of food you're getting. Come hungry.

We came across this Gem! We were looking for a seafood restaurant, to dine in. Let me tell you this place is GREAT!! FOOD is fresh, great taste and the right severing portions. We will be back and we do highly recommend it if you are in the area.. We came all the from Hawthorne and let me tell you it was worth the drive. We be back again! Best Valentine's day Lunch!!!

    The Shrimp Burrito not good!

Not satisfied with the food... I decided to try this place since the reviews seem alright... 1st note the rice tasted old and stale. The shrimp was dirty and why is there salad on the burrito?i didn't expect large pieces of carrots in the burrito. I only ate 1/3 of it because I was hungry . The dining room was extremely small only 3 tables were inside which were all occupied. The patio is bigger but it's summer and the heat it didn't make this meal pleasant..

Food was ok. Aguachiles are spicy, extremely spicy!! Only reason im rating this review a 3 stars is because of the cashier. The cashier needs to learn how to communicate with people. Took 30 min to receive our food

If you like Mexican seafood, man is this the place! I've been coming here for a few years, and it's so good! I usually order the breaded shrimp plate (camarones empanizados) and the Campechana, which is the greatest Shrimp Cocktail ever. It has shrimp, octopus, oysters, etc, seriously one of the best. The breaded shrimp are so tasty and come with tartar sauce to make them even better. The fish and shrimp tacos are huge and totally delicious. They come with so much shrimp and fish and are served on 2 corn tortillas with lots of cabbage. They also sell beer and wine coolers, if you want to enjoy a Corona with your Shrimp Cocktail. All of the food here is good, inexpensive, and comes in pretty big portions. They're cash only and there is not an ATM near by, so be prepared and come with cash. It is in East LA, so it's not the nicest place or in the nicest part of town, so make sure you lock your car and enjoy. :)

You'd be surprised at how delicious their fish and chips are here! I come here often with my family for the shrimp tacos, they're fully loaded and good to the last bite. Both the fish&chips and shrimp tacos are enough to drop by for a bite. They also have a variety of micheladas available that I've yet to try. If you enjoy reasonably priced mariscos this is a great place to try!

My coworkers talks about how good the shrimp tacos are so after training out this way here I am. Ready to get down with the get down. This is a nice quant place. I will up date you on the grub. I order 2 shrimp tacos and a fish taco to go.But wait! There's more. Stay tuned for my after love a dub grub response. Wow...it was delicious. I love you man....

This place has good seafood. My favorite thing here are the fish tacos. The micheladas are good and go perfect with the ceviche. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is family friendly.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

My second favorite, the roasted rainbow carrots (the salsa macha was palatable all by itself!!). Third favorite, grilled chicken (again, not sure the name on the menu but, it was so juicy and perfect with the housemade tortillas). Other menu goodies, the steak (ribeye bites) tortillas with salsa/guacamole, carnitas (looked good), cactus appetizer, and cheese (and cactus?) quesadilla. My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen.
